Dusty watched as Halen looked at the stone. Yea it was huge, it was the biggest one she was planning on having. The others that she was going to have around were smaller and something that she could manage. Stepping over to the side, keeping behind Halen. "Luckily I this is the only large one." She said looking up at him. "Just don't push yourself too much." There was concern in her voice as she watched as he took hold of the ropes that she and her friends had wrapped around the stone. Well the best that they could do. She lowered her head a little as it started to lift off the ground. Higher and higher it got, she kept had eyes low and moving outwardly away from Halen as he pulled. While she did want to stay back, but someone had to swing the stone to be over the footings. When the stone was high enough she stepped forward, putting her side up against the stone she gave it a small shove until it was where she wanted it. Making sure it wasn't going to shift backwards she looked back at Halen. "Alright, let it down. Its over the footings and that branch won't last much longer." She glanced up at the straining branch as she talked. "Really it held up better then I had thought." Her head tilted to one side, she was sure she would get an earful from Halen, but he couldn't swing the stone and hold it up himself. Two were needed and two of them there were. WC: 264

Halen's muscles screamed at him in protest the longer he held the stone. The branch creaked as it began to splinter. Halen's eyes widened with worry as Dusty stepped in to push the stone where she wanted it and he held fast, teeth gritted around the vine. All he could picture was losing his footing or his strength giving out, sending the stone down to crush Dusty's delicate legs. As soon as Dusty was out of the way, Halen let himself jerk forward, easing the stone down. He dropped the rope and the branch above them cracked with a piercing SNAP and tumbled to the forest floor. Halen stepped back, panting. He'd be feeling this in the morning. "Blistering barrens balls, Dusty." Halen snapped his gaze to her. He would have liked to storm forward and give her an earful, but he couldn't catch his breath. "You could've gotten hurt." But she hadn't. She was fine. Halen plopped his butt unceremoniously to the ground and tried to collect himself. He shook away his nerves with a flick of his mane and shot Dusty a hesitant, wobbly smile. "Think that'll do the trick?" He hoped she didn't have any more massive boulders to move around. Halen was happy to help, but he'd need a good long breather after that one. He was painfully out of shape and he knew it. Too much time spent moping, not enough working his old muscles.

As the stone slammed into place, perhaps a little harder then wanted, Dusty danced backwards as the footings took the weight. The snap from above made her dance again and off to the side as the branch tumbled to the ground unable to take the pressure. Glancing up at the spot that the branch had been, her ears flicked slightly as Halen spoke to her. Turning her gaze towards him, she was silent for a moment before saying something. "Could have, but someone had to swing the stone to the right spot. You couldn't do it all on your own after all." She said with a little bit of a sheepish smile. "Besides you are a strong buck, I knew you could hold it long enough. Thankfully all the other ones are smaller and easier to move. This was the only monster. Turning back to the new table over the vent, already the hiss of hot steam echoed out from beneath and escaped the edges where the footings allowed it. Using her tail she dusted the leaves from the top and pulled the larger twigs of the branch aside. It was finally in place and she wouldn't have to worry about it. There was just the stern tone that Halen had given. Yea she could have been safer just watching, but how was he going to move it without her help? Shaking her head she glanced back at the large buck whom sat behind her. She was sure that made everything hurt. "Now making tea and herbal wraps will be easier to make. Warm wraps I am sure will also help with strained muscles. Besides just the hot springs." She glanced at him more carefully, making sure that he was really alright. "You going to be alright?" She looked away a little, somewhat fighting with herself on the inside, wondering if she had asked too much from the buck after their first meeting. WC: 323

Halen snorted," Can't argue with that logic." Even if he'd like to. The last thing he wanted to see what Dusty's delicate limbs crushed beneath a massive boulder. What's done was done and everything worked out for the best, the only injuries would be Halen's aching muscles in the morning to come. But hey, he knew where to go to fix them right up, didn't he? The little area Dusty set up looked good. A nice flat place for setting things out. Halen could see it's use, smell the humid warmth steaming the area, clearing his lungs. "Nah, I was happy to help. I don't think I'm gonna be much use for anything else today, but why I don't I come back tomorrow if you've still got more work? Maybe I can take advantage of one of those herbal wraps." Halen took a step back and admired the spa. "You've done good work with this place. I'd like to help you out however I can." And that would keep his sorry old a** from moping around for weeks at a time. Maybe this was exactly what he needed, a change of pace. A new project and new friends... it still hurt, to think about moving on when his son couldn't, but it helped that he'd be doing this just as much for someone else as he was for himself. "What do you say, Dusty? Sound like a plan?"

Dusty could feel her face growing hot as she was sure she was blushing. While she had one other noul out there that had liked the idea of the spa. They were adventuring to find other herbs and seeds to add to her stock pile. Everything seemed to be moving so fast now and to have Halen wanting to come around more? How could she say no to that? She greatly enjoyed his company, even the little black cloud that followed him over his shoulder. She wondered if there might be a day that he will open up and let those feeling go. "You are welcome here any time Halen. There will always be something around here that needs doing." She was already getting ideas on how he could help, while none involved huge stones. But things that he could help her with. "When you come again, I will try and have a couple wraps made up. These will be new so I am not sure how effective they will be."She paused a moment in thought. The place was looking nice, it could use some other features. But for the most part she was happy with it, even her little den hidden behind the far rocks was nice. Though this was of course hidden from sight and not something anyone would really need to see. "I do know one thing I really could use. Something to help crush herbs into powders and pastes." She frowned a little as she had just been dragging a stone over them and was making more of a mess then anything else. "If you ever come across something, please let me know. Herbs, some of them, are hard to grow and I waste so many at current to make my tea blends." Shaking her head slightly, she gave a small bell like giggle, "But all the same, you are more then welcome around here, all the helping hooves is appreciated."WC: 326
