Theanduri stared at the male as he said his name was worth more than a few coins. They were his coins! To say her jaw dropped a little would be accurate. As the hybrid moved past her she watched him and gave him a curious look when he told her she had to earn it.

There was a pause from her as she considered. His name wasn't important to her so it wasn't like she needed it. But he'd more or less just challenged her. Soon enough Theriar would have a walking companion as she caught up to him. Only now she wore a crooked smile as she blatantly stuck one hand in his pocket for all to see. He wanted to leave the cover of the alley and join the crowd then fine. Thea just played it off as him being someone a lot more intimate than he was. "Okay, you have my interest for now." All she had to do was figure out how to get him to give up his name.

His outburst made her look at him before she rolled her eyes and snorted at him. Theanduri gave a firm squeeze to his backside in retaliation. "Keep it up and I'll steal the clothes off your back." How would he like to walk around naked all because he messed with the wrong girl? The thought was amusing to say the least.

"So, do I need to guess your name or are you going to tell it to me?" She looked at him then, her amused smile still in place and her hand still in his back pocket. Thea had a mind to just pull his pants down now but that wouldn't win her his name. Maybe after she got it she could strip him of everything he owned.

Starts with a T and means fear..

Theanduri thought about that for a while. Nothing came to mind but then again she also wasn't sure which area his name would come from. Being that he did have the look of some Alkidike blood in him it could have come from the Amazons. If that were the case then she wouldn't be able to tell what his name was.

She was still trying to puzzle out his name when he mentioned unhanding his backside for risk of having hybrid babies running around. Thea arched a brow at him then glanced to where her hand was before smirking and looking back up at him. "In case you haven't noticed, I'm a hybrid myself. And this.." Her hand gave another squeeze to his bottom. "Is not how babies come about. So I think I'm safe." Besides, they were in the middle of the street with a bunch of on-lookers. If they were still in the alley she might be concerned with the little threat.

Moving in closer so that her hip touched his as they walked, her other hand moved so that she could grab onto his arm - effectively clinging to him like she was his date. The purpose was so that she could search his other pockets for what he was keeping hidden. Thea planned to take anything and everything he had on him. Mostly to see if he would notice what she was doing and partly to see if he would stop her or take it back. So far she had managed to keep his coin. "Make you a deal, give me your name and I'll tell you mine." Surely he'd want to know the name of the person stealing from him?

Well how could she pass that up? She got two things for the price of one. And no one said she had to give him her full name. Thea grinned at him as her hand moved to collect the object from Theriar's pocket. With it in hand she removed her hand so that she could inspect her little prize. "Huh, not a bad little trinket." It certainly had it's charm.

Glancing to the side so that she could take in the male she walked with she mulled over what to tell him. She could give him her nickname; Thea. But that she saved for people she was friendly with. True she might not be on bad terms with the man but she wasn't exactly buddy buddy with him. If she gave her actual name then he could easily give it to the authorities. That could land her in a whole lot of trouble. Not something she was exactly looking forward to. So she settled for something else.. "Eandur." She could give him her street name. The alias she used when she was doing things that could land her in trouble. "So what's yours?"

Theriar.

It wasn't a common name, that was for sure. And now that she'd heard it she knew she never would have guessed it. To his comment about being native she eyed him up and down then grinned. "Never woulda guessed. Well, Theriar.. you're in luck. I happen to know one of the best cooks in Oba." The fact that it was her mother was kept a secret, for now.

She motioned with her head for him to follow since her hands were still busy with the sea serpent pendant. Thea seemed to like it very much. "You have a particular craving? This cook can make dishes from Jauhar, Tale, Oba, and Matori." Thea knew her mother was in the process of getting her hands on Sauti and Zena recipes and even some from Yael. Though the Yaeli were a bit more to themselves so that one may take a while. "I have to tell ya, though, if you eat too much of her food you may get fat. Its really good." Alright so she could brag about her mother's cooking if she wanted.
