Knowing her dad's boss had already agreed to it made her smile even more. It was a sure thing! She could really go with her dad while he was out at sea and working! Brexxa had always been curious about what it was like and now she'd get to find out!
As Gael mentioned packing clothed she nodded her head emphatically. "Right! I can go do that right now!" She moved to get out of the hug she was still trapped in. She had some packing to do!

Seeing her excitement he let go, otherwise he feared she'd start climbing out of his hug like a trapped Zanteer. Shaking his head as he laughed at her, he watched with amusement. "Brex, try bringing only one doll alright? Save room for your clothes. Besides, you don't want to lose one." He figured if she only had one to keep track of then it had a lesser chance of being lost or ruined. And he couldn't buy a new one out at sea as there tended to be no markets out there.
He sat back and watched his daughter show her delight over the turn of events. Gael was glad he'd thought of the solution. Knowing his job caused her to be upset when he was gone had been enough to make him want to quit. Now he didn't have to.

Once free of her dad's arm she made her way to her room, little feet hitting the floor with more oomph than they needed. She caught his words and slowed to a stop at her doorway. Looking back at him she gave him a cheesy grin and a nod. "Alright.. I can do that! I'll only bring Lola!" She affectionately mentioned one of her dolls that had became a favorite almost instantly.
After that she turned back around and zoomed into her room to grab her doll and dig through her clothing to see what she wanted to bring along.

Another chuckle escaped him and he shook his head at her response. At least Gael knew he wouldn't have to worry about a bag full of dolls.
Taking in a deep breath he thought about everything he needed. He also needed to pack for the trip since it was longer than his usual. Of course he'd gone before. Yael wasn't as foreign to him as it was to others. Not that the place wasn't still weird at times. There were things he still wasn't all that used to but he could manage.
He waited another minute or two, listening to the noise Brexxa was making in her packing, then got to his own feet and made his way to his room. His things needed put together before they left.

Brexxa made all kinds of noise in her room. The sound of clothes hitting the floor as they soared through the air and finally landed. The sound of drawers being pulled open and half slammed shut as she searched for something or another. And she spoke to her doll like they were a real person.
"Ohh.. Lola, where is it?" She seemed to be looking for something in particular to take with her on the trip. "Aha!" A moment of clarity and she was at it again. Before she was done her room would be a complete mess of clothes everywhere and things no longer in their place but her bag would be packed with the essentials she felt she needed.
