"Yes, that works." He did, for a moment, feel bad about disappointing her but he really wasn't interested in parties. One on one or small groups he could handle but not when they got loud even, it got draining and tiring fast.

"it seems like it, from what little I can tell of my side. I'd rather be on the side with some organization." As he disliked a lack of organization. he worked in a field where it was needed. He couldn't go ******** up a tattoo on a person. Things were done in order and set up ahead of time and it had to be done that way. He just didn't like not having a plan or lacking a clue on what was going on and how to go about doing things. "Branches...interesting." That was something he'd look into, perhaps ask about before or right after changing sides. He hadn't thought to ask about something like that.

"I do - I'm glad for that. I'll need it I'm sure." He just hoped he could gather a small, comfortable, group to have at his back and side, who wouldn't push him to being social and were ok with him being him...even if it meant he didn't call often, preferred texting, and tended to forget about his friends from time to time. Maybe this one would become one such friend, even if she seemed the opposite of what he wanted. He had a feeling she might be accommodating as well....at least he hoped.

"I would like that." He would indeed. For a moment he wondered what she meant before he shook his head. "No, I don't think magic can do this. No, I had someone cut my ears and reshape them - ear pointing it's called. It's a form of body modification. I'm a tattoo artist..." Maybe he shouldn't say that...she could use it to find him. Even though the city was big he was sure not many tattoo artists, who were male and asian, had their ears pointed. it would make him easy to find. But who cared really?

"After I change side we can be friends...and I can show you my work if you want."

Sylvite was actually quiet for a second, thinking about offices and paperwork and the rank system. Then, she nodded. "Yeah, if you want organization, we've got that for sure." She chewed on the inside of her cheeks as she thought some more. "I don't know if that would have been a selling point for me, back when I first joined up, but now I like it. It's gotta be better than, like, not having anyone to help you figure out what's going on."

She was still looking almost serious with all her energy going into digging her fingernails into a gap at the edge of the roof, and now her brows came together just a little, because she really was sorry he'd ended up on the side with no structure and that he was gonna have to go through all this to fix it.

She did crack a smile again as he explained his ears, though. "Oh, okay," she said, gripping the side of the roof even tighter to keep herself from leaning into his personal space. "I've seen that online before, but never in real life. It looks awesome. And you're a tattoo artist, too?"

Her smile faltered when he mentioned waiting until after he corrupted, but she nodded. "Yeah, I guess we shouldn't talk about this stuff too much yet, but I wanna hear all about it, later! I like art stuff." Obviously, body mods counted as art stuff.

She paused, then asked, "Can I write you a note or something? So you remember me?"

"It's not the most common of things - ear pointinig. I mean the tattoo and piercing community is big...but modification, scarification, ear pointing, tongue splitting....that's a smaller community." Plus it took more money and time plus not as many people performed such things, not to mention it was illegal in some places. It was not easy to get done. "Yeah, I'm a tattoo artist. I couldn't have found a better job." He was an artist who enjoyed all sorts of art. He now got to work with it all the time, even if some clients drove him nuts and stressed him out.

"Of course. We can talk all about art when I'm on your side. I think I'd enjoy that....a lot. I think I'll need it in fact." Especially since finding a job might be hard. He wouldn't have his old files and such to hand over when applying for a job. Some artists, especially locally, knew each others work. He'd have to be careful and he knew it. He was working on a whole new notebook to offer up when trying for a job...but he couldn't show that he'd already been inking people - he couldn't show that work. He'd be stuck as an apprentice again.

"Of course. I think I'd like that. If we can be friends....if I'm not alone." Even if he wasn't much for being social people were still people and they were still, to a point, all social. He needed some people. This was going to be starting over again with no one but Wolframite. "I think we can become good friends."

Shifting closer to her as he sat there, taking a few moments to himself. "Between Wolframite and you I'll at leave have a foundation. I won't be all on my own. Even now I at least have my co-workers. Even if I'm not the most social they are still there." And he'd lose them. They were really his only friends but they were there.

"If you ever want a tattoo....if it's something I can do I will. I like to decorate people and cover them in art. I think it's an honor for someone to have my work on them for life. It's a lot of trust to allow that." It was why he looked so highly at tattoos and tattoo artists. It wasn't some lowly art form like some people thought...and it certainly wasn't trash, though some artists and pieces might be trash.

