“Nothing good as far as I know on the hospital... but, it’s a good thought about the others.” He huffed. “I’ll see what I can find.” He nodded. “If it’s journalism worthy- maybe You can have fun with it, clear the idea that he jumped.”

Arnica was considering it for a moment and nodded. "Yeah, I could do that. I mean, he's lucky--so far as I can tell, no one's given his name to the press so it's not been published. Most of the time there's a bit of privacy if it was a suicide attempt, but if it slips that he was pushed--well then. That's when you have to worry about the news. If you want to drop me his contact information at any point in time, maybe see if he wants to do an interview..."
Arnica shrugged. "I don't have to publish anything. Now, I just want to know the who, what, where, when and why. But I'll ask around, I'll see if anyone I know was in the area. At the very least, if you could figure out if anyone picked up on an energy signature, you might be able to know what group it was that's harassing you."

He thought and then shook his head. “Yeah, no I think he wouldn’t, he sounded like the quiet sort.” He murmured and hoped it didn’t sound too personal. “That’s a good idea about uh... signatures too, I’ll add that to my line of questions.” He gave a thumbs up.

Arnica nodded and gestured to the card he'd handed Parisite. "Well, if he changes his mind or is ever open to the idea of a few questions, you've got my card, let me know. I'd make time for that. But I'll ask around and see if anyone knows anything. In the meantime, you should be careful. If you don't know what's going on--if someone knows your name and is using it against you, you might be better off going by something else for the time being. Just in case. Last thing you want is to introduce yourself to someone else who is looking for 'Parisite' too."

Parisite’s has dropped for a moment and then snapped closed again with a snap of teeth and a series of curses. “Damnit.” He finally said more clearly. “I’m an idiot, I didn’t think of that.” He swept a hand over his hair pushing some of the loose of it back from his face. “Like all this wasn’t mad enough now I have to worry about creeps pretending to be me. That’s got to be a first.” “I wish they’d given a description, it would help me narrow this down.”

"If you can get in contact with the guy he threw again, you should. Make up a story if you have to. People are always desperate to believe what they want to hear. If you're close enough, tell him you saw something weird, see what you can get out of him. That you saw some guy on a roof and it felt like he was just watching you, or you were coming home one night and every time you looked around some guy was there. People are more loose lipped if they think you've got something in common, and when they're worried or if they think they can help. You might be able to get something out of him like that?"
He shrugged. "Sometimes people remember more after the fact. Not always. But if they think they can help, sometimes they can push themselves more. It's worth trying, to see if you can get anything else out of him. If you do, give me a heads up and I'll look for that description, too."

He bit his lip and nodded, wondering if he approached in uniform, how that might go. He didn’t want to upset Praim, and random strangers dropping in to ask questions was… hit or miss at best he suspected. But it was also an interesting idea, what if there were things HE was afraid to share? “Yeah… good thought.” He offered. “I’ll uh… text you if I think of an alternate name too. Um… When you say there’s a whole… world inside mirrors. Should I be concerned about mirrors in my… where I live?” He considered quite a lot of changes he might be making if that were remotely true.

Arnica nodded at first, pleased to expect communication; now that his interest was piqued, he really wanted to forget about draining energy and just see if he couldn't dig up some information about this new mystery.
"No, not unless you've had a Dark Mirror Senshi in your house. I can only go somewhere that I've been before, where there's a mirror. I've never seen or heard anything else coming out of the mirror, except for a Dark Mirror Senshi, but I think you're safe. Mostly, they're just how we travel. But it's like there's a between place, between one mirror and the next. It's just a big labyrinth, always shifting and changing."

“... That, sounds like Alice in Wonderland meets Labyrinth. As long as you don’t have goblins I guess.” He looked thoughtful. “.... I guess it’s good you can only go where you’ve been before. I can just imagine someone falling out of a ceiling mirror in some cheep hotel and making a really odd surprise.” He gave a soft chuckle and then quickly tied to stop it. “Sorry...” he muttered.

The comment had dragged a grin to Arnica's face and he laughed, shaking his head. "Please, that would be horrible. Especially for new Dark Mirror Senshi who can't control it. But some of the older members of the Court have said that weird things happen often enough to just try to roll with it, so. There's still time to ruin someone's romantic evening."
He shuddered at the thought, already embarrassed for the hypothetical malfunction.
"I don't think you can count the wraiths as goblins, but. They're something, all right. Freaky little things."

“Wraith? Is that like those uh… Youma things we …have?” He hadn’t really interacted with those, and he didn’t mean to any time particularly soon but it was an odd thought. Sort of like being told the monster under the bed was in fact …real, and that you got to fight side by side with it if you were so inclined, or rather if they were since apparently, they might still eat you instead. He wasn’t at all sure that the last part wasn’t pulling his leg but he also didn’t want to find out.

Arnica considered for a few seconds and then clarified, "The wraiths are...yeah, kind of like youma. But," he shook his head. "They come out of the mirror. They're just wispy things. We can't pull energy like you can, but the wraiths dart around and gather energy. They're brittle, like glass, when they're full of it, and they have to go back to Mirrorspace. I'd show you, but if I bring one out, it'll get pissy if it doesn't have energy to drain and I'm not going to give it yours."
He clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth. "Too bad they're not a little more agreeable. They'd have been good help in spying on people. You almost can't even see them when they haven't drained any energy. But, they're not so good at planning or listening to orders, if we're being honest. Sort of just 'see energy, gather energy, leave'. But, on the plus side, not as horrifying as youma?"

“Can they take the energy we collect or is that like… crossing wires for them?” He said curiously. “Also…fair. Nothing is going to be quite so creepy as being attacked by crazy mother ******** who dress like a victorian cinnamon stick though, not gonna lie.” He hesitated. “I mean, might depend on the Youma but that got pretty personal.”

"Sounds like you've got a story behind that and it makes me feel like I've been lucky not to run into anyone wielding a cinnamon stick. The youma just creep me out, sometimes they just show up and you've got no idea they were there. Makes me wonder if they were always there, or how many times I was close to being some youma food before I powered up. I don't know how I never noticed them--I mean, really noticed them--before I was powered up, compared to now."
He exhaled, wondering how bad this youma infestation really was.
"I don't think the wraiths can take the same energy you take--I think they have to jump through someone. Would make my job much easier if I could just send them out to take energy that was already drained, but I suspect the Negaverse would get tired of the Dark Mirror Court real fast if we started doing that."

“I haven’t noticed a lot of them, yet I have to admit, maybe I’m just lucky, or maybe I’m just focusing on other things.” He admitted. It was true; he had enough monsters in his life without those at least looked the part. “Also, uh…not wielding a cinnamon stick, he blew like, a fist full of it in my face, that s**t gets everywhere like you just end up breathing awful orange fire and your eyes water… and well yeah it sucks.” He shrugged and looked thoughtful. “Do they knock people out, or do you feel tired after? Have civilians ever noticed?” He was half wondering if that meant he’d had them drain him during a workday, to be honest, but it wasn’t like he could fault them for it. He’d never fallen over on a hot pan after all.
