Kamacite had no problem sharing what he knew. While he didn’t want Misha involved, he knew that the more ignorant he was about things, the more dangerous it would be for him. Now that he’d been forced to reveal his identity, Kamacite was determined to make sure Misha survived through all of this.
He glanced down at his arm, biting back a wince when Misha gently took hold of it. The wound itself crossed over the scars from the creature from October. With it being so cold out, and Yuuri often being cold regardless of the weather, he couldn’t remember actually having his arms out for Misha to see the scars. And he kept his collars high and hair a bit shaggy to hide the teeth scars on his neck.
The kimono didn’t exactly do much to hide either.
Under the outer robe there were no sleeves attached to the rest of the bodice, so it was easy to push the bloodied fabric, patterned like the night sky underneath, out of the way so he could inspect the cut for himself.
“I think it’ll be okay,” he said through gritted teeth as Misha pressed his fingertips against his arm, only to flinch back a little when the pain grew too intense.
“It might hurt a little,” he admitted, and then took the fabric of the robe to mop up the blood, and then, because he felt that Misha had the right to know after being so kind to him, he added, “I can’t afford to go to a hospital. But I have some medical supplies where I live.”
Tending to the wound might be difficult with only one hand, but he would figure a way to manage. He’d already gotten Misha too far into this to have him worrying over him, too.
“As far as I’m aware, my rank is the equivalent to a General. But they call me an Eternal Senshi. There are... very few others with stronger magic or abilities.” Even though he was just repeating what he understood, it felt very strange to sound like he was boasting, and he could feel his cheeks darken as a result.
“I’ll be okay… I can text you when I’m home,” he offered, not wanting to keep Misha out if he had other plans.

“Wow, so you’re strong,” Misha said, his smile a bit admiring now. It wasn’t often he got to meet someone so magically powerful.
Then again, he’d never actually met someone who could do magic before. Unless General Jet counted, but since he was different, Misha didn’t think so. Either way, if Yuuri was the equivalent to General Jet in strength… that was pretty impressive for someone so shy.
Once again, Misha was struck by how much less timid Yuuri seemed like this.
When Yuuri admitted he couldn’t afford to go to the hospital, Misha’s smile dipped into a small, concerned frown and a furrow developed between his eyebrows.
“You shouldn’t try to treat this on your own,” he insisted, letting go of Yuuri’s arm so he wouldn’t accidentally hurt him more. “I don’t think it looks too deep, so you could probably get by without stitches, but that’ll be hard to bandage by yourself. Come back to the apartment with me and let me help you. Lev should have enough supplies to handle it. I can make you some tea and something to eat.”
He had no idea where Yuuri lived, but Yuuri had never given any indication that he had any sort of roommate situation going on.
“It’s the least I can do after you saved me.” The pensive look disappeared, and Misha laughed brightly. “I guess I was wrong back when we were out looking for that Yeti. You’re actually not so bad at protecting me.”

Kamacite wasn’t sure he deserved the admiration, but he appreciated Misha’s enthusiasm. It had been a long four years, but they’d been good for the most part. The past couple years were longer and lonelier, but now he’d met Misha and Jonah. Maybe things would be okay again.
“Okay,” he quietly agreed after a little while to consider. He could definitely use the help getting bandaged up, and he knew he could benefit from the additional company. He felt like he was encroaching on Misha’s space, but it was difficult to deny someone so vibrant and cheerful as Misha was.
It scared him a little, because he felt like that meant Misha would be easier to take advantage of, and he didn’t want his friend to be used.
“I have a different name as this,” he said as he remembered that it was probably important to note. “It’s Kamacite.”
And with that, he made once last check to make sure they were alone, and powered down.
