He didn't like the noise at all and kept his ears low while his hands held them as if to keep them from flopping backup to hear the sound. His nose then twitched a few times as he smelled his favorite thing in the world. Strawberries. His eyes slowly opened as he tilted his head down off the branch to see if it was actually a strawberry he was smelling or if it was something that was pretending.
" Strawberry?"
He found himself saying as he jumped down from the tree branch landing on his feet with ease. He leaned over slightly sniffing at the air before very cautiously making his way over to Travis. His stomach growled a very loudly as he leaned forward sniffing at the strawberry in the other's hand before clamping down on it with his lips. He pulled it back out of the other's hand bringing his own hands up holding the strawberry nibbling on it. His tail started it to wiggle around brother happily as his ears started to stand up. ✿ ✿ ✿

"Want another?"
he asked as he pulled another one out of the bag and smiled. He could not help but smile. How could you not with the was his tail wagged like that. He ended up handing the other the entire baggie as he pulled out the remainder of his lunch and sat down on the ground. All the while he kept looking towards the other watching how happy the other was over a simple fruit. The lunch hour passed in companionable silence when his alarm beeped again. This time Samuel was quick to silence the thing.
"Alright back to work. So a two story house......."
He began sketching the layout fresh, often asking the other what he thought, and changing things accordingly based on the others responses. Things seemed to be going smoother now as he began to make a list of materials. If things kept at this pace, he should be able to get the foundations laid tomorrow at the very least.

It is also wonderful deceit of him finally eat something. ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀✿✿▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ✿ ✿ Samow couldn't help a get even more excited at that moment to as he reached out taking the bag very slowly from the other's hand grabbing up another strawberry nibbling on it quickly. He got very excited as his tail wiggled around even more making his ears stand up a little bit taller. He turned his attention slightly when the other of was talking to him giving a few nods as well as small information to help the other fill out the sketch again. He did his best to keep his distance this time so not to spill the any juices on the page or bump the other since it seemed it to have upset this man when he had rubbed his arm.
It wasn't long before he ended up finishing the bag of strawberries as his nose gave a small twitch to the way that they other had finished up the sketch. He shifted his body just a little bit closer to see the finished product
" That will make a wonderful space for someone and their mate. Whoever gets the home seems to have everything that they need to start a family as well as survive better out here..."
He said as he slowly pushed the empty strawberry bag over towards the other not sure where he was supposed to put it but also knew not to make a mess outside. His nose twitched again as he tilted his head looking at Travis rather curiously wondering how the ither smelled so he could remember.✿ ✿ ✿

Journal: The days seem to start earlier here. They came and escorted me from my apartment back to the Rabbit Hutch at seven. Apparently I have not been given clearance to wonder on my own yet. This will definitely make me think twice about taking these government jobs again.
▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀
Travis yawned as he looked around sleepily. Today he was supposed to supervise the foundation going into the five plots and to install the lightweight wood frames. He estimated it would probably take the whole workday to complete everything. He also saw that gardening supplies had been dropped off, and figured that they could break ground on some of the gardens why waiting for the foundation to dry. Which meant that he would need fence posts as well.
"Alright Samuel, you ready to work today? There are some people that are to come out and lay the foundation today, why they are doing that, we are to put in these fence posts and make some raised flower beds."
He showed him the assortment of gardening supplies that had been left out by each plot of land. Things like fence posts, wood, bags of soil, compost, and tool. There was also an assortment of seeds, as well as seedlings.

He could still see the flashes of the nightmares playing out as he s**t hisneyes shaking his head as he sat up. He looked up seeing the sun rising as he made his way over to the area he was suppose to meet the human he didnt get his name. He wasn't even sure if he did get it or if he forgot. The lack of sleep was messing with him badly. When Travis finally got there, he stood nearby as he listened to what the kther was saying. His tail wiggled some at the idea of working on the garden and it would give hin a chance to dig a little.
" More people....stay out of their way...work on garden and i can dig well,"
he yawned out repeating some of what the other had said. His eara fell some as he rubbed his ehes giving them a droppy look to them. ✿ ✿ ✿

Travis looked at him up and down for a few minutes. Then he yawned again, it seemed they were both a little sleepy this morning, but there was nothing that could be done about that really. Accept maybe eat some breakfast, which reminded him, he had been given two breakfast boxes and told to deliver the rabbits to him why he was out here working. It made him wonder where the other slept if there were no housing plots out here yet.
"No eat first, I have breakfast here for us. Then stay out-of-the-way for you and me both, I am not apart of the foundation either, together we then work on putting up garden fences this morning and go from there. Might be lunch by then. Afterward, we can prepare the grounds, and make the flower beds, that might take most of today honestly. Especially since we have to do it for all five plots, which means trimming the grass, and moving rocks and all that wonderful stuff, a few of those trees look like they needs limbing too."
He told the other as he pulled out the breakfast boxes and handed the one marked for the rabbit. He then opened his and blinked surprised. It was a single onion bagel, with cream cheese, what looked about 6 ounces of blueberries, and an 8oz carton of 1% fat-free milk. He knew they had warned him they were big on diets, and healthy eating, he guessed he had not extended it to mean him as well. There was a note about a morning snack would be delivered at nine. At least it was not too far off, two hours should work for that meal.
Notes: We are hoping that since the contractor is offering the food this time around that subject 45 will take the food from him and eat. If he keeps on this path of not eating anything or very little he will become sick again. We are unsure if he will make it out of the sickness this time.
▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀✿✿▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ✿ ✿ ✿ Samuel sniffed the air some when the other opened his box as he reached out causionly taking his own. He slowly peeked inside of it as if something was going to jump out of him. He relaxed seeing it was food as he felt a small frown come over his face. He looked at the carrots, celeroy, lettuse and spinage that was in his box as he closed it back up. He slowly moved putting the box down onto the ground as he drew in a breath.
"I can't really put in the fence work well but i can at least measure a little and dig a hole for you"
he offered with another small yawn. He had to admit that he was really hungry but he just didn't want to eat. After the nightmare that he had last night and the stomach growling loudly wasn't helping either. He shook his head as he went over to grab up the stuff to help go place markers where the garden should be✿ ✿ ✿

