Hasaki simply rose her eyebrows as her level of response so Usagis comment, turning to look at the door at the new interruption, moving to create space which ended out in her standing beside Clem and her clone. She didn’t see much reason to be here but wasn’t dismissed so stuck it out, spinning her flute between her fingers whilst thinking that she’d much rather be out of here and get some playing in, a desire unlikely to happen. The Clem was being served alcohol by their clone at that time and Hasaki looked to the woman with her passive expression of displeasure, although she pulled back her hood at this point and ran her fingers through it to fix it a little from being compressed. A few seconds later she noticed Clem looking at her from the corner of her eyes, Hasaki slowly turning as Clem appeared to be about to address her, which after a more normal smile than previously offered, she did.
Hasaki didn’t get the sense Clem was being sarcastic or provocative toward her, a far cry from how she acted earlier which Hasaki didn’t fully expect. ”Oh? I’m used to intimidation and considering what my sister is like, I don’t flinch easy, besides I’m confident with my partners being present.” She would casually say, thinking back on her younger days when she was first trying to get used to practicing with her Kamaitachi partner and how much of a task that had taken, Hameline being rather habitual when it came to using intimidation. Hasaki left out the part where she suspected at the time that she only felt she had around a 40% chance of victory, that was before she had actually seen Clem fight.
Hasaki almost sighed as Iksin began to explain his presence, it sounded like another big issue in such a short stint of time, ever since Usagi took over things just kept happening one after another, although not actually as a result of the woman herself. Hasakis expression didn’t really show much reaction to what he was saying even if she was paying attention, that is until the problem with Yokai was mention and the woman felt a pant of anxiety as a grimace formed. If what he said was true then there was a large chance Hameline might be getting affected, this could also affect her kids which could explain Jills antsy and nervous behaviour, Hasaki crouching down and getting the creature to look her face to face so as to communicate, holding the sides of her head to reassure the fuzzball. After a moment she rose back to her feet, having confirmed that Jill had heard something and it had rocked her psyche but she had tried reframing from showing it the best she could, meaning she could resist whatever it was that had affected her and likely the other Yokai, although this was only a small assurance as Hasaki strode out of the room without a word, intent on checking on her other partners before preparing for what came.

After getting permission from the others that worked with the leader, Shin and herself entered into the office. With a rose eyebrow at how messy it was, it was actually starting to bother her. Being raised in a big family home with a morgue to boot, they were imprinted to keep things clean, tidy, and organized as you go. This office gave her anxiety and was making her uncomfortable.
And she wanted a shower too.
"Um. Usagi?" She called out, wondering if the blonde woman was here. She doesn't even know if she was, she was so distracted by the mess and the clutter that it seemed hard to get her focus out of it.

Shin would walk into the office alongside Maemi, taking a look around as she scanned the place with apparent anxiety. Stepping a little closer to her, Shin would take her hand in his and give it a soft squeeze, as if to say “it’ll be alright.” The office was pretty cluttered,especially compared to their largely empty home and the house Maemi had grown up in. Shin wasn’t as much bothered by the clutter though. He felt the temptation to activate his byakugan to scan the room and building without having to worry about disturbing the files and stuff around, but resisted it. “You in here, Usagi?” Shin would ask in a slightly louder voice than Maemi’s. He wasn’t trying to sound demanding or aggressive or anything, just wanted to make sure they got the attention of the Tanikage if she was around.

The month leading up to the present day had been a long one for Usagi. It started with her collapsing immediately after she blasted the samurai general, the lack of sleep and constant fighting catching up with her. And so she slept like that, under the watchful eye of Kiyoko, for two weeks. As such, when Usagi finally got back to her office, she was met with her worst enemy yet: paperwork.
Tanigakure had been given a new slew of missions and requests since the way, keeping Usagi busy despite her desire to not be. So when Shin and Maemi walked in on her, the Kage was sitting at her desk frantically signing paperwork. “Yes, hi, what is it?” She said without looking up. However after a few seconds, the blonde finally tilted her head to see who was taking up her precious time. She immediately recognized them both, as that was how Usagi rolled as a Kage.
“Shin, Maemi, welcome! How can I help you?” She said with a friendly smile on her face. “Please take a seat.” With a waving gesture, Usagi motioned around wherever the two could find a place to sit. “Care for a drink?” She asked, pouring a glass of sake for herself, while putting out two empty ones.