Sylvite nodded along while he talked a little bit more about ear pointing and she dug around in her subspace pocket. Most of her Information records went straight onto her communication tablet, but that had some limits so she kept a couple of stationary things in her pocket just in case.

Eventually, she pulled out a pen and a pack of sticky notes that were shaped like frogs. She took one off, then wrote,

Miyamoto,

Remember, I wanna be your friend and to talk about art stuff.

~Sylvite

Then she passed it over. "Here," she said. "To help you remember. I don't want you to have to be alone, either." She smiled at that in a way that was almost softer. She liked him already. The Shakespeare jokes and the fact the fact that he'd been willing to cut up his ears to look like a fairy were enough to make sure of that.

She blinked at his offer. "Like, for an example?" she asked. He'd need those if he had to start a new life, wouldn't he? "Woah. I've always thought that tattoos were kinda cool, but it's a lot of pressure, too. How do you decide on something that's gonna be on your body forever? Sometimes I can barely decide what I want for breakfast."

She ran a thumb over her wrist absentmindedly. "I get what you mean about decorating people, though. Not quite like that, but I'm a fashion student. I'm always making clothes and jewelry, and it's really cool, seeing people wear it."

She didn't think that was giving too much away. There were bunches of people in her classes.

Watching her pull out the frog shaped note pad he was surprised when she pulled off a piece and handed it to him, with a note written on it. Reading it over he nodded his head. "I'll keep this on me, I don't want to forget." They would surely talk art things more once he changed sides - he knew it. Knowing there were at least two people now who would be waiting for him, who would work with him, made him less scared for changing sides...it felt less lonely.

"I do asian tattoos and water color. For me, when deciding what I want,m I think about what means the most to me and has for the longest time...something that has called me to me for a long time. So my back done with a cherry blossom tree, fu dog and the moon with the jade rabbit. For me it means something and some of it's meant something to me since I was a child." And it still did in the case of the jade rabbit. "I know other people are different...some get peoples names...pictures of people or they get things they like at the moment. It's forever, like you said, so I try and keep that in mind when it comes to myself." Though he was a bit young for getting inked and making such a life long choice he'd put thought into it...approached it in, what he felt, was a mature way.

"I think that's cool. I can appreciate creativity in that form also, especially jewelry." Since he had enough holes in his ears, he just didn't wear anything in those holes when he was powered up. "I'd say we do similar things...just mine lasts a life time and is a bit different. But it's still decorating the human body and showing personality to the world..." And he did like that. he liked artists of various sorts...because he drew inspiration from art in the traditional sense but he also appreciated other forms of art. She did do like him - decorate the body and use it as a canvas of sorts. Her's could come off at the end of the night, unlike his, but it was still the best way to decorate yourself and show your personality to everyone even before you spoke.

"I think we'll make good friends." He was sure of it. He was, dare he say it, even a bit excited for the change to come. They could talk more freely and he could show her his work and he could see hers in return. Yes, he liked this idea very much.

"Asian tattoo?" asked Sylvite with a head tilt. Asia was kinda big, wasn't it? Like a fourth of the world by territory and more than that by the number of people living there. She didn't know if they'd just have one type of tattoo. "Is that, like, Sanrio characters, or calligraphy, or is it pictures of the Great Wall of China? What's a fu dog?"

She wasn't sure how much of that she would feel okay having on her body. Characters, maybe, but something in another language? Yeah, she ate tons of pocky and spent a lot of time drooling while window shopping new looks from Harajuku, but she knew she was still super white and American.

"I like the watercolor ones, though," she said, the smile coming back. "Would it be weird to get something just because it's pretty?" That was how she picked out most of the stuff in her life, and while none of her clothes and decorations were really permanent, she did try to make them last. That stuff cost money to replace.

She nodded when he said fashion was cool, and kicked her feet again. "Yeah! I started with jewelry, actually, kinda at the kids craft level, but I never stopped. I've been doing fancier beadwork and macrame for a couple years now, and I just took a class on wire wrapping, which you can use to make really polished looking stuff."

Although she had to admit that she still had a soft spot for her simple, colorful friendship bracelets.

"Think koi fish, kanji, sakura trees and traditional Japanese tattoos." Not that you couldn't say dragons and fu dogs, as well as other creatures, weren't also Chinese. Most of them were similar and shared between the two cultures. "There are a lot of rules but in traditional but it's not always a thing." It wasn't always followed, because you weren't always going traditional. But it was a rather large range of things to work with.

