Nova would watch as her teammates would walk back over to her and Noah, she remained seated and listened to what Feralis had to say. Her head would tilt in confusion as she listened to his past, he grew up with wolves and yet was not a true wolf himself. It was interesting and almost nice to get even a glimpse into his past, before he addressed Ivory and the earrings he wore. Nova would gulp at his response that it had been sealed to his ear, and noticed he found it both physically and emotionally painful to move it. "We could get a craftsman to make a plate to go over the earring couldn't we.." she would say to Noah in her mind. The wolf would nod to her and make a short brief chuff noise to show he agreed. Nova would let out a short smile, her next task was to find something for Ivory to cover the earring.
Nova would hold the materials in her hand and look at them as she listened to Feralis discuss voting for the next leader. She would let out a short burst of laughter and shake her head, "Well, it's definitely not for me.." she would say, looking to the sky. "I don't have it in me to lead, which is why I can't return home.." she would add, letting out a sigh before she would attempt to perk up again. "Besides, my first demand as a leader would be to make a princess day once a week!!" she would say, chuckling at her idea to try and clear the bad atmosphere. She would playfully push Feralis beside her and then hear Ivory willing to answer any questions. The words that Feralis chose hit Nova deep, she felt like she finally had some companions in this dark world.
"Ivory, what do you wish for your future?" she would ask.

With how much Feralis intended to and did speak, he was content to silence whenever the others would take a chance to speak. Namely, it was due to his curiosity in what they would say...with the added benefit of resting his voice as he was not used to talking for as long as he did. The first response was from Ivory, showing how his earrings were sealed to his ear and when he attempted to tug it...pain crossed his face as his ear would move with it. 'That ring is definitely stuck in there,' Feralis thought to himself, with no clue how to remove it. While it didn't seem likely they could remove the first ring, perhaps a metal worker could remove the rest? He wasn't sure though. He also wasn't sure if, when the chance arose, Ivory would actually get it removed. As Feralis would continue to speak, he would note Ivory begin preparing the rabbit by draining it of blood. For a split second, it triggered a primal urge in him though he held it back and continued. He also saw Ivory's reaction to him saying they needed a new leader; Feralis knew it would be painful for them, but that it needed to be done. The first person to respond to it was Princess; bursting out with laughter and saying it was definitely not for her. Feralis would smile slightly at that; also in relief cause Princess as leader would be an experience. She would look to the sky and say she didn't have it in her to lead, which was why she couldn't return home with a sigh. Feralis' ears would tilt curiously at that; 'She can't go home cause she can't lead?' he wondered to himself. Remembering that, in actuality, he knew almost nothing of Princess. In fact, so far, he knew more about Beta than her. He would look curiously to her, a silent look asking the question.
She would go back to her usual self though and say her first demand as leader would be for a princess day once a week and shove him playfully. Feralis' budged a little from the shove with a slight smile at the joke; at least he hoped it was a joke. 'She wants nothing to do with it, it seems,' he thought to himself. He was about to ask her of her home when Ivory spoke up; saying they could ask him what they wanted to know about him. Princess would go first, saying she wanted to know what he wished for his future. It was a decent question, and one Feralis would wait for a response to as he thought of his own. While curious of Princess, he would give due focus to Ivory; besides, he could always ask more about her after this vote. Once he had responded to her, Feralis would ask his question. "Tell us what parts of you that you think mean you should and shouldn't be leader like I did. And, if you were leader, what is your promise you will try to do or be as one?" Feralis would ask bluntly, though his tone said he didn't mean it in a bad way. He wanted Ivory's opinion on what made him a good or bad candidate, and what he intended to do if he were one. That way he could best judge if he represented what Feralis wanted in a leader.

Ivory would look to Nova. She was the first person to ask him a question. He would let out a deep sigh. "In the near future? I would like to find my tribe and rescue my Father from my Mother. He...is not treated well there, like I was not." His ears would go flat on his head. "In the future though, I just want to become a Huntsman. I don't have a tribe to go back to. Honestly, I would probably lead people through the mountains, acting as both a guide and a bodyguard… Did he want revenge for Jessica's death? He did, but knew he would never truly be able to cut the disease that was the Crimson Fang from the world. "I would also like to take missions to hurt the Crimson Fang the way they have hurt us.
The Feralis would tell him to list off why he should or shouldn't be the leader. Honestly, he didn't want to take Jess' place. It was her place, and it should stay that way. His ears were still down. "I know my weak points already... I'm meek, and I get scared often in social situations. In combat, I am very focused, maybe a little too focused. Ummm...the whole thing with the Crimson Fang was a fluke. I didn't think they would believe me...in fact, Kha did not. I guess my good points is that I'm loyal, and I do my best… He would look down, he felt like an omega in that moment. He would look up with a genuine look in his grey eyes "The only thing I can promise is to try to not let you or Jess' memory down. I will do my best to protect you with my life .." Tears would appear in his eyes, and he would walk towards the lake to get some water.

Nova would listen to Feralis as he focused on Ivory, she smiled slightly as the floor was given to him, intrigued to hear what he would have to say. Nova would tilt her head, a little bit confused about his parents situation and intrigued at knowing more. "You stand for something good Ivory, that shows your strength.. in my opinion.." she would say as she stood up and flashed a random quirky stance, Nova was coming back slowly but surely. "So! Why are we waiting?! Let's go save your father!!" she would say as she was nudged by Noah, laughing sheepishly as she sat back down. "I mean, whether you become the leader or not.. we should still go and help your family.." she said, "I'll stick with you as I always have.." she would add as she smiled between her team. Scratching Noah along his neck, him evidently enjoying it.

