“Huh, why not, Nemu?” Satori tilted her head and blinked in confusion. “People are gonna think it’s weird that we’re in some weird corner of the arcade... talking to... the bag...?” “I’m sorry to trouble the two of you, but I promise that it won’t be long. And hey, maybe if you two still want the prize, I could help?” Rune offered. “I also have some tokens for it, too...?” As puzzling as it is to count on a cat to help the two hapless girls win their prize, but honestly at this point, its apparent that Satori may bite into that unbelievable offer simply because Rune could talk, and that the two of them were struggling far too much with the crane machine. Meanwhile, Satori perhaps isn’t fully realizing that she is potentially being bribed and not think too hard on just how and why Rune would be here in this very arcade in the first place, but semantics. It’s just hearing her out, right?

How were they going to make it out without being seen, though? Nemu wanted to ask that question, unaccustomed to the idea that two small children could be left to wander about on their own in Destiny City, without anyone batting an eye, but she could never win against Satori, once her mind was made up. Rune made a good offer as well, to gift them some of her own tokens, and truly once more, Nemu was ultimately going to have to concede to the whims of her twin sister. "... Okay, but we need to make it quick," Nemu pleaded once more.

“Of course it’ll be quick! Right, Rune?” Satori grinned expectantly at Runelucia. While it was either out of recklessness or blind faith, Satori couldn’t help but think that since the talking cat hardly appeared malicious to the two girls... neither sisters should descend into some kind of peril. If anything, Satori being caught red handed over prank preparation sounded more devastating to her than letting Runelucia tell them things of interest. “Of course! I’ll try to make this as short and sweet as possible,” Rune nodded in agreement and smiled bashfully. Even though her smile was a tad bit shy, her eyes shone with vigor and eagerness to proceed. And with that... Satori with Rune in tow, and Nemuri tagging along pensively, left the arcade and briefly strolled into the small park nearby. It was a small corner park that Satori enjoyed visiting, since there were a few old and wizened trees. It was there where she had sniped a few bugs here and there for her temporary collection. Fortunately, she didn’t lead them towards such trees, but towards a spot further in the back with more plant life that could conceal them from being seen at a distance. “Anyway, this is the spot! So, what was it that you wanted to tell us?” asked Satori. (part 1/2) Merurulince I’m going to write a part 2 for this soon!

“Well… as chosen ones, would you be interested in awakening as senshi?” Rune smiled, her eyes glowing with an endless pool of mystery and understanding of the world. “Both of you sisters have what it takes to use your unique powers for the good of your community.” “Huh? Could you tell us more about that… unique powers, I mean,” Satori pressed. Her eyes brightened with curiosity and helplessly grinned. She was growing even more enamored by the unusual affair. She felt determined to ingrain it into her waking memory. “Oh, but of course! Firstly, all senshi will have special powers that could let them climb, let them summon all sorts of magical manner, let them hide like ghosts, and more! And, best of all, no one but you has whatever abilities you gain as you transform.” “Woah, seriously?! What can I do to do that? It sounds like it could be a lot of fun!” Satori exclaimed as she leaned closer to Rune. Her excitement rose exponentially- she was convinced that should she bite on this mystery offer, she’d gain all sorts of cool and useful powers- ones that would let her reach the crane machines more effectively, or handle the joystick more adeptly, or even be able to possess the luck to win even more prizes… who knows? Either way, this could be what Satori was looking for, and there’s no way she’d let Nemu stop her and her stubbornness to get what she wants. And with that, Rune backflipped into the air. Time seemed to marginally slow down as she floated down from her backflip. At that moment, a faintly magical aura appeared before the trio and from that, a pair of undoubtedly magical pens appeared. Rune then collected these pens proffered them to the twins. “It’s your choice to make. I won’t be forcing you two. But… if you two are interested, then do as I say. Take a pen and say the following words I tell you. For you, Satori, say ‘Aomori power, make up!’ For you, Nemuri, say ‘Hokkaido power, make up!’ nyamomask ahhh i hope we can finish this for real soon...

Unique powers... even the more hesitant twin that Nemuri was couldn't help but be intrigued at this talking kitten's offer. Could she have the power to be more brave... or at least to make Sato stop scaring her with fake bugs? Rune mentioned that their powers would be unique, which Nemu concluded meant that she and Satori wouldn't have the same special abilities- she could only hope that Sato didn't get the power to cause even more pranks... Unconsciously, she found herself leaning forward together with her twin, wanting to get closer to Rune. When the kitten did a backflip, Nemu watched in amazement as two magic pens appeared from seemingly out of nowhere, summoned into being by this magic talking cat. When Rune offered them to the twins, Nemu slowly reached out to take hers, wondering what would happen when she said those four words. "Hokkaido power, make up!"  In a flash, her clothes had changed, into something that she might have seen in a book once, in colors of green, red, and white. Bewildered, she briefly fretted over the sleeves of the dress, wondering about how hard it would be to keep them from getting caught on things, before tugging on the apron anxiously. "W...what is this!? I-Is this... our 'unique' powers?" Runelucia we should be able to start wrapping this up

Upon hearing the amazing proposition offered to her, Satori couldn’t help but grin widely. Her eyes twinkled at the thought of wielding unique powers of her own. Whatever powers she may receive, Satori felt confident that the powers she could gain could only help improve the outcomes of her pranks, provide allowances for other magnificent tricks, or even allow her to concoct even better ideas! Without much further thought, Satori reached out for the pen, held it up up, and evoked the spell Rune told her to recite: “Aomori power, make up!” Satori was engulfed in an especially hard-to-describe pleasant sensation, which all but lasted a flash. “Woahh… what’s this? This is soo cool!” Aomori asked and exclaimed to herself as she stared at her markedly different garments. Brilliant colors of red, green, and white were the hallmarks of this outfit. Aomori even found the length of her sleeves breezy and quite amusing to sport. They made her feel a bit lighter and bouncier. Her skirt was light and subjectable to twirling well. But… what caught her eye was… “Hey, Nemu?! You look kind of like me!” Aomori exclaimed excitedly. On the side, Rune couldn’t help but smile a bit and laugh. These two twin chibi senshi couldn’t be any different from one another yet they seem a bit like each other all the same. “Are you two ready to hear more?” asked Rune.

"We really do look alike..." Nemu- er, that was, Hokkaido, agreed, in amazement. They didn't really dress alike all the time, inasmuch as they would do matching accessories or the such, especially since Satori had kept her hair short, but... Well, Hokkaido could see her twin coming up with plans to try tricking people by pretending to be each other already. "Um, yes! Please tell us more...!" Hokkaido told Rune.

"It would be my pleasure!" Runelucia beamed, her heart leaping with joy. "First, let me give these extremely special phones to you, and here is a small helpful guide for you to take home with you... and..." Runelucia gestured and explained to Hokkaido and Aomori about senshi duties, expectations, and more. For good measure, she also suggested what they could do and who they could meet down the line as newly awakened chibi senshi. In the end, Runelucia encouraged the girls to transform back and sent both of them off with kind regards and an expectation to try staying in touch. She couldn't just let them off the hook without some mauvian or reliable mentor senshi to look after them and guide them after all. [FIN]