"No, I think you should always get something which will look good on your body. It's there forever and it does decorate the body - so it should look pretty. It would be odd to get something that doesn't look good or is down right ugly." Though peoples thoughts on what was pretty was different, as different as people themselves, but that was his general opinion.

"That sounds interesting...it's certainly a lot of work." He couldn't picture doing some of what he'd seen. He'd seen some pretty intense, and elaborate, pieces and she was able to do some wire wrapping jewelry? Impressive. "I don't know what macrame is..."

"Koi are pretty," said Sylvite, her focus still off in the distance somewhere. She was flipping through ideas in her head. Hearts were cute, and went with everything. She could get something to represent her fashion studies, or maybe her family. There was a lot, way to much to think through tonight.

"I dunno," she said, sort of snapping back into reality, "But I'll figure it out for when you come over, okay?" That line was delivered with a little bit of a sly smile. She had do leave something as, like, collateral or a prize for him coming over.

It wasn't exactly how she was expecting this conversation to go, but the one thing that she had figured out tonight was that she would apparently get a tattoo if it meant she could tempt someone to her side, or at least make them feel more comfortable about joining the Negaverse.

Her smile brightened when he asked about her work. "Macrame is threadwork. Knotwork. You know those friendship bracelets you can get the kits for?" She curled a hand around her wrist to demonstrate, even though she didn't have any bracelets with this outfit. "That's the very basic kind. I've been making those all the time since I was pretty little. It kinda helped me focus before those fidget spinners came out." It had also helped, of course, after they had gotten banned. "But there's a lot of way fancier stuff you can do with it, especially when you get beads and stones involved."

With wirework, it was easy to make things look put together and elegant, but thread would probably always be her favorite. It was easier to get the bright colors she liked that way.

"I agree, I like them." He always had. He liked ones with all three of the major colors, red, white and black. They were the brightest and he preferred them as he found them less boring. He knew he had family still in Japan, how much he didn't know, and he had as a child wondered if any of them had koi fish ponds. He couldn't own a koi - they got too big.

"Alright. And when you figure out what you want - I'll ink it for free. It'll be a gift." He'd pay for it, so it wouldn't be free...just free to her. He didn't mind doing something like that,. he had money in savings that would cover a tattoo for someone. He always had some money in savings so he could get more ink or a piercing or...well when he got his ears done. He'd saved up more than he'd needed.

"Those? That's macrame? It was popular for a while when I was in...fourth grade I think. Half the girls were making them and every female was wearing them." At least it seemed like that, and it was really close to the truth. "Interesting....I think stones would be more interesting but that's just me. I don't think I could do something like that. I prefer drawing...I used to do that a lot in class." While she had her knotwork and friendship bracelets he'd had books filled with drawings. "It helped me get my thoughts and creativity out. I was also imagining things and I had to put it all to paper somehow." Because school was boring and the piano wasn't much better, though that took more talent and creativity than school work.

It seemed like she'd always been the sort to have a lot of energy. Where as he'd always been the one lost in his imagination and needing to put it to paper and pencil.

Sylvite blinked.

"Free? That's really sweet." That was generous. Like, really, really generous. She was starting to learn enough about the business side of art that it might be a little too generous, especially for a guy who was about to have to start a bunch of things from scratch. On the other hand, she hadn't exactly been saving up for a tattoo or even thinking about it at all until right now.

"What about, like, an art trade?" She glanced at his ears again. "Do you have any piercings? I could make you jewelry." That seemed to go hand in hand with tattoos a lot of the time, for some reason. "Something wire- you seem like a metal guy, right? Something with nice stones." For him, she could put a little bit of money into it. She raised an eyebrow, and her smile shifted to more or a smirk. "So basically I won't make you look like a fourth grader."

She might still be into the over-saturated kidcore stuff, but she knew it wasn't everyone's thing.

"Although macrame's more than that, too. There's like, cute boho earrings, crazy complicated fantasy necklaces, even wall hangings." Mostly wall hangings, if she was being honest. "The wall hangings are weirdly popular."

"An artist trade...I like that." He really did. He could do that, though he'd still have to pay something for any ink he put to the females skin. He wouldn't mind though, not in the slightest. "Take some time and come up with an idea and a style. I'll work with you to draw it out as soon as I change sides. I'll make you something amazing." It would be the first piece in his new portfolio, since he wouldn't be able to use his old one.

