Airi would focus hard on healing Yorokobi. At least enough for him to make it to a bed instead of in the room. His eyes opened and she smiled, her own tearing up a bit. Her hands would slowly stop glowing. His hand touched her cheek and she blushed, sniffling a bit as tears would drop towards his face. "We can do that, love...we can...I am so glad you are all right, Yorokobi-kun..." She said, leaning down to kiss his forehead gently.
He gives her a wistful smile and brushes her cheek with the tips of his fingers. "You are so cute right now, Airi-chan ... I am sorry for worrying you. Your skills as a healer are supurb. I know that I can trust my life with you." He gently pulls her into a kiss and releases her. "No my little plum blossom. I am not critical. Just a bit weary from my labors. We shall get plenty of rest during our honeymoon. I will make sure to carve out enough time to dedicate to you. Our duties may periodically pull us apart, but you are always going to be my top priority." He slowly sits himself up and pulls her back onto his lap and embraces her gently. He closes his eyes and allows his mind to wander toward the future. "You and I, forever, you and me. I promise you all of myself. I will be the best damn husband I can be and be a good father. You will see, precious lotus."
Just then Sasuga walks back in and gives them an enormous grin. "I see that you two have decided to accept the arrangement. Wonderful! When do you wish to set the date for the blessed event?"
Airi blushed a bit before she is moved to sit in his lap, listening to him speak. Her lips curled up into a small smile as she leaned into him, her glasses shifting slightly against her face as he gave her reassurance of his health and why he managed to pass out randomly during such an important time. The woman met his eyes and smiled brighter as he made his promise. "And I promise to be the best wife and mother I can be, Yorokobi-kun...."
His uncle would walk back in, a grin spreading across his face widely. "Tonight...if...if at all possible?" she said quickly, looking at Sasuga with a reddened face.
Sasuga grins broadly at her reply. Certainly their mussed up clothing was an indicator of how well they hit it off. "I am happy to hear your enthusiasm. I will have a quick ceremony tonight, we can pick a date for a party later if you want one." He grins and closes the door behind him as he heads off calling over various retainers to make preparations and get the attention of the clergy in the nearby temple. Soon attendants are whisking the couple away to get them ready for the ceremony. Yorokobi is given a fine selection of formal kimonos and matching hakama and haori. After taking a couple of minutes considering, he selects a handsome dark blue one with black patterns. It is a bit understated, but he does not want to outshine Airi's outfit. Soon after they are groomed and dressed the attendants walk them to the temple bridge and give them a quick rundown of how the proceedings should work. It will be a simple service, given the sudden timing, but a nice one since the temple is always dressed in about twelve different flowering plants - each representing the twelve houses and twelve beasts of the Hi Clan. Yorokobi's flower and animal motif are brought to the fore by the monks who are busily getting the place pulled together by the time that they walk the entire length of the bridge through the thirty six red gates. Every twelve of which has a house crest imprinted at the top. The clan's mon is hung from a sign next to the entrance of the series of gates. "Ready, love?" he asks her. At the end of the bridge are stone representations of the twelve beasts. As they arrive the one marked Tatsu and represented by a dragon komainu has been decorated with a garland of sakura and wisteria blooms. The red and purple lotuses are also decorating the grounds predominantly. Red representing love and compassion and purple representing nobility and dignity. The ceremony itself is simple with Sasuga officiating on behalf of the couple in front of the fire lit alter. His speech is well practiced, having done these sorts of things many times before, even for the local peasants who request it. All he has to do is change out the names. There has not been enough time for writing of fresh vows so the couple is given a scroll with traditional vows to select from. Yorokobi gives his promise to be faithful and guard her with his heart and life. They exchange sips of sake according to tradition and once they have both had three sake cups worth, they are pronounced married. "Airi, I do love you so much. When we get to town, I'll buy you any ring you like for your proper wedding ring."
