Sylvite nodded, suddenly way more serious. "Yeah, of course," she said. "I don't wanna make anyone worry. Also, fighting all night doesn't sound any fun." And since she was the one in charge here, they didn't have to fight all night! She sidestepped the punch, though, determined not to get hit quite so quickly this time, and she retaliated with a kick of her own.

Galaxite nodded, but opted to keep quiet and focus on the fight; better to keep his eye on the ball when he was at a disadvantage, right?
He twisted away from the kick, and this time, his dodge was smoother, and he was more easily able to translate it into a kick of his own.

Sylvite was determined not to get hit so quick again this time. She was a Captain, a soldier and a good one. She couldn't be making dumb mistakes. She kept her eye on him, even as he dodged her kick, and she saw his counterattack in time and sidestepped it. It was only then that she carefully threw a punch.

Galaxite took a breath, trying not to get frustrated that he wasn't nearly as able to land a hit this time. She was a rank above him and probably had a lot more experience than him, of course she'd have the upper hand!
And this time, his dodge wasn't nearly as quick. He gasped as her first smacked into his chest, and even though it wasn't hard, it was still solid enough. So he skipped back, taking a brief moment to evaluate, before going back in with a punch of his own. Better to take a moment and think after getting hit, if you could afford to.

Sylvite was a bit slower on the draw after her punch landed. She did see his punch coming, but not quite in time, and even though she partially sidestepped, her fist did hit her side. She was the one who stepped back this time, raising a palm. A second passed where she just caught her breath, and then the serious face softened back out and she broke into a grin. "You're good," she said. "Yeah. I don't think you need any pointers other than y'know, keeping up with your practice from what I can tell." Also, she was even more excited about seeing what he could do when he got a better bow.

Galaxite waited, tensely, when she stepped back, but he cracked a smile when she did, and bounced on his heels excitedly. "Oh! That's...thank you, I've had to practice a lot to get here? So I'm glad it's worked out."
He gave a brief, thoughtful nod. "I sohuld go, but we can maybe meet up again another time? For more practice, or just to check in."

Sylvite nodded. "I can tell," she said. "Yeah, you seem to know what you're doing. As your superior, uh, good job?" It still felt a little weird pulling rank, but he had asked for her Captain's opinion. "But yeah, I should be around," she added. "I'm not too hard to find. I have an office?" Probably not the best for sparring, but they could figure something out. "Anyway, goodnight," she said with a wave, and then she turned away, headed towards bed herself.
