He was relieved to see that some of that clearness of thought was remaining, but it wasn't much anymore. It was still more than she had boasted earlier. Tac frowned slightly when Nadiya sat down. It took him a moment to realize she was presenting her hair rather than trying to ignore him. At least, he thought that was her main reason for sitting with her back to him. When he stood, he couldn't help noting how she curled up like a youngling trying to protect herself from something. Fear? Pain?
He brushed his fingers lightly through her hair, methodically parting it to look for any injuries she might have sustained during that panic attack. He could see the indents where fingernails had dug into the skin, and a couple of those had a little blood beading up over them. She really wasn't feeling any of this? At least this part was something he knew how to fix though. He gently pressed his fingertips to her skin and sent out the warm healing magic to seal up the tiny wounds. "Perhaps it would be best to keep your nails short until you have sorted through.. this," he offered, utterly confounded as to what "this" actually was.

Nadiya tensed as the Yaeli started to inspect her scalp. Eventually though she grew accustomed to the methodical movements that combed through her hair and the touch of magic made her shoulders relax even more. As the warmth flooded through her body the Matori found herself slowly falling backwards, her head eventually resting on his knees once the scratches healed. Weeks of being studied by others, of just trying to rouse herself from bed and of dealing with the hassle of her family's concerns had exhausted the singer. So many attempts had been made but every time something seemed to push her back to the silent state that she couldn't seem to conquer.
It was strange though but she could find herself relaxing in this little moment, her lashes fluttering against her cheeks as she fought to keep her eyes open while resting her head against the warm lap of the Yaeli doctor. It wasn't fair and it wasn't him but there was just some part of her aching heart that was so desperate that it clung to whatever comforts it could, even if they were just illusions that made her nostalgic for another.

While it wasn't helping the main problem, he was somewhat relieved to see that Nadiya was relaxing a little further. Once the scrapes were healed, Tac's eyes turned to see his bag still sitting in the main area of the room. He would just have to get up and- what?
He was taken aback when the woman seemed to topple back against him, instinctively helping her head down gently. Of course, there was no other space than his lap, and he sat there feeling mildly flustered. She looked about ready to fall asleep! "Here now, sit back up a moment and I can get you a cushion to rest your head on. It will be more comfortable for you." Surely his knobby knees were anything but cozy.

Just a moment longer. Nadiya's lashes fluttered lazily as she shifted against the makeshift pillow, her head feeling so heavy. The spiced scent of her tea drifted in the air around them and Nadiya found herself feeling so very, very exhausted. Even though there were words spoken around her the Matori couldn't quite grasp them and she found herself actually falling asleep in the warm afternoon sunlight. Her lips parted slightly a soft sigh escaping as her eyes fully closed and Nadiya found herself forgetting everything once more as sleep gently carried her away.

"Miss...? It would be better if you rose.." he tried to encourage again, but to no avail. It seemed the woman really was just going to fall asleep right there. He looked back inside, but Nyki was nowhere in sight to assist. While he would normally have simply raised her head and scooted out, he found himself reluctant to disturb whatever mental peace Nadiya had seemed to find.
He had gotten zero answers from this initial visit, but he was still outright intrigued. Perhaps he would entertain a second visit, hopeful that she would be at least a little more comfortable and open the next time around.
For now, he sat still until he was certain Nadiya was asleep. Once she was, he carefully shifted her head and slid out from under her. He had more patients to get to, after all. Now that he had an idea of what the symptoms were, he also had more research to do.
A most intriguing case, indeed.
