Vivian started to clean up the smaller things, putting them back where they were and flipping the tables back. Cleaning was a calming thing for her, so it helped a little bit. She may not have had magic, but she liked to clean and cook. She didn't talk for a bit as she focused on cleaning...and getting her thoughts in order. Once things started to come back to shape, she put the cookie tin on the couch. "W-well...okay...I'll...I'll try..." she started to fidget and bit her lip. It was extremely hard to form the words. "W-well...how do I s-start this...okay well...it's mainly...Magi. Lavi...to preface this...I need this job. I don't have anywhere else to go if I lose what I have here...I've been saving every coin I'm paid to buy a home...and I think Magi caught onto that. At first...he was really nice to me. I'd see him steal a glance every once and a while, he'd talk to me...it was nice. And I...I liked him too. I knew there wouldn't be anything because...well...we both know his purist attitude...but...it was nice to be liked...and to like someone..." Vivian tensed up after a bit. She was finding it very difficult to say what came next. "W-well...then...h-he called me into his office one day...for the first time...he said he just wanted to talk...but...then he used his magic on me and...I-I...I couldn't move...and...and he..." she choked a bit, putting a hand over her mouth. She started to breathe faster. It was hard to speak..."He...he did...things to me...things that...I really don't want to go into...but...he made me do them...repeatedly...and over the last few months and into this year...it's gotten worse...just yesterday he.." she had to stop. She held her head and shut her eyes as the flashes of abuse and worse went through her head. She tried shaking them out, but she couldn't. "I can't go into detail, it'll drive me crazy...so now...he treats me terribly, tells me I'm useless and s**t...but he says he wants me to go with him...I know that a part of him is genuine...but that abusive part...I'm scared of what will happen if I resist...I know he'll kill me Lavi...I'm so scared..." she started to cry and just curled up, letting it all out at that point. She felt terrible...guilty...scared...and more. If Magi figured out she said anything...she was surely going to die. She had no idea what to do other than just confess.

She watched Vivian clean taking mental note of her body language. After Vivian confessed what Magi did to her Lavi crouched down in front of Vivian rubbing Vivian's shoulder in a friendly kind of way . She let her cry as she thought of what to say.
Let me be the first to tell you that the abuse happening to you is terrible and in no way your fault I don't want you to do think that at all. Second he is suppose to be a leader. How can he lead people and be this deplorable.
She said the last bit with a bit of angry, but stopped when she realized that is not what Vivian needed at that point. She needed someone to vent to.
You can't excuse his abusiveness because he is sometimes genuine. If you still want to be with him I would say talk to him. Tell him how you feel and how he's only making you want to pull away. Tell him what you need from him in order to stay. Or just make yourself constantly busy if you don't want to be near him. If he says anything about it tell him you're just trying to effectively do the job you were hired for.

Vivian covered her face as the tears flowed down as she sobbed and sniffled more didn't speak for some time as the crying was making it very hard for her to do just about anything. She looked at Lavi and sniffed, listening to her friends' words. "W-well...you know how he is...he's...well...maybe you don't. Let's just say...there's more than one person upstairs...if you didn't know...it might explain a few things..." she relaxed a tiny bit as she kept talking. She took her shirt and wiped her eyes, now exposing the bruises on her waist from earlier. "He...I know there is one of him that's good...and I know that...but the other ones are...not as great...and I know it's wrong and I know it could be a tactic against me but...I...I don't know what to do with myself Lavi. I keep thinking about that nice part and..." she was making excuses and she knew it. Lavi was right, she needed to make a stand for herself. "N-no...you're right...I...need to communicate some boundaries. For now I...I need space...but with the library closed at the moment...this was my only other place...and look where that got me...I...I just don't feel safe..." she sighed and put a hand on Lavi's hand, trying to calm herself down and stop herself from crying. But it was hard.

She started to frown as Vivian started to defend him. She didn't want her friend to suffer and if she kept making excuse it is bound to lead to serious injure or death. She winced when she caught a glimpse of the bruise on her waist. But when she heard Vivian gain some confidence and say she would stick up for herself it made Lavi smile. She wondered why the library was closed then remembered her tal with the two boys by the lake
Oh yeah the resurrected female dinosaur thingy. (She has no clue about a dead body found in the library and two boys made her more confused. Also she's kinda unintelligent making nonsensical leaps .)
She patted Vivian's hand trying to soothe her and get her to stop crying.
Well you could come to my room. It's a bit of a organized mess but other then that he wouldn't be able to find you there. Plus I would love the company.
She said trying to make it sound like she'd be doing Lavi a huge favor if she came to stay with her so she would feel like she was intruding.

Vivian kept trying to calm herself down. After a little bit though, she looked up at Lavi with a nod. "That sounds n-nice...plus it's better than this... a mess of a place..." she joked and reached over, giving Lavi a hug. She just sniffled a little bit as she hugged her friend tightly. "Thank you...for talking to me...I feel so much better..." she said as they hugged.

She hugged Vivian back. Anytime I love talking to you!
She jumped up a bit excitedly.
It's going to be even better that a girl's night tonight. It'll be a slumber party. I've been to one so this will be so fun. I have candy in my room. Oh and fizzy drinks. We can play games and gossip. It's going to great.
She twirled around a bit.
Oh and no one ever visits me so we won't be interrupted

Vivian smiled and nodded back at her. She hadn't had a slumber party...ever! She didn't know what it was, but hey, she'd give anything a try once. "That sounds fun...I...I don't think I've ever done a slumber party before. Do I need to prepare anything?" she asked as she got up as well. Maybe she'd need a change of clothes. For the first time in a long time, she felt genuinely happy. She had so much built up she didn't realize the weight of it all. Confiding in Lavi was probably the best thing she could have done for herself in recent time. "Well...what are we waiting for then..." she said as she went to the door.

Vivian nodded and quickly went into her bedroom and grabbed a pair of jammers. Then she got her toothbrush from the bathroom, cause of dental hygiene. And finally, the tin from before. It still had cookies in it! She followed after Lavi after that, excited for whatever was going to happen! "Okay! I'm coming!" she called out. (exit)
