Hearing her son’s reasoning made her smile at him fondly. ”I see!” Sy reached out with both arms and picked Tiam up again, this time bringing him in for a gentle hug. ”Sweetheart, I promise you that Granny and I will be fine.” She thought it was cute that her son wanted to be around in case she needed him but she understood the importance of spending time with one’s father too and she didn't want him to miss out on anything.

He wrapped his arms around his mother’s neck when he was picked up for more hugs. He loved the affection and hugs that he got all the time. ”Are you sure?” He asked as sweetly as possible. ”What if there is a bug?” He questioned. His Granny had taken to having him save her from the bugs that got into the house lately and it made him feel important.

She thought about it for a second then looked at him. ”Then I shall put a cup over it and wait until you come back to take care of it.” Sy figured that would be the best thing to do in the situation. That way he could still feel needed and not feel bad about leaving. ”So if there is a bunch of cups on the floor you know why.” The woman smiled at her child in a reassuring manner. Before anything else could be said there was a knock at the door and she set him down. ”That’ll be your dad, so go get your bag.”

A face was made but he slowly nodded his head. He could live with that. The knock made him look to the door, give another face, then look back at his mother. As she put him down he groaned but turned to head to his room. He had a bag already packed. While he did make a big fuss about going he was always happy to see his dad.

She shook her head at him and when he walked away she chuckled. A deep breath and she turned to head in the other direction, her path taking her to the door. She needed to let Rhadamanthus in so that he could greet everyone and get Tiam.
