Mimicking Danika's motions, Vermina's fingers circled the light mug to let the warmth of the tea chase off the morning chill from her slim digits. Taking a sip, she gave another hum of delight as the tea further chased off the chill from within. This bag contained a much lighter blend than she had been expecting, but it was still good. She kept her sips small as well, letting the tea steep a little longer to taste as as the strength grew.
"I can't blame them for being passionate about thanking you. It may be your duty, but it is a duty that requires much of your time and effort, and it ends in such a gift for everyone. The younglings blooming here might be getting more common, but it is still a wonder to see the goddess granting these special children." She looked down into her cup of tea bashfully. Thoughts teased at the edges of her mind, but she wasn't quite ready to bring those up yet... "This is still new for everyone. You are truly a part of something wonderful, my love.."

Danika flushed slightly at the words from Vermina. "You truly have a gift of touching others." She replied quietly as she plucked at the string connected to the teabag and used it to move the parcel in and out of the tea. Her gaze was fixated on the dark swirls that left the bag before merging with the rest of the brew. How did one reply to that? "We are all a part of something wonderful, I feel." She finally replied as she peeked up towards Vermina with a small smile. "I couldn't bloom all of these little ones by myself. Just like Aisha they need the love of Azehra along with their own pure desires to be blessed. Who would have believed that our race could grow so beautifully? I wonder how all of our cousins are faring..." They were fortunate and thriving here on Chiume so Danika could only hope that the Elaria and their new tree was doing well too. Not that she could check on that tree as freely as this one. Even with a peace treaty Danika had the feeling that her presence would not be so welcomed at the Elarian's trees save for when it was absolutely necessary, something which could happen in the future considering how much more Danika knew about the trees than others. Or perhaps she was wrong and maybe one day she would see the fourth tree that had been planted across the great ocean in the strange new islands full of the underwater races. Aisha had already surprised Danika once by gifting her with a family and taking her to Chiume so who was to say what the rest of the future held for the young mystic and her family? Though honestly Danika was finding that she was falling in love with Chiume and it would be hard to leave when the day came. She missed Chibale but it truly felt as if she had a second home here in Chiume. The thought made her look towards Vermina before asking quietly. "If relations stay open like this do you believe that all of our cousins can visit each other one day without hesitation? I will always consider Aisha the great mother but these new trees are her children too." Why divide something so pure when they could be so much stronger together?

She did? Vermina's gaze sank bashfully back into her cup, focusing on the bag floating so lazily in the dark liquid. "Everything is a group effort, but some individuals contribute more than others," she said with a little chuckle. After another sip of the tea, she smiled and pulled the bag out. It tasted perfect at that level of strength with the honey!
The question made her look up with interest. She took another, much longer sip of tea and sighed as the heat spread through her torso. It was warm and soothing, and made her feel open to the world. "One day... yes." she looked to Danika with a warmer smile. "It will be slow, but the borders are already opening up. Aisha's seeds are spreading.. and we should no longer hesitate to follow her example. Don't you think?"

"Fair enough." Danika found herself shifting closer to Vermina as she sat down next to the table. Hearing Vermina's words and drinking the tea helped a warmth to spread throughout her chest. It truly was looking like their worlds were changing and hopefully for the better indeed. "I would love to think so. Already so much has changed and to think that several races have bloomed now from the spreading of one tree." She agreed after a long pause, her gaze focused on the teacup in her hands while her antenna twitched thoughtfully. Their race was spreading in various ways and forms yet Danika felt like they were all connected in a sense to the great mother. Cousins indeed. She smiled at the thought before raising her gaze to meet Vermina's own. "It appears that this relaxing morning turned into some sincere meditation." Slight amusement reflected in her voice as she took another careful sip of tea and allowed its warmth to spread through her body. It did wonders to chase away the morning's chill and Danika was thoroughly enjoying both the spiced scent and the flavor. Mornings like these with Vermina were nice and Danika was forever grateful for her company, especially since she could speak her mind freely and without fear when they were alone together like this.

She would never have thought that she would have had a front row seat to the entire fabric of the world changing. Vermina nodded and settled herself against Danika, leaning gently to snuggle close. Whatever changes came, they would be facing those changes together. The observation made her chuckle lightly. "I have noticed that this happens to our conversations on occasion." Of course, she didn't mind it. Their conversations were able to take such interesting and stimulating paths. She loved being able to go down each path with Danika...
