[8/10] Cerith followed Kyril's gaze towards the women in question, nodding as she got a good look at them. Then she turned back to Kyril, winking playfully. "Alright then, my lady. Wish me luck."
She cut her way through the crowds, pausing briefly to offer up the accessories for sale at ridiculous prices, having no worry that someone would buy them by accident. As she neared the girls though, she made a show of double taking, as if struck by their beauty, or their outfits. At first the girls gave little care to her approach, too invested by their dumplings and sweets - but finally she came closer and opened her basket, showing the pretty accessories within.
She couldn't recall what, exactly, she said - compliments on how beautiful their outfits were, hope that her accessories would bring them joy on such a festive day - and, finally, once greedy want had formed in the girls' eyes. She offered them at a pittance, and when a spark of suspicion came she quickly added that if they could give her shop a good word she would count it more than fair, anyone who saw such lovely ladies sporting her goods would want to know where they got them.
The girls took their prizes, barely sparing Cerith a glance between them as they tittered and bickered over who got which one they would get to wear.
Cerith cut a hasty retreat back to Kyril's side, showing her the empty basket with a flourish and smile. "And now, to see if your plan will work. And to change back into your festival clothes, isn't that right?

[9/10] Needless to say, Kyril was thoroughly impressed with Cerith's actions. The Matori definitely played her role well and Kyril couldn't help the warm smile that crossed her lips when the other woman returned to her side. "Yes, that's the plan." She replied with a nod. "If anything I owe you a decent meal or drink from the festival. It only makes sense if we both enjoy things until the commotion begins." After all they were now comrades in arms, yes? Or rather partners in crime perhaps? The very thought made a laugh escape from her throat and Kyril raised a hand as if to catch the sudden noise before it went further into the crowds. It had been a while since she had actually let out a laugh in this city. The very thought made her cheeks flush before she reached out for Cerith's hand.
"Maybe we can both find something new to wear. They won't be expecting to find a merchant in silks enjoying the festivities later on." The hybrid woman smirked as she gently tugged Cerith closer so that they could navigate through the crowds together. Surely there was a stall with dresses somewhere....they always sold some more traditional clothing for these festivals...Kyril pursed her lips thoughtfully before finding such a stall and her expression brightened when she peeked back towards Cerith. "Shall we?" She had already caught sight of an embroidered piece that would look lovely on her companion and she found herself drifting towards it.

[9/10] A meal and a drink sounded delightful, yes. Cerith smirked, then laughed along with her new companion. If she was flustered by Kyril reaching for her hand, she didn't show it, and instead she tucked herself closer, so they could move among the stalls without issue.
Food and drinks seemed a fair enough trade for the amusement she got to share in, but her eyebrows rose as the noble woman, clearly, wanted to buy new clothing for her. Cerith gazed at her, wondering, but she didn't argue - she wasn't the humble sort, who blanched at someone buying things for her.
"We shall. Although I hope you don't truly mean 'silk', I dare say it won't suit me as much as you, my lady." This was said somewhat teasingly, with a cant of her head and a widening of her smile.

"How else are we supposed to take them by surprise?" Teased Kyril with a small wink. "I would say that anything would look lovely with you, but whatever makes you comfortable." She smiled as she studied Cerith, her gaze warm now that everything was taken care of. A meal and a change of clothing was the least that Kyril could do considering all that the Matori woman had helped her with this evening. It would be delightful to see how well the dye worked and Kyril knew today was something she would treasure as a fond memory.
"I do insist upon this piece at least." Kyril handed a coin over and picked up the embroidered piece for Cerith. "Just a slight token of my thanks before we enjoy the rest of the evening."

(10/10) What a strange woman. Cerith shook her head once more, laughing under her breath. Hybrid or not, noble women had horribly strange past times - if only Kyril realized just how pleased Cerith was to participate in putting someone higher born in their place.
Fine, she would reap the rewards, and treasure the memory nonetheless. "Flattery will get you everywhere." She purred back teasingly, eyes glittering as she accepted the coin, rather graciously if she did say so herself.
