Itotia nodded softly at her daughter in reassurance. Of course she would help however she could. Turning to her husband, she smiled again in thanks for his support.
"We've probably got some connections for your trip...enough to get you started. But I do have a few rules..."
Settling back into her seat, she gestures to Tali, "Much like your sister, you must not travel alone or with someone you only just met. Many people have Ill intentions..."
"Additionally, you must write to us at least monthly...so we can know how it's going and make sure you are ok."

"Oh.." Arianum said quietly as she thought on their words. Writing home wouldn't be a problem in fact she'd probably do so more than once a month if she was able to. It was the needing someone she was familiar with to travel along side that would get her. Arianum hadn't made as many trips to Oba as Tali had done. She'd tended to stay home so she didn't have very many connections. So that was going to be the problem. Would she even be able to find someone her parents would approve of in order to travel with? Perhaps she had learned how to fight it wouldn't be such a big deal, but she knew that wasn't the case. The only difference there could be for her for them to not suggest this is if she were a boy, and maybe not even then.

[Kresimir 5] Kres watched Tali as she began to get engaged in the conversation and could be proud of her for that. It had seemed that Aria's announcement had shocked her most of all but it was good that she was going to try and be there for her sister, he knew Aria would appreciate it. And yet, he had to wonder if Arianum would change her mind with these developments. He had heard her soft 'oh' and knew she would have a hard time. "You know..." He said softly. "I'd received a letter from my youngest sister not too long ago. I think I've told you the stories of when she was a youngling and was always so sickly. Apparently she heard about some kind of flower that can be brewed as a tea form of supplement that might help her. It just so happens to be Yael that she's traveling to. Perhaps you two can meet while she stops through and if you hit it off then you may have your traveling partner." Vepkhia could be a little sickly at times but internally she had a heart of fire and Kres knew she did what she could to train her body so she too could take on after her older siblings.

Taliessin let the conversation continue, not having much to contribute and instead just listened. She would have been sad had Aria not agreed to write to them. Thankfully her parents knew how to jump into gear and clearly were adults here.
Turning to her father, she blinked at the comment of one of their aunts coming to visit

"That's a great idea." Itotia replied, before turning back to Kres, "Were you planning to join your sister on part of the trip?"
If Kres was going too, not only would she feel more comfortable, but she also could talk him into teaching their daughter some self defence.
She had yet to meet his sister, but hopefully the girl wasn't sick enough to not be able to travel safely.

Her eyes lit up with the solution from her Dad. Surely even if they didn't get along the greatest she could at least tolerate her Aunt in order to travel at least to Yael right? She'd have to ask her dad more about her aunt since they hadn't met much of her Dads side of the family. "Okay! I can wait until then, in the meantime I can try and get a list going of things I might need? I can work extra shifts around the Violet if I need to." she'd work hard if that's what it took.

[KRESIMIR 6] "It'll partially depend on how Vepkhia is doing. Last I had heard she was getting stronger. When we were younger she used to push herself a lot because she hated feeling like a burden. So as long as she still has that drive it might not be necessary. But I can go still, if for no other reason than to make sure they make the trip safely." kres thought it would make his wife more at ease so perhaps he would have to regardless. "Tali you could always make the trip over with me if you wanted to see a little bit of yael while we waited on the ship back." Hed give his daughter the option if she wanted to.

Everything felt like a blur, but Tali recognized that Aria wasn't leaving tonight. She'd have to wait until their aunt came and probably longer so her aunt could rest and visit. That would give them time to get through this and maybe even for her to accept what was happening.
Then her dad had to throw a wrench in things and Tali sputtered for a long moment.
"I...yeah..I could..." Her brain couldn't process the idea of the trip she hadn't really planned. Not that she didn't want to go see her mother's home, but she hadn't planned it yet.

Itotia smiled at her daughters excitement, knowing deep down that this would be a life changing experience for all of them. They really were growing up, weren't they? Taliessin was becoming more studious and Aria was learning to fly on her own.
"I would love for you to go with them to Yael, at least. I can take care of things here for a few months. I need to focus on training new managers anyway."

Arianum's smile was large as she took in her supportive family. She shouldn't have waited so long to talk to them but she really had wanted to make sure it was something she wanted to do. Aria hoped that Tali would take their father up on his suggestion. It would be nice to travel a little bit with her sister yet she would understand if she didn't want to go. "Thank you." She said gratefully to all the members of her family. She loved them dearly and was so thankful for them.

And in the meantime for me, I'll make sure I can find someone who can help with all the maintenance around here just in case something happens. I wouldn't want to be gone and you guys to be stuck here with a problem. I know you would figure it out, but I don't want you both to have to." He looked lovingly at all his girls. "Taliessin, you know you don't have to go, I'm merely giving you the opportunity, that's all." He tried to reassure her. The next couple of months would be different, it would be a little hard for him as a father to let go but he knew it would eventually happen. He'll just have to make sure he prepares them as best as he could.

Taliessin nodded, before saying a soft, "Thank you for letting us know..."
Then, she shifted before slowly standing, "I'm going to go prepare for bed. I'm a bit tired today. Goodnight...and I'll think about the trip to Yael. I guess I've got some time..."
Smiling, a bit strained, to them all, she turned and rushed out of the room, her chest a bit tight.
She'd talk to Aria alone eventually, for now she needed to process this all on her own.

Itotia watched her eldest walk out, before turning back to the others with a shrug.
"It's a lot for her, but that's her challenge to work through this. You've got a lot to prepare for...and don't think I'll forget that offer to work a bit more." She winked at her daughter.
"Make a list and we'll work on getting things ready before your Aunt arrives. I'm so excited for you, darling. This is going to be a big adventure."
She wished she could be there, but that was part of growing up, and now it was Arias time to experience the world on her own terms.