"I'll make a masterpiece for you." Nodding his head at her words he smiled. "I do but I could always use more earrings. I like to have options." Since he had a dozen holes between his two pointed ears. He liked to play with designs and colors and have fun. "I am a metal sort, silver tones and gemstones...I like blues and greens. Red isn't bad either...like a deeper, warmer, red shade." Laughing he nodded his head. "Yes, I'd like to avoid looking like a child again. I'm afraid I was stuck with a rather bad bowl cut and glasses when I was a child." He'd even packed up some pictures of that, just for the memories. He'd come far though - really far. Long hair and pointed ears, taller, and no glasses in sight.

"Fantasy necklaces...? You'll need to show me this all at some point. I think we need to sit down and show and tell and talk about art - our personal art styles. We can get some food and sit down and chat." Once he'd changed sides. It would be a good idea and something comfortable and cozy while they talked about what seemed to be their favorite topic - art.

It looked like he was going to come into the Negaverse with a friend or two and plans made with someone even. This wasn't what he expected but he was glad for it.

Sylvite nodded. Ninety percent of her excitement was still held in her fingers, which were now flittering and tapping against the edge of the roof as she was thinking about all the pretty things in the world that there were to choose from for her tattoo, and ideas for his jewelry on top of it.

She was gonna have several Pinterest boards started before the night was over.

"Yeah, that sounds really nice," she said. "I'm looking forward to seeing your style!" The thought of having someone's masterpiece on her, like, all the time? When he phrased it like that, all careful and serious, it made her fingers flutter even faster. "Food is good. I always love food, and, oh, I could bring you some material samples to look over. Style pictures, too. We can look at the fantasy necklaces, for sure." She hadn't actually tried making any of the most complicated designs yet, but she'd been working up to it, especially recently. Doing something for a friend was just the inspiration she needed. She wanted to make a masterpiece, too.

She took a longer, more serious look at his face, trying to memorize the exact color of his skin and hair. "I was just thinking that you'd look good in silver! I can keep my eye out for stones in your favorite colors while you're getting ready to come over."

Her hands slowed, and she took a deep breath. "But I guess we can't really talk about anything more specific until then, huh?" She'd probably already given away way more of her civilian details than she was supposed to. Not that she minded, exactly, but there were gonna have to be some limits until he was wearing black.

"Silver looks better on me." He tended to get silver colored earrings, the stones if there were any varied, but it was almost always silver. He wasn't the sort to wear gold and rose gold just didn't look good on him...too feminine if you asked him. Rose gold also looked too close to gold for his taste. Silver was fancier, in his opinion, but also managed to look more casual than gold did. "I think you'll like my style." He really did, he'd make sure she did! He was confident he could make something she'd like.

"I'm looking forward to going over samples and ideas with you as well." Two artists talking art...that was an amazing idea. He couldn't wait for it, and that said a lot considering how introverted he tended to be.

"As soon as I change over I'll find you - or you'll find me." He'd call out to her or he'd hunt her down. He'd make sure they found each other as soon as he could arrange it.

"We should, for now, call it a night. We have things to plan..a meeting to plan for." For when he was wearing black. Then they could meet and talk and share things. They could enjoy their arts together and he could ease himself into the Negaverse. Yes, he liked how this was going to go. It seemed more and more promising, despite what he was going to lose.

When Sylvite had followed the aura and found this stoic senshi on his rooftop, she'd been expecting she'd been about to get blasted with magic. She'd thought that maybe if she played her cards right and got lucky, she'd learn his name instead.

She hadn't expected to end the night by talking about jewelry colors and making a lunch date, but she wasn't complaining. It would be awesome if all of the senshi were like this.

"Okay, silver for you for sure," she said with a serious, final nod. "And it shouldn't be too hard to find me. We have our ways." She finally let go of the roof to wiggle her fingers like said 'ways' were something super mysterious and not just magical tablets.

"Until then," she said, then slid off the roof like it was nothing and landed lightly on the ground below. "Stay safe, have a good night and, uh, good luck with getting ready?" She looked back with a grin and gave one more wave. "See you later!"

"I will - you too. You need to stay safe so we can meet soon." At least he hoped it would be sooner, the sooner the better. He needed this to be over and done with so he could start rebuilding his life, so he didn't have to keep thinking about it.

"I'm sure finding each other will be easy." He was really sure about that. "Have a good night and get home safe." Turning he headed off on his own - heading home. He'd get there soon enough and power down a block or two from home. He had things to finish.
