It was both a relief and a bit of a disappointment that Jonah dropped the confusion of how many times they’d met before. Of course, Yuuri was sure to silently scold himself for being disappointed in something that could result in his identity being revealed, but he supposed that was a testament to how lonely he’d been.

Was he really willing to risk it all on someone he’d only just met? Two someones, really, if he was counting Misha. At least he knew that they sort of had ties to the Negaverse already, whether they realized it or not.

“Same goes for you,” Yuuri said gently, knowing Jonah was likely offering in order to make sure Yuuri was taken care of, but Jonah had every right to reach out to him too if he needed company or help with anything.

But the cafe definitely was too magical for Yuuri’s tastes. His gaze followed Jonah’s towards the counter, and made a wary expression when he saw the owl sitting on the register.

“Yes, please,” he quickly agreed, and because it would not be polite to leave his drink unfinished, Yuuri quickly gulped down the rest. Only to result in a fury, and flurry, and sneezes and snowflakes.
