"Redleaf?" She furrowed her brow for a moment, but just as quickly shrugged her shoulders. It wasn't her favorite, but she could stomach it for the night. "Don't see why not. As long as we can toss some elderberry oil ontop."

And then, just like that, bam! There it was! The rare bit of excitement from Lioe! It was so random that Ujana almost didn't register it, but when she did....oh, she couldn't stop smiling! "Well, let's go there first! That way we can make sure to get a good one before someone else does." She hadn't had plumby cake since she was a kid, and honestly wasn't even sure what it tasted like anymore. Maybe it would be a fun way to reminisce?

"Is it okay if I hold your hand? It's getting pretty busy out here and I don't want to lose you."

Taking that as a sign of good faith, Ujana reached out to clasp Lioe's hand in her own and offered the boy a little squeeze. She passed a few shop vendors that she'd known for years and offered them a little wave, but each time one beckoned her closer she made a little excuse to keep them moving. Too much exposure might cause Lioe to retreat and getting their food stuffs first seemed the best course of action.

"Maybe we can get the plumby cake for dinner and a couple muffins for now? Annnnd maybe we don't tell papa about it? Just a little treat for us."

Lioe's soft little thank you was enough to melt Ujana from within. She may have been a professional brawler, the family wild child (though that was being tested everyday by Isaia), and a bar owner, but she could get the warm fuzzies too. It was nice getting to spend time with him, even if she did have to meet him at his level with little compromise.