As Ivory answered Nova's question, he would listen intently as he was curious. He would explain he wanted to save his father from his tribe, given he was treated as he was. His ears seemed to go flat on his head then, probably thinking on the odds of things. Feralis was all for rescuing his dad and teaching that tribe a lesson, but he would wait to comment once Beta finished his answering. He said he wanted to be a huntsman, and act as a mountain guide. 'Huh, not the answer I expected,' Feralis thought to himself. Becoming a huntsman seemed to be overqualified to be a mountain guide, but then he couldn't talk much given why he came back to become a huntsman himself. And, thinking on it a bit, it strangely fit for the job of a huntsman who wasn't just doing missions for Vale. It definitely seemed like a fitting retiring job or something if you didn't want to go full licensed and active huntsman though. When he added missions to hurt the crimson fang though, that definitely sounded in the huntsman vein and Feralis silently nodded his head. He wanted revenge on them as well. While he wanted to speak about Ivory's plans, he also knew they had to rip off the metaphorical bandage and focus on a new leader as well. SO he would ask why Beta should or shouldn't be a leader first and await that. His...statement was not the most convincing, but just by looking at Ivory it did not seem like he was sure he could be leader. The only good he said about himself was that he was loyal, he would do his best, not let anyone down, and do his best to protect them with his life.
Feralis oddly enough felt like patting him on the back for a moment, but restrained himself as he was unsure. He was not good at being the comforting type, in his mind. Seeing tears in Ivory's eyes, Princess would intervene to say that he stood for something good and that they should already go to save his dad. A bit quick, but Feralis was up for it if anything. Noah seemed to let her know this moment may be a bit too quick as she would laugh and sit back down, saying regardless of if he became leader they should go for his dad and that she will stick with him still. The snow leopard would go to the lake as Feralis watched him a for a few moments before looking to the fire. 'I'm opening old wounds, but the only way to get past them and be better is to face the pain,' he thought to himself, remembering how Mako functioned all those years ago. Feralis would wait for him to come back before speaking. "Say the word and we'll run through your tribe to get your dad. And teach them a lesson or two on what a tribe actually is. And you can count on me to get payback on the crimson fang; they made this personal," he would say confidently with no hesitation. He would pause a moment, taking out his small log and chisel to carve an initial on it. "Plus, you three are stuck with me now for better or worse; I don't feel like going through a new team. Now that we've said what we needed, though, its time to cast the votes," Feralis would add and on bluntly say. He felt no need to prolong for anymore than was needed, and wanted to get the hard part over with. With that said, he would carve the initial of his vote and give it to Noah; keeping it to allow for some anonymity between them even if it would not be too much.

Ivory would splash his face in the cold water. He needed to be careful. He was feeling upset, and gwent would act up if he was. In fact, a gust of wind would rush past the water at a speed. He took a moment to calm himself. When he was ready, he would come back. He could hear what the others were saying. Feralis wasn't leaving, and they wanted to rescue his father. Good, the man deserved to be saved.
He would take the wood and use his clawed hand to cave initials into the wood. He would then hand it to Noah. "Before we go anywhere, I need to upgrade my hand."

Nova would become a little frustrated at the lack of emotion and response from Ivory, however was nudged again by Noah who could evidently tell there was more to it. She would stand up from her space and cough to clear her throat, "My Father was taken from me by the enemy and unfortunately we weren't so lucky and he lost his life.." she would say, holding her arm showing she was a little bit nervous. Noah would stand beside her, showing support as he nuzzled his head under her hand, she would smile and pet her best friend.
"What I'm trying to say is.. since your Dad is alive, you better go keep it that way!" she would say, getting a little too ahead of herself. "I mean, we still have class and stuff.. but we can do this, the four of us!" she said, looking around her team. She would scribble a name onto the wood and give it to Noah, who would take them a few steps away to determine their new leader.
Noah would let out an excited bark and look around to Nova who would then look to Ivory with a grin, "To our new team leader, Ivory!" she would say, smiling at him and the others. "It's what you would have wanted too, Jess.." she would think to herself as she looked into the sky with a smile still on her face.

As Ivory came back and Feralis spoke, he would see Beta be silent for a little bit. Leaving Feralis unsure what was going through his mind, but he would wait and see as Beta would claw his initials into the log and finally speak. He would simply say that before they went anywhere, he needed to upgrade his hand. Feralis would smile wolfishly at that; an eager smile full of teeth. "That will be one of our priorities; we need to make sure we are well equipped to take on a large group," Feralis would say, agreeing with Beta. Soon after, Princess would speak up; talking about how her father was taken by the enemy. Feralis had no clue about that; then again he was only just really learning about his team now. He knew what loss was, just not how to express things well. So he merely gave her a silent and sympathetic nod at such a revelation. Princess would agree though that they needed to save Beta's dad lest he become gone forever, which Feralis was glad they were all on the same page for. How they were going to go about it was another thing entirely though; despite how much bravado and confidence he may have, a whole tribe was a big thing for three people and a wolf pup. He was still confident they would find some way to pull this off though. That much was certain.
As Princess did the last carving and give it to Noah, Feralis would watch curiously with a bit of anticipation on the results. After a moment or two, Noah would determine who was leader; Ivory. While slightly disappointed it was not himself, there was also a bit of relief with it. As far as he could tell himself, either of them would've been good for the role so he had no complaints. Though it did mean one thing of significance. "Congratulations Alpha. You earned the rank," Feralis would simply say, attempting to clap Ivory's shoulder if able. If not he would merely keep his distance with a smile. "With that settled, and future goals in mind, lets cook and feast!" Feralis would announce, stomach growling now that that was all over as it anticipated food. The fire had enough time to be perfect for what they needed; perhaps he got a bit too distracted and should have set them to get ready earlier but oh well. Can't change the past now. Adding the rabbit Alpha got would only make things better.
