“You’re not wrong.” Replied Danika quietly. “I suppose I am just still in shock that my path is venturing so far from what others walked before. Aisha truly had some plans indeed whenever my bloom came from her branches.” The mystic shook her head. “I just don’t know how I’m supposed to meet everyone’s expectations all the time. It would be much easier to run away and try a lot of those sweets you speak of.”

“You have a gentle spirit that shines a light so bright that it awes everyone.” Replied Tyiva honestly. “I would not worry so much about failing anyone’s expectations and rather just be yourself, Danika. You’re so full of love and life that I’m certain your presence alone will inspire others to do better and teach our new cousins what love is. Aisha has her light and even if these are new trees I consider them daughters of Aisha as well. She’s the founder of all of our races and without her original blooms none would exist.”
“Though I don't know those sweets are rather tempting, I think you’ll be fine.” She added with a small, playful wink.

Danika felt her chest warm at Tyiva’s supportive words. “Thank you.” She whispered as her eyes burned at the sincerity of her friend’s compliments. Did others truly see her that way? Was she really that inspiring? The thought made her lips curl upwards into a small, almost shy, smile before Tyiva’s tease made her laugh. “I’ll try my best to not let the sweets lead me astray.” She managed as she squeezed Tyiva’s hand in appreciation.

“You better not.” Replied Tyiva playfully before she grew somber once more. “Honestly if they can all learn love and not late hate rule their hearts like the extremists and their elaria then I think our world can continue this peace. It’s a hope that is fueled on love and coexistence, not hatred and conquest. Such vile thoughts have only ever spurned wars after all.”
“As it is, would you want to spend another afternoon together? We can catch up while we both brace ourselves for the challenges to come.”

“I agree.” Danika replied quietly, “I feel that Aisha condones hatred and would rather see the races thrive. It’s why she allows hybrids to bloom but I know that such words are still not accepted by many of the elders and even some of the newer generations hold themselves with pride. I suppose we will only have to wait and see where the next generations take us.” She gave a slight shrug of her shoulders before nodding at Tyiva’s suggestion. “Let’s do that. I could use a distraction so tell me all about your children and the last few years in Oba….”
