"Professional gardeners are over-rated and too expensive. If I can re-do my back yard all by my lonesome and end up with a cute little bower, I'm sure I could do the same for my wonder."
And the mental image of her as-yet-unseen wonder becoming a wilderness of blooming flowers was breathtaking. And something she would make sure came to pass one day. And here was Athalia telling her that he'd been to his own homeworld! And not only gone but that he'd sensed something dormant... Wonderful stuff!
"The sleeper will awaken," she murmured, shamelessly swiping from a book that she'd read. Then, with twinkling eyes, she adopted a solemn expression in response to his wink and joking. "Well, naturally mine would be better, but I'm happy to prove it. However would be hold the swimsuit competition though?"
The twinkle in her eyes dimmed a little as he continued and she held up both hands to show that she hadn't any ring. Yet.
"I know knights can communicate using their rings," she explained. "And I know there are ways to allow us to use them to communicate with senshi. But without a ring, I'm afraid I have to rely on random encounters and more primitive message drops. What about arranged meetings once in a while? Like, oh, once a month on the last full moon sort of thing?"
She seemed pleased with her idea and beamed. Scheduled meet-ups would do until she found her ring. And really, until she found the silly little thing, she didn't have a whole lot of choice or options. Still, she wanted to end this meeting on a happy note since she'd decided she thrived better living cheerfully.
Holding out her hand with a smile, she said earnestly, "I'm so gad I met you, Athalia! You've given me a lot to think about and I appreciate that so much!"