Maemi felt the squeezed as she gritted her teeth a bit, "Let's just get out as soon as possible," quickly whispered Maemi that only Shin could catch it. She wasn't even sure if he understood what she just said. She heard the woman called out as her attention turned towards to where she heard it. Saw the blonde head peeked out a bit as she called by their names and even request for them to take a seat. Her eyes glanced around the room which just made her want to take a shower even more. She closed her eyelids for a moment and shook her head when she heard Usagi requested if they wanted a drink. "No thank you, we're here to request permission to go to Konohagakure to see Shin's mother, we wish to inform her that we're engaged in person." Maemi went straight to the point. The sooner they get out of that cluttered office, the better.

Shin would keep an eye on Maemi as he noticed Usagi poke her head out from behind a stack of paperwork and greet them. Smirking slightly to himself, he appreciated the riendly offer, but was slightly concerned Maemi would have an aneurysm if they stayed any longer than absolutely necessary. He made a mental note that maybe he should be the main relay between them and the Kage at least when something concerned both of them. Shaking his head slightly as he raised his hand, “Thanks,but no thanks. Like Maemi said, we were just hoping to get the ok from you to go visit my mom back in Konoha.... we got engaged the day of the samurai attack and finally both got enough downtime to be able to visit and tell her in person.”

“Oh my!” Usagi’s eyes widened in mild surprise as she took a sip of her sake. She placed the small cup down on her desk with a clink, and gave the two lovebirds a sincere smile. “That’s amazing news! Yeah, go, go!” Usagi rose to her feet and walked around behind Shin and Maemi, clasping her hands on their shoulders to pull them into a hug. “Ahhhh, I’m so happy for you both!” She beamed, ignoring any discomfort from the two of them caused by her evasion of personal space. Usagi paused for a second, pondering something for just a moment. “Actually, if you two are going to Konoha, then.” Usagi lifted her head, turning it in the direction of her door. “Shuu! Dokai! Get in here!”
The response was immediate, as the door to the Tanikage’s office burst open violently. A gust of wind rushed into the office and swirled around the small room, scattering the already cluttered paperwork around. The cyclone circled around almost a hundred times in just the blink of an eye, before a young girl stood in front of Shin and Maemi. “Oh wooowwww! You guys are getting married?!” The blue haired shinobi clasped one of Shin’s hands and one of Maemi’s hands between her own gloved ones, staring at the two with stars in her eyes. There was gust and she appeared at Maemi’s side. “Dyou have a dress??? Oh I bet it’s so pretty; can I see it??? Are you gonna make Usagi a bridesmaid, huh huh???” Another, and she was at Shin’s opposite side. “And what about you, huh? I hope you’re treating this princess right! Who am I kidding? Of course you are, lookit you.” A third burst and she was behind the couple, physically pushing Usagi away and pressing her face close between the two ninja. “Do you have a date set? Oh I hope it’s spring, it’s so pretty in spring time!” Shuu squealed before they could properly react, physically lifting herself into the air with another, much smaller, gust of wind and appearing in front of the two of them once again. “Jonin Shuu reporting for duty!” The blue blur saluted with a wide grin on her face. "I’ll gladly escort you two lovebirds to the Leaf village!”
Usagi groaned and lifted herself from a small pile of papers as someone knocked on her door. Standing in the frame was another woman, a much more serious expression on her face. She dressed in her suit, with her hands deep in her pockets. “I apologize for the disruption, Lady Tanikage.” Dokai took a few steps to help the blonde woman to her feet, before standing in place next to Shuu. “I see Shuu’s already made her introduction.” She said, her face softening just a tad as she smiled at Shin and Maemi. “The name’s Dokai Shinoda, it’s nice to meet you.” She extended a single hand for the two of them to shake, in turn. “Oh, and congratulations.”
Usagi cracked her back with a grunt and went to sit on her desk, languidly crossing a leg over her knee. “I’m sending these two with you, partly for protection, partly for ambassador work. Shuu, Dokai. Try to get in contact with the Hokage, and establish some kind of meeting times. I heard there’s a new one, and us new Kage’s gotta stick together. afterall.”
"Yesma'am!"The both said in unison, as Shuu snapped to a salute and Dokai bowed at the waist.

