Kody steps to the side next to the ropes after successfully switching position with Ken. Kodiak attempts to unload a series of shin kicks to Ken's stomach as he was leaning up against the turnbuckle.

Ken catches a few kicks as well, each of them causing him to lean more into the turnbuckle

Kody attempts grab Ken by the hand and tries Irish whip him into the ropes. If this works, as Ken comes back off the ropes. Kody would go for a low drop kick towards Ken’s knees.

Feeling himself about to be sent to the ropes and deciding he doesn't want to, Ken attempts to reverse the whip but instead of sending Kodiak to the ropes, would stop and pull him back in to once again attempt to level him with a clothesline

Kodiak was guns a blazing to send Ken into ropes. But, Ken being a stick in the mud decided he wasn’t having none of that program. Kody got a good helping of clothesline from Ken as he pulled Kody towards him. The Barbwire Knight was driven to mat back first by the clothesline.

Seems that Ken had found something effective against his challenger. But he's gotta do more than that to put him away. To follow up, he'd go for a knee drop across the forehead, then a pin attempt
|

Kodiak’s forehead was introduced to Ken’s knee after he drops it onto him. Kody turns onto his side holding his head. Ken pushes Kody shoulders flat back onto the mat going for a pin. ...1 Kody quickly kicks out at one count!

Ken isn't too surprised at the kickout. There's a method to his madness. He gets to his feet and quickly goes for Kody's leg, aiming a hard stomp at the right leg

Kody was stomped onto his right leg by Ken. Kodiak pulls his knee up to his chest muttering couple curse words under his breath toward Ken.

Ken isn't going to stop there. He hit the right leg, and now aims a stomp at the left one

Kodiak other leg was stomp on by Ken. Kody attempts booty scoot away from Ken. “Your mother is a whore and is terrible texting back!” Kodiak growls out.

Ken smirks. "Mom's a pimp, get it right." with that, Ken charges forward and attempts to dropkick Kody in the face

"Pimp at suck this d-" Kodiak begins to say as Ken charges forward. Kody was dropkicked in the face by Ken. Kody attempts to roll out of the ring to regather himself on the outside from the champ.

Ken rolls back to his feet as Kody rolls to the outside. The champ had gotten exactly what he wanted so far, but he doesn't intend to let the challenger rest. Time to show Kody why Ken had been the one to beat Cartwright for the title, and why he had more wins over him than anyone else here. Ken slides out of the ring as well, immediately going right after his intended target by throwing another kick as Kody's left leg

Kodiak pulls himself up to his feet by the aid of the barricade. Kody grimaces in pain as Ken snaps off another kick to his left leg. Normally, Kody is one dishing out the kicks like they're going out of styles. Being one being inflicted by the kicks are not enjoyable experience.
