Jhana could feel a slight blush start to creep into her cheeks as he assured her she had nothing to hide from, and then felt it increase about twenty shades when he had taken off his shirt. It sure felt suddenly warmer that was for sure.
She took in the sights briefly before looking away toward the spears, hoping he hadn't noticed her admiration of his physique. It wasn't something she normally did, but she normally didn't have a male alkidike stripping down in front of her either. "Well, they're all for sale." She finally answered him after she had gotten herself back to normal. "I can give you a discount for helping me with the wagon, and if you want something custom I can give you a loaner until it's ready." She offered. Most of her work was custom work for the other Sisters, but she did have a bunch of odds and ends around just in case something like this happened to someone along the way.

Verosh glanced at Jhana but disregarded her staring. He was accustomed to it as a hybrid but seemed to completely miss exactly why she was studying him. While he didn't fully understand the flush across her cheeks the warrior found himself more focused on the weapons before him. After all it would do him no good to be an a** whenever she was helping him out. "I would appreciate that." He managed quietly as his fingers trailed along the spears thoughtfully. It's hard to find a blacksmith who would willingly craft a custom weapon for me." He admitted as he glanced back towards Jhana. Most of his weapons were acquired by his mother or from traveling merchants as many pure Alkidikes still found issues allowing him into their forge for such specialties.
"If you would be fine allowing me a loaner I would gladly pay for a custom weapon." Verosh stated as he glanced towards Jhana. "Perhaps if you also need me for other services around the forge I could also work to help pay off the tab if possible?" It would make him spend more time with the other hybrid but it would be worth it for the weapon and he did not find her presence annoying like others. His blue gaze almost softened for a moment as he recalled her patience with his short temper before he pulled it away just as quickly and looked back towards the spears. "Of course if I break my loaner I will gladly work or pay for it as well."

Jhana's blush receded as Verosh continued to speak, only to be replaced with a furrowed brow. She could understand why it would be hard to be accepted, she was a hybrid herself, but Verosh had to have it even worse. Jhana at least had some of the alkidike coloring, but Verosh was not only earthling colored but also a male, and that was issue enough with most of the alkidike women. Luckily for him it wasn't even a thought for her. A Sister was a Sister to her, he was an alkidike warrior and that's all the explaining he needed.
"I could probably use another set of hands around here. The ore gets pretty hard to lug around on the longer days." She offered to him offhand. She also didn't mind getting to see him more, but she wasn't about to say that out loud. "Here, you can go ahead and pick from any of those you have now and we can work out the details for your order." She walked over to where he was looking through her spears and closed some of the space between them in her little forge.

The smallest hint of a smile crossed his lips at her acceptance of his offer. Perhaps it was nice to be accepted by someone like this. Verosh nodded, his expression suddenly more solemn and determined. "I'll do my best to take care of anything you need here at the forge." He promised as he started to run a hand over each of the spears. Testing their weights and twisting them here and there in his hands, Verosh finally settled on a simpler looking one that seemed sturdier than others. "This one." He murmured as he tightened his fingers around it. It was a good and solid weapon which should survive his training...though he would make care to take better care of it than others considering that it was a loaner.
Realizing that he was next to the other hybrid, Verosh's expression softened as he took a moment to study her. "Thank you, Jhana." He managed with a respectful nod of his head, the movement stopping short as he almost too late remembered their close proximity to each other. Freezing, a breath away from the other hybrid, Verosh felt his own cheeks darken before he quickly pulled back. "We can work out the details since I'll have to leave soon." He managed as he took another step back and swallowed. Surely to Aisha he had not almost contemplated.....well she was actually really pretty when he took the time to look towards her. The thought made him feel more embarrassed as he quickly turned his gaze back towards the weapon that he was clutching in his hands. "Honestly something sturdy like this would suffice. Perhaps if I trained more you could watch and see if there's anything else that could help me with balance during battle..." His voice trailed off thoughtfully. "Could we do that when you have more time? I can demonstrate how I normally fight with a spear and we could see what needs to be done for a custom weapon?"

Jhana felt her cheeks get hot watching Verosh move back away from her with his own blush, but she tried her best to fight it back and offer him a smile. "It's no big deal, for now you owe me one, and then we can just work it out together."
She set a hand on the workbench, trying not to think too much into Verosh's reactions to her and to focus on the words he was saying. "Yeah, I mean, I can try to see what would be better for you and we can talk it out. There's no rush on my end so whatever you need." She offered to him. If he wanted her to watch him train and get a better look at his technique... and physique... well, so be it. She offered a hand to shake and the deal was set between the two hybrids; she would be seeing much more of Verosh soon enough.