Maemi was glad that at least Shin wasn't going to take up on the offer. She heard stories of his bedside manner. Something Maemi lacked and she wasn't upset about it at all. Usagi exclaimed at the news of being married as she ran up to them and pulled them into a hug. Maemi flinched but at least Usagi wasn't dirty or anything of the matter so that helped... comforted her a bit. Her grip didn't let go as she called for other people to come in. ''For the love of corpses please don't let them be dirty...' Maemi thought to herself. The door burst open as a woman zoomed around and stopped in front of them. Maemi blinked as her and Shin's hand was taken and grasped into this stranger's hand. She rattled off the questions and Maemi felt a bit lost. No one in the family was this... energetic. She pushed Usagi away and replaced her as Maemi gently grasped her hand and removed it. She stroke her clothes and checked the braid of her hair to make sure it wasn't a mess. She needed a mirror as soon as possible. And a shower too. Maemi nodded at Shinoda's introduction and didn't answer any of Shuu's questions. Maemi was a rather private person after all. "Thank you, Usagi." Thanked her for letting them go, Maemi quickly stepped out and started to head towards the gates.

Shin would chuckle slightly as he and Maemi were pulled into a hug by Usagi, “Thanks...” he’d say cheerfully as Usagi called for a couple other people to come in. The next thing he knew, Shin was in the middle of. Whirlwind of dust and paperwork as a small female zipped back and forth around them excitedly questioning him and Maemi about their wedding, dresses, dates, and all sorts of other stuff that he was struggling to keep track of what was going on. When the human tornado finally stopped, Shin could see Maemi anxiously checking her long braid and couldn’t help but chuckle slightly, though it was mostly out of concern for her mental well being. She wasn’t used to dealing with people that were still alive like he was, let alone one as excitable and energetic as this Shuu was. When another woman entered, he was kind of glad she was calmer as she congratulated them too, shaking both their hands. Shin sort of wished he had a telepathic link to let Maemi know he could sterilize her,well her skinned clothes and stuff, later if she wanted. “Nice to meet you both, and. Thanks a lot for letting us make the trip, Lady Usagi” Shin would say happily. When he saw Maemi rush out of the office towards the gates, Shin would shrug slightly, “I guess she’s ready to get on the road...” he would hurry along after Maemi, activating. His byakugan momentarily to make sure he knew where she was headed. “Maemi, wait up! He’d holler towards her as he jogged up beside her. Matching her walking speed he’d turn his head to look at her as they walked, “you ok, love? If you want... I can use one of my medical techniques to clean off the dust and s**t from that little tornado girl.” Shin would chuckle slightly at the recent memory of Shuu zipping around them.

