Kitya couldn't help but to laugh at Alfina's timid approach to the keldari, "Don't you worry they're secretly big softies." She whispered to her sister as the keldari slowly moved towards the crystals, their tails wrapping around their new prizes before they slithered away again to enjoy, "But little steps at a time, okay? We can always come out and play with them again when you feel more comfortable. I'm sure Sia and Mika would love to do that." She mussed Alfina's hair before gesturing towards the picnic basket, "Let's go ahead and eat? It may not be tea but I do have a water pouch with me if you get thirsty?"
She pursed her lips, "We could go and make more tea later if you want too." Kitya moved so that she could scoop up the basket and started to set out its contents, "Here we are." Inside was some bread which she quickly sliced into pieces, some cheese, meat and even her favorite herbal spread. As she placed them on the cloth that she had spread out across the tree stump the Yaeli girl grinned, "What do you think?"

"Softies," Alfina echoed, mixed between dubious and hopeful as she watched them take their treats. She chewed gently on her lip in consideration, unable to help a giggle as her hair was ruffled. Smoothing it back down, she gave a small nod in reply. Maybe later. It would be fun to watch Kitya interact with the pair again.
Still keeping an eye on the keldari, she followed after her sister to the stump where they had started setting things up. "I'm okay with water," she resigned lightly. After all, heating up the water for fresh tea would take more time, and then needing to let it sit to steep would take even longer. Her stomach was giving a squeeze that indicated being too impatient for that! "It looks yummy!" she praised, quickly feeling better with the keldari contented and the cream on her toes soothing the ache and food in front of her. Back to normal!

"Okay, good." Kitya grinned as she prepared a sandwich for her sister, "We'll have a tea party next time." She promised as she handed over the sandwich to Alfina, "I'll go to the town and get lots of sweets for it or we can even try to make our own." Kitya may have not been the best cook but she could at least make some of those sweet tarts! If the berries were in bloom then they could go and pick them as well. That would be a fun adventure.
Settling down on the blanket, Kitya held her own sandwich in her hands, "Maybe we can even go picnic at a spot a little bit further away. I know a good one that's along the shoreline." Surely Alfina would be old enough for a hike, right? Surely their Mama and Papa would agree!

Settling herself next to the stump, Alfina shifted a small stone out from underneath herself before accepting the sandwich. "Maybe both! The baker makes some yummy stuff!" That way, if she messed things up again... well, there was guaranteed to be something good to eat. Maybe she wouldn't mess up though! There was always the chance. "Wherever you want," she chirped happily. Next time, she would let Kitya take the lead.

Kitya grinned at her sister happily, "Sounds like a date! We'll go as far as Mama allows and maybe I'll even bring some camping material so we can sleep under the stars." Munching on her sandwich Kitya just decided to enjoy the peaceful moment. It was a nice day and she was glad that she could share it with her little sister. They could picnic out here for a bit longer and maybe even just play around in the woods a bit before coming home. Skies look clear for now. Kitya grinned as she tilted her head upwards and studied the skies thoughtfully. Yep, it definitely was going to be a good afternoon for sure.