Airi smiled as she was whisked away to get changed into a proper looking kimono in order to perform the wedding. They were then taken to a temple, where the young woman stared in awe of how beautiful everything already was. Her cheek would be red as they clothed her, fixed her hair, and took care of her make up. Blinking, she was just absolutely speechless. But, in the end all that mattered was she was marrying the man who had stole her heart when she was a child. She grew up wishing and praying that Yorokobi would see her for the woman she was. With a grin, she looked up to her husband and nodded at his question. They walked towards the monks and exchanged their vows of marriage. Her eyes would then look towards Yorokobi after as she nodded. "Anything you get me will be perfect, darling. You know this." She answered softly, her cheeks still red from embarrassment...or the sake. One of the two.
Yorokobi smiles at his bride and embraces her tightly and gently. "Love, I wish that these moments could last forever. What shall we do next?" he is leaving it up to her. She deserves this chance to decide whether they go to a quick honeymoon or find a place or perhaps just go back to work and take over the apartment and kick Ikasu out until they're done matrimonializing. He gives her a deep, passionate kiss. She is so beautiful right now. He would go anywhere for her and do anything for her. All she has to do is ask.
She smiled, looking up to Yorokobi gently, returning his kiss of passion with one of her own. She hummed lightly, moving to press against him before pulling back and thinking to herself for a moment. "Well...we could go on a honeymoon...if that is all right..?" Airi spoke softly, moving to run her hand down his arm slightly as she held onto it in a loving manner. Her eyes would stare at him a moment longer before she then buried her face against his bicep to nuzzle her face against him.
After one month in Hawaii and getting nice lineless tans, they finally arrive home. He sweeps her off of her feet and carries her over the threshold as as servant opens the door for them. "Airi, my love, I am going to do my very best to be a good husband to you." He sets her down on the side of the bed and smiles at her. "Not bad. You know, after all these years, I don't think that I've let you in my room? It was always the play room or somewhere else in the house." He grins at her and suddenly flops next to her, propping his head up and giving her a rascally expression. Before he can act on his impulses his phone rings out. Sighing he answers it, "Moshi moshi. What the hell do you ... No, sir. Yes, sir." He sits up an the bed and sighs, "On our way." He hangs up the phone. "Airi, there's been an incident. Some jackass attacked an Ellarose and we have been instructed by my uncle to come provide any assistance necessary or at least show face to provide support. This figures. Well, I hope that none of us broke the truce that Uncle Sasuga was working so hard to broker with them. If so, I'll probably have to live up to my nickname." He pecks her on the cheek and quickly changes into his uniform, discarding his Hawaiian shirt and cargo shorts in the hamper. "Chiyo, cancel dinner. We're going to be working late tonight," he calls out into the hallway. "Just feed it to the staff or find somebody who hasn't eaten yet. No sense in it going to waste."
Hawaii was a fun little adventure to say the least. While the human world was interesting, she was definitely ready to get back to work. Airi had discussed with Yorokobi about her keeping her last name for now, seeing as how they were in the same division and hearing 'Shakaku-san' would be confusing to hear.
Giving a little giggle as she was picked up and carried to bed, her eyes glancing about as she listened to her husband speak. The young woman was about to give a reply when Yorokobi's phone rang, causing her to tilt her head slightly. It seemed urgent from the sound of the cellular device's murmurs and the dark haired man's speech. Airi gave a little frown but nodded slowly.
"I see...well, we knew when we got back there would most likely be work to do..." She muttered lightly, slowly moving to get up and dressed in more professional clothing. Once she was finished, the young healer would smile to Yorokobi. "Lead the way, my darling..."
Travel was something Dotsu took his time in. Ensuring Elninio had gotten her rest. Dotsu found himself in Western Rukongai. "Perhaps I may have taken the long way." Looking around as he held the woman close to him. Coming to a hault, the Vice-Captain looked around, devising his next route to take. He was sure Mitsuki was right behind him so stopping for a second should be nothing at the moment. "Hey, how are you holding up?"
