"Oh spirits." Cahira laughed at the thought. "I'm sure I'll rock back and forth. Hope you don't mind catching me." She grinned playfully towards Theriar as she imagined how wobbly she would be once they docked and she tried walking on land again. At least her stomach was handling the rough waves well. She knew others often could get sick when they were out to sea like this. Maybe too much running up and down the cliffs already prepared me for this. She was often doing reckless things to make her stomach knot already after all.

Listening to his advice, Cahira nodded and made certain that her line was over the boat and out into the waters. She had the bait on the hook already and now just had to wait. Patience, however, wasn't her best feature and she couldn't help the urge to continue glancing over the side of the boat as if her gaze could bring the fish to the hook. "They always say do what you're passionate about. That's why I took up the sword and one day I plan on doing a lot with it. This is nice though and I can see why you love it so much." She admitted as a sea breeze circled around them and lifted some stray bangs from her face. "It feels really nice out here on the waters." She admitted as she leaned back and let the sunlight kiss her face, her lips curved upwards into a happy smile.

Her peaceful moment was quickly interrupted once she felt a tug on her fishing pole, "Theriar! It's moving, something is on my hook!" She gasped as she clenched her fingers tightly around the pole it keep it from falling into the waters. Had she truly caught something?!

Cahira had such a bright and free spirit, it did Theriar good just to be around her. Matori was defitnitely a good place. "It took me a while to walk just down the dock after my first full day out, I swear i still felt the waves trying to sleep that night."

He listened to her talk and thought about her point. He listened to the play of the wind over the vessel and sail, the grumbling moan of the timbers and the sweet slap of the wavelets hitting the hull. This was where he belonged, watching waves push small bits of seaweed around when he was on shore, letting the wind slither through his long hair on long days at sea. The silence, the peace all hiding the chaos down below, an entire world below like there was on land. He couldn't wait to meet a kahikinian, he would give much to be able to breath under water. Would certainly make his life easier. Where are the fish? There they are! Set net!

She looked as beautiful as the sea itself, one day she would meet a lucky man or woman. So would he hopefully. Though there was that lady with all the food... hmm. Best to surrender and let the tide take him where it willed.

He was jerked from his daydreams about Onora's kitchen when the line tugged and he couldn't hide his huge grin. Yes the fish gods had answered!

"Atta girl! Keep the line tight there and don't let the b*****d win, he will try to throw the hook, but its your will against his mouth, and you got this! Yes, rod up!" It looked like she had hooked something of decent size too.

Cahira laughed at Theriar's description of his first time on the ocean. "Let's hope that I can eventually find my land legs and walk when we dock. Else you may have to carry me home." She couldn't resist teasing as she felt her body moving in tune with the rolling motion caused by the waves beneath them. It was fun and she could imagine it almost like some form of training, something to help her with learning more about balance and the like. She believed Theriar and easily imagined feeling like she was still out on the sea when she laid down to sleep for the night.

"Okay, got it!" Excitement thrummed in her veins as she fought with the fishing rod. Her fingers tightened around the wood and her muscles tensed as she brought the rod up. "It's definitely a fighter!" She gasped before giving one final big tug. A giant shimmering fish flashed through the air before landing with a thud onto the boat. "I....think I did it." Gaze widening, Cahira stared at the creature before it started flopping to try and get away. As it started flopping she found herself looking towards Theriar. "What do we do now?" She asked, her excitement and nervousness mixing together as she slowly pulled her fingers from the fishing rods and started to try and wave them around the fish as if to keep it from escaping.

She made him feel so much younger again. She was strong talented and funny. He was glad that he was the one who got to teach her how to fish.

"Now we pin it down and get the hook out." It was sharp and a bit savage so he knelt on the fish and pulled the hook out expertly himself. Not to mention the teeth on the fish were impressive too. Much better she remember her first trip fondly not for being bit. Safety first.

He stood and solemnly handed her a wooden club. "Now, you bonk it." He shrugged. "Your fish, your first, you get to bonk it." The great fish spirit would give her more power to catch better fish. Or thats what he liked to tell himself anyway, in the hoped that perhaps he had leveled up to goliath grouper.

Cahira chewed on her bottom lip nervously as she watched Theriar take out the fish. I really caught that? She thought with amazement as she studied the larger fish. It was both amazing and terrifying, a feeling which only intensified as Theriar handed her a wooden club. "B-bonk it?" Cahira repeated with a few blinks as she slowly started to comprehend his meaning. "I suppose...that is how things are done." It would be stupid to just catch a fish and then let it back after all. This was someone's dinner! The circle of life little err....big guy. Thought Cahira with a slight flush decorating her cheeks. She had been training as a swordsman but never before had she ever dealt with a situation like this! It truly was a sign that perhaps she was a little bit spoiled by her heritage indeed.

Determination made her clench her fingers around the club as she didn't want to disappoint Theriar. "Okay then." Cahira took a deep breath before giving the fish a good solid whack. A little yelp left her lips as she felt the impact and she looked away sheepishly, a little bit of guilt darkening her cheeks even more. "Got it!" She peeked towards Theriar with a small smile as she forced herself to give a brave façade. This was nothing, right? Right! "First time fishing is a success I would say. Thank you again for bringing me!" Now hopefully they could enjoy the rest of their time out at sea and she would leave the rest of the fish gathering to Theriar. She just had to get accustomed to fishing and the rolling waves after all. Still, Cahira was happy and glad to spend the time with a good friend. A good day indeed. She thought as she closed her eyes and leaned her head back to enjoy the ocean breeze as it brushed through her hair.
