As people have said before, Cloud is the glue that holds the party together. If he wasn't there, everything would go awry and they'd all be pushing up daisies.

I think it's possible to beat them without Cloud, but I also agree that Cloud is the "Duct tape" that holds unites them.

It is very possible...At one point in time my Yuffie was my best character in one of the games I played! She kicked a**....>.>

heh actually in all actuallity it could happen. But then again you'd have to think if hey fought him without cloud then that would throw the whole story line out of crap because cloud and tifa are the main 2 who want to take out sephiroth so......

I highly dought they could, its Sephiroth, and Cloud. Cloud was able to solo Bahamut while no one else could, so he just owns.
Although Vincent is quite powerful, Cloud just surpasses by far.

Well, I think it would be possible. As long as they were fighting with Cloud in mind, I know they would pull together for his sake.