Apparently Elninio had gotten her wish to pass out as Vice Captain Kesato carried her towards the fourth division. She had an odd dream of being on a ship sailing off somewhere with her brothers and sisters having a tea party on the deck. Meanwhile the rest of the family was below deck having a wild party that the only sane members of the family did not want to take part in. The strangest part was the Vasto Lorde that was piloting and the Hollows that were the crew. She woke startled when Kesato stopped and spoke. She listened to what he said while thinking that their was something familiar about the area. "I am still breathing so I guess I am alright sir." She says half asleep. She thought about the dream thinking she hated tea parties and why the hell were they not fighting the hollows. Elninio did not say anything about the dream though. But grins slightly as she realizes that she is close to home and starts to drift back.

Kanda bows slightly and replies, "Holding up, sir." What she does not wish to admit is that she is actually growing a bit fatigued. Not because of their long walk, but because she had worked hard to hunt down Hikari last week and then the lack of sleep she has had for the past few days. Hakuba scoffs, 'Barely.' She does not reply at first and simply retorts after a moment, 'Your fault, you selfish horse.' An agitated noise echoes in her head and she shuts it out. She is in no mood to talk to her when she gets in these moods. "I will be fine."
Kenji Mizu, the Soul Painter of 8th and Divine Enchanter, is walking down the path humming to himself as he carries a large bag of peaches and other fruits that he had acquired from what was left of his family's estate. The Hi family had been so kind in taking him in when his clan was scattered and his family died. They had even given him some servants to help with maintaining the important parts of his property, though it would take more than a dozen unskilled laborers to do actual repairs. No, he basically only cares about his gardens and orchards. Anything of value that had not been stolen by looters has already been brought over to his new home. He appreciatively smells the soft fragrances of the peaches and fruits. The peaches are of particular interest to him, just as his bag full of herbs and plant cuttings in his rucksack. As he walks along he notices a slender woman in a damaged miko uniform and a similarly ragged tengai on her head. Ahead of her is a man with silver white hair and by Kenji's estimation a woman in his arms who is dressed in rags. A frown crosses his face and he approaches. "Kanda-chan, is this ..." he trails off as he furrows his brow with a look of suspicion and then purses his lips. "Hmm ..." He approaches Kanda and lifts her tengai to look at her face, "Here, eat this peach. You're stamina needs to be restored." As she reaches out for the peach he grabs her wrist and slides her sleeve up and examines her arm revealing a rich series of tattoos. "Hmmm." He then lets go and places the peach in her hand and seems to be examining something between her and Dotsu. "Hmmm ..." He looks at Dotsu for a moment, still not addressing him yet. His eyes land on Elninio and his eyes fly wide. "El-chan! You were dead but not so much so it seems! What did .." he frowns deeply and has a concerned look on his face as he looks up at Dotsu as if reading his very soul. A sharp dignified breath, then holds it. "Ah, no, of course you didn't." He moves the tattered hakama up on her leg and examines her tattoo. He once again looks shocked and then almost angry. "No, they are not going to .." he mutters. "It cannot be helped then. Please, hold her still." He sets down his fruit sack and whips off his haori and opens his kosode top, revealing thousands of tattoos that one could assume to be body wide. "Watashi wa kono tamashī o senshoku suru kono noroi o yaburu tame ni Hinokami yobikakemasu. Chēn wa tachiagaru to tettai shimasu!" As he speaks he makes a drawing motion with his fingers as if he is pulling something. Soon dark black, heavy looking chains begin to come out of the gashes in the tattoo. He draws them up and out of her, causing the invisible portions to also become visible. Continuing to motion for them to leave her body he makes a casting motion, pulling them the rest of the way out. "Tōgoku!" A bright barrier forms around it and he cries out, "Watashi wa watashi ni kono bōtoku no koto o haijo suru chikara o fuyo shi, sono na o hanasa rete wa naranai shinsei sa reru to yonde! Sekki: Seinaruiro!" One of his simpler tattoos, the one that has the kanji for water and kirin within a blue circle glows and a caligraphy brush appears in his hand. He paints in the air a series of characters and chants, "Mujitsu o kizutsukeru tame ni aete shite iru tsumibito o korashimemasu!" The characters encircle the bound chains and tighten around it until it is a small grapefruit sized sphere. He makes a slashing motion with the brush and there is a flash inside of the barrier and it vanishes. Kenji pants and wipes the sweat from his brow. "Excuse me," he says as he picks his bag of fruits back up. "Now, for a more appropiate introduction. I am Kenji Mizu, last heir to the Mizu Clan. But, I suppose that you want an explanation."
