As she heard her mother tell her no she seemed to relax, but the pause had been nerve wracking. Alizeh had started to worry that maybe her mothers were doing the exact same thing as their mothers had done. She didn’t want to be mad at or dislike someone for no reason. “That’s good Oma.. I really like Esai Bunny. He’s fun.” She didn’t want to stop being his friend just because of that.

She sighed and reached out to take her daughter’s hands in her own. “Yes baby, you’ve told me. Maybe next time I will go with you so that I can meet your bunny. It might make your Mata feel better if she knows that they have been looked into.” It wasn’t the same as Alizeh finding a friend in the village. They could just ask who the parents were and instantly know if they were a good or bad kid.

With her mother holding her hands she squeezed lightly and grinned a little, showing off her dimples. “Yeah! I’d like that!” Showing her mother the way to her friend would be fun! Not to mention she would like Esai to meet her mom. He was so nice and she also wanted to get him a good weapon. Something Elarian made just for him!

“Easy little one.. it won’t be for a while.” Alizeh needed to stay close to home for a while. Not to mention Akel had a few things planned. She needed to check out what the earthling settlements were like before she and Pruu made real travel plans. It was in their best interest. And since Pruu was more cautious than she was about the earthlings it just made sense for her to go.

“Awww…” She whined. “But I wanted to get Esai Bunny a weapon. He’s gonna start training soon.” She frowned a little. “They don’t train when their little like we do.” She had learned that much at least. Alizeh swayed from side to side as she thought more and more about it. “Oh! We can go next full moon.” They had just had one the night before so that would give them plenty of time.