Travis had sat down to eat as he looked at him surprised. He looked at the box and tilted his head when it rumbled. He took a bite of his bagel and chewed some.
"None of that, eat your food. Can't work if you have no gas in the tank. Eat up, and don't say your not hungry I hear your belly from here. Stop being a kid, kid."
He grouched at the other. He watched him closely as he waited for him to pick up the box.
▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀✿✿▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ✿ ✿ ✿Samuel turned when he was told that he had to come sit down and eat. He frowned more when he was called a kid. He narrowed his eyes a little clearly not liking that the other called him kid after learning his name. He shook his head quickly as he turned away from his meal even more. He could feel his hands shake making hims wrap them up in his shirt to keep the other from seeing the shake. He hated when his body did when he got too hungry or too tired.
"I don't feel hungry right now...i will end up eating later maybe. I can't eat...I...i can't...."
he said not looking at the other. He didn't want to tell the other the real reason he didn't want to eat. He didn't even understand why he was starting to trust him even after a day. He could hear his rabbit mumbling stuff but since the others had...vanished....his inner voice was either quiet or not wanting to talking✿ ✿ ✿

Journal: Samuel is stubborn. I can see that he is hungry, tired too. He is no help if he runs himself down. He really does remind me of the kid I named him for sometimes. The more he needs something the more he resists.

Travis still had not looked up at the other as he finished his meal. He slowly was trying to figure out a way to get the other to eat. It was clear to him he needed the food. Just like it was clear that if he was not eating, he would not have the endurance to work hard today. Which was no help whatsoever in the end to anyone? He slowly looked at him as he tilted his head studying him.
"Samuel, if you don't try and eat something, I will not allow you to eat the strawberries I brought you at lunchtime. It was supposed to be a surprise, but maybe this will get your attention. I will not have you falling out on me."
He said firmly as he looked him full in the eyes conveying that he meant business with what he said. His foot tapped a little showing his irritation at the situation. What was it with the other and not eating, most normal people chowed down on breakfast, after not having eaten since the night before. He was a firm believer that breakfast was the most important meal a person could get in a day.
▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀✿✿▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ✿ ✿ ✿Samuel's ears twitched as he slowly turned to look at the other. He blinked confused when the other was talking about having strawberries. His stomach growled even louder at the idea of the small jucy red fruits that he loved so much. He seemed to think about it for a short moment before he went over sitting down as he grabbed his box.
"Fine....i guess i could eat a little now and more later,
he grumbled some. He opened up the box sniffing at it slightly as if expecting things like before. He then pulled out the food as he started to nubble on everything. He looked over towards Travis as if wanting to make sure he was still close as he went back to eat. He could feel his rabbit side waking up more at the food he was eating as he bit his lip.

Travis watched and waited patiently after he finished the meal. When it looked like the other had ate all that he was willing too, he handed him the small bag of strawberries. He actually had another one tucked away, he brought for himself, but he figured he would save those for latter if he needed them. After he handed over the promised goodies he stretched as he began to look around.
"We will need to put the fences in first, then the gate. You can help with the digging part, and I will hammer in the spikes, together we can string the fences, it will be easy you will see."
He said as he began to sort through the supplies picking up the small shovel and hammer as he headed over to the first plot of land to begin working on the garden fences.
✿ ✿ ✿Samuel's ears gave a small twitch hearing the bag move around. He blinked seeing the strawberries taking them slowly before he started to eat them happily. He looked up listening to what Travis was saying while he ate. He then felt a chill as he relaxed hearing his voice. When Travis had turned away a small but weak smile came over his lips.
I have missed hearing you....and different is...worrisome. What if he is only nice because they are making him
he told his voice as he started to get up making is way over to where travis was. He looked ober the ground as he knelt down using his hands as he started to dig some making lines in the ground as he dug rather happy.
"It will need to be big for all the veggies that will grow"
Travis led the other back to the door, where he found a basket. Inside looked to be some fresh fruits and some sort of juice. He shrugged as he handed the other his box and the juice and sat down to nibble at his.
"So you wanna tell me about why you have such dark circles under your eyes?"
He asked as he looked up at the other. He had been watching him off and on all day. He began noticing how the other had such a lonely look in his eyes but seemed to hold himself apart. Why he had no idea. But it was curious.
"I feel concerned if you not sleeping well. It means that you are not that much help to me, because you going to be tired and need naps. And only kids take naps, unless your sick or something."
▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀✿✿▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ✿ ✿ // I still find it rather odd that he is being so nice and his even giving me the food but I still feel that I shouldn't be accepting any of this....// He had told his inner voice before he looked up quickly when the other had told him to stop digging. As the time went on and he sat down on the ground looking over everything. He had never really done that much physical labor since everything had happened so he was pretty worn out. It didn't help that he was also still extremely exhausted.
" I guess I could have something to drink or snack on.... "
He said still rather unsure about really eating anything but he knew that he to go for some sort of drink ✿ ✿ ✿