“What’d you do?” Shuu turned to Dokai and gave her an accusatory look, placing her hands on her hips, as Shin and Maemi quickly fled the office. Dokai responded by making a vague noise and shrugging.
“Focus, you two.” Usagi sighed. The Kage flicked a hand and a small box appeared in her palm with a poof. “Make sure the new Hokage gets this. As an office warming gift.” Usagi’s tone and expression became deadly serious. “And stay away from the Slumbering Weald, that’s an order. Got it?”
“Yes ma’am!” Shuu and Dokai responded.
“Good, now get out of here. I have important business to attend to.” Usagi finished by pulling a large donut from beneath her desk and taking a bite from it.
In a matter of mere seconds, Dokai and Shuu appeared behind Maemi and Shin. “Are ya lovebirds ready to go then?” Shuu asked with a grin, wrapping her arms around their shoulders.
Iksin was quiet for most of the walk to the kage's office. He didn't really want to disturb what was likely Kiyoko's thoughts about him right now, but also he himself was thinking of the words she spoke. Not everything fit together particularly well but none-the-less. He was unsure what the kage would say about this, he was sure that Kiyoko would be at least letting them in on this particular conversation. Iksin himself however would wait to be introduced and to see what was said and exchanged.
Hatsumomo walked up the stairs of the Office and stopped before the waiting room door. 'This is it' she thought to herself. She knew that there was no turning back now. She didn't understand why she was doubting herself so last minute, she had always been a bold girl that always stuck with her choices. Why now? She knew that her choice was clear and there was absolutely no use turning around now. She took another deep breath and pulled out a pair of baoding balls. She rotated the in her hand and walked through the door...
The place was... busy. There were shinobi waiting to be seen and people making an exit. Hatsu moved to the side of the wall to spot a man waiting by the door. She found a place to stand, far enough to give the man his space but close enough to look at him and his companion Should we take a number or something? she chuckled, she was horrible at starting a conversation but wasn't shy about having one. She continued to spin and rotate the small steel balls in her hand as she looked around the room.
After a short amount of silence, Kiyoko and Iksin had made it to the office of the Tanikage. The woman rapped her gloved knuckles to the door to hear a quiet response to enter. Doing as she was told, Kiyoko and her guest stepped into the cluttered office of the Kage. She expected to see Usagi asleep at her desk, surrounded by paperwork. But instead, what Kiyoko was greeted by was a tidy office. Relatively tidy, anyway. At least it seemed like the paperwork was done. But Usagi was standing with her back to them, facing the window that overlooked Tanigakure. She looked deep in thought.
“Lady Tanikage.” Kiyoko spoke up, to get Usagi from her thoughts. The woman jumped a little and turned to face her friend.
“Hey Kiyoko!” She said, a wide smile forming on her face. “What’ve you dragged into my office today?”
The Jonin gave a brief rundown about what happened with Iksin at the food stall, and Usagi’s face looked concerned for a mere moment.
“Iksin.” Usagi greeted the man as he walked in, after her small conversation with Kiyoko. “My friend here says you’re wanting to join Tanigakure. But she’s also told me something concerning about you.” The blonde woman placed her hands on her hips and she smiled at the tamer. Despite the subject matter, Usagi’s smile was genuine, as if she knew something that Kiyoko didn’t. “But I’ve always had a more hands on approach to things. My conditions are simple: we spar, and after that I decide if you can join us or not. Deal?”
Kiyoko was about to question Usagi’s methods when someone else walked into the room. While the Jonin wanted to admonish her Kage’s reckless attitude, she didn’t want to do it in front of another villager. So instead Kiyoko turned her attention to the metal manipulating woman and gave her a small nod. “No need, I’d be happy to assist you. How can I help?” Kiyoko asked, clasping her hands behind her back as she stood up straight.
A little bit of waiting did Iksin no harm, and as he figured Kiyoko informed her kage of his situation. He didn't fault Kiyoko knowing the situation however having too many people aware of his particular goals would be an issue. He could only hope he could trust the two of them to be hush hush about it. Iksin would smile at the girl who made a joke, but before he or Aldrich could respond Kiyoko already had, so instead of a comment to the girl about her bit of a joke he simply waved and said. "Good Luck." To her before turning to Usagi who had mentioned a spar being the simple condition for him to join. Iksin thought for a moment, but nodded. "I can agree to that. Shall we go to a more suitable place for this spar then?" He said to the kage, thinking about the situation and realizing he'd never sparred before. Taking into consideration how shinobi were very versed in combat types he thought about this. "Uhm, if I may make a stipulation? I don't know how shinobi and kunoichi spar, but if possible could we leave out Genjutsu usage?" He'd ask Usagi.
Hatsumomo looked at Kiyoko and a smirk came across her face, she knew exactly whom she was talking too " I'm Hatsumomo and you're Kiyoko. " She smiled and looked around the room expecting for everyone to partake in the small excitement she was feeling " I know you... " She crossed her arms and sized her up " I heard you defeated an Oni with a single glance. " Where Hatsumomo was from, all the girls really did was sit as spectators to the rise of Tanigakure on their horizon. The Drama and excitement that was in the distance was exciting for the girls in the area including Hatsumomo and her sisters " I'm just here to join but running into you is really cool."
