Though the memory of a console is only accessed for saving games and other such fun things, where as a computer must use it's memory for game data and other such programs, (adding to it's versatility), computers generally run faster than an X-box game because the data they need is already on the hard drive and therefore doesn't need to be accessed off of the disk like a console. This is based off of my knowledge from all consoles except 360, for I'm not sure whether or not 360 saves the game data onto it's hard drive.

[Spud_Man] PiousCorn Well, one must use some self-control and respect for the game to keep them from cheating. It's what keeps me from cheating anyway. But I don't have self control.
It's one of the main reasons chicks slap me alot! ninja rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl

I have over a teribyte on this computer... that must be at least double what the Xbox 360 has.... EDIT: post #2222!

Karishala Yeah... there's also the fact that Bethesda is *charging* for the official mods. *shakes head sadly* I'm still waiting for some uber skilled modder to fix the beast races legs. It can't be done. You can't change the animations for the Player, and I don't think that you can change the animations for other NPC's. Then again, they might have changed that since they said that in an interview.

Wait what does one teribyte equal...but the xbox 360 does save onto the harddrive (if you have one) or a memory card (memory card holds 64 megabytes harddrives 12 megabytes) and I think 12 megabytes=1 gigabyte but how much gigabytes equal a teribyte because then I can figure this out...

I believe 1,024 MB equals one GB, and that 1,024 GB equals one Terrabyte. It's a system that I believe has a recognizable pattern, that I believe is every 1,024, or 1K to the next size.
On a side note, ye gods does the Xbox 360 lack in Harddrive space.

Not to mention you can't get RAM upgrades for the 360. Or upgrade any of the graphics hardware. Or HD space. Or CPU.
Computers are just > consoles. And for those who like to play the "But gamepad > mouse" card:
Microsoft sells a 360 controller for the PC. I win.
