SHe was glad she looked back to check on the girl. As soon as she did she noticed that she was going down. Riya reacted almost instantly. A step to the side and she reached out with one arm to grab Koia by the coat. "I got ya!" The sudden weight gain caused her to grunt but she managed to stay on her feet.
It took her a minute to make sure she wasn't going to fall over herself before she spoke again. "Alright.. slowly get to your feet and don't let go of me." It seemed like this was going to be a bit trickier than she thought.

She thought for sure she was going to slide all the way down to the bottom and mess things up but Riya snagged hold of her. She felt the jerk on the coat and made a strangled noise but was fine otherwise. She looked up at her guide and smiled. "Thank you."
When she was instructed to get up and keep a hold on Riya she nodded her head and slowly turned so that she could get to her feet. Once she was generally in that position she reached out and grasped Riya's arm so that she had some leverage. "Sorry about that.. I miss stepped." Ejskoia felt slightly foolish about it too.

She waited and watched as Koia got to her feet. The apology was met with a nod of her head. "Its alright, these slopes can be tricky." She was just glad they both didn't go sailing down the side. It would be bad if they went too far or started a mini avalanche. Not to mention they could easily be separated that way. Then she'd have to go searching for the wind girl.
"Alright, keep your hand on me so you don't get lost or fall." After that she slowly continued on down the slope making sure to keep her hand out behind her in case Koia slipped again.

Knowing that her guide wasn't mad about her small slip up made her smile. Ejskoia was pleased to know that at least she wasn't going to get yelled at for her small mistake. Another nod and she did as told. She kept a grip on Riya's arm so that she didn't fall again. "Thank you.. Again." She felt that letting the woman know she was appreciated wouldn't hurt, after all without her this could have been a lot worse.
"I'll have to repay you somehow." She had no money on her to spare so she would have to think of something else that would be enough.

They just reached the bottom of the slope when she heard the girl say thank you again. She nodded her head and looked at her again, this time with a smile. "Its alright." She wasn't so heartless that she would leave someone alone in the cold. Especially a foreigner. And one without a coat at that.
"Don't worry about that. Just getting you somewhere safe will be reward enough." She nodded her head then continued on. They still needed to get to Mez before it got dark or the weather decided it wanted to make them stranded.