"Alright, let's contin-..." The group happened to be greeted by another Shinigami who truly was in a chipper mood. No one really tells Dotsu has such a steady harsh facial expression. First he started off by putting all the attention to Kanda, offering her food to restore her energy. An honest gesture that didn't exactly bother Dotsu...more like confuse him entirely. Who was this character?
Both men entered a brief staredown with each other, before his eyes trail to Elninio who was carried in his arms. Could it be that this guy was another one of them? Not even a simple introduction that kind of rubbed Dotsu in the wrong way. Though not giving the energy or the effort to conjure a reply, he heard of some incantation. One similar yet far different to Kanda's from earlier in the forest. Looking down watching the transition brought a surprise to the vice-captain. Did he practically heal her? What kind of Kidō spell was this? Being introduced finally as Kenji Mizu, he made it clear exactly what Dotsu was more interested in. "You have some intelligence. The explanation. Please..."
Elninio is startled awake by a familiar voice "Mizu-san?" She says looking in the newcomers direction. She smirks at his comment on her being dead "Not yet." She mutters then clinches her fists and squeezes her eyes closed as Kenji begins his chants but other than that she remains as still as possible so that he can do what he needs to. She resists crying out in pain so she does not disturb him though it is tempting to kick out at him. Once Kenji has pulled out and destroyed the chains much of Elninios pain fades away. "Doumo arigatou sumimasen Mizu-san" She says when she can finally breathe again.
"The curse has been exorcised, but I cannot promise that she will never have that happen again. The one who cursed her still knows her name. We must replace her seal. But that must wait, I am quite tired from that." He smiles at Elninio and pats the top of her head, "Oyakunitatte yokatta, Hi-san. You have always been a good friend of mine." He looks back up at Dotsu. "Well, we both have much to discuss, do we not? You have chained yourself to Kanda-chan. It is not a matter to take lightly. But since you already know what you are in the presence of, it would make sense for us all to have some tea and rest a bit? I have more than enough fruits to help replenish you. I sense your journey has been a long one." He ponders a bit and looks over at Kanda, "You especially need to explain yourself. But, I am not your lord, so I will leave you to Lord Sasuga. It would do no good for me to scold you, only for you to be scolded by him." He lifts up his sack of fruits and grabs his haori. "To the Hi manor, I suppose. You can get refreshed there. I have no doubt that El-san will be happy to repay you for your aid." He sighs and picks out a few pieces of fruit that ants have gotten into. "Disgusting things." he sighs and leads the way back to their home.
Kanda flinches back slightly at first when he tells her sternly that she deserves a good scolding after he acknowledges that she has bound herself to Dotsu, before she had even noticed. She sighs and lowers her tengai back over her face and mutters, "Hai ..." in a dejected tone. "This is not going to be fun." Truth be told this would be the first time in forever since she has actually screwed up on the job, taking the full blame of Dotsu finding out about their clan's secret. Straightening herself up she follows after Kenji. "He's one we can trust, sir," she says to him, "I just hate that he is right. We were careless back there because we didn't know that anybody was around. It will not happen again. Please indulge him. He may be a long term guest in our home, but our lord has graciously given him a great deal of liberty with those of us who are in service to the family that rules this clan. Besides, he knows the best way to help Lady El. That and we can replenish our supplies and get something to eat."
