Smiling Oleander opened his mouth to let the games begin, but something else distracted him as it seemed that another had come to join their game. Turning his head towards the one whom dramatically showed herself, the pollen she had let off itched at his nose. Sneezing, his eyes watered ever so slightly he shook his head to try and clear his sinuses. "Well that was some hello." he sneezed again backing up a step or two. "There goes my hay fever again." This was more quiet so that the others wouldn't hear. Turning back to the others his grin replaced what had been on his face. He was not going to let this hinder his game. Even if he would be sneezing for a few minutes yet. The pollen would vanish soon, but what had gotten into his sinuses until he could clear them completely. "Since no one has any questions for the game, then Lets begin!" He shouted before turning towards the building "Just remember to meet back here when the time comes!" he shouted towards the rest. As the new comer jumps into the air proclaiming she is a superhero, Dryxel watches in puzzled wonder. "How strange that a foal would be out this far." As she lands he can clearly see that she is not a foal at all but a very small noul doe. "Cute little thing isn't she." his muze say in his head. Shacking the thought away Dryxel turns his attention back to the buck that is running the game. The buck finishes with a sneeze that was clearly caused by the pollen the small noul had shot into the air and off they went. Dryxel sets off with the group into the massive building to start but the headed off to the left inside the building. There was not much to look at on this floor but he figured he might as well try to find something. After all how would he know what was shiny and different until he saw it. As he searched the main floor he found that he was finding nothing of great interest at all and that maybe he should go to a different floor of the building. wc:830 + 191 = 1021

Ysalone took off toward the building, light, springing steps buoying her into the decrepit shadows. Where should she go first? Her eyes darted this way and that eagerly as she waited for them to adjust to the dimmer light. Everywhere there lay what looked like piles of potential treasures, but it was hard to decipher what they were.
"Looks like some light would be helpful," she said, taking a breath and closing her eyes. She felt a warmth bubble up within her, and knew that her horn had begun to glow. "Lovely."
Ysalone opened her eyes, pleased to see a gentle yellow light bathing the area directly in front of her. Now she could see. She picked her way among the piles of rubble, taking careful steps until she caught the glint of something tucked behind one of the piles.
"Here we go!" The doe trotted up and around the pile to take a closer look. A sheet of something - what the Others would have called a mirror - lay, dusty and broken. But its face was intact and when Ysalone peered into it, she could see... why, she could see herself! The doe gasped in wonder, tilting her head curiously. What a treasure! There was no way for her to drag it outside, really, but... knowing it was there was enough.

Mielikki watched as the bright buck leading the game started to sneeze. She could only roll her eyes at the entire thing. So their finally addition was some pint sized doe, fresh from the Grandfather Tree it seemed because that was incredibly lame attempt at pollinate. Her attention was brought back to the leader of their game as he announced that they will now start. Finally, let’s get this over with she thought and bounded up the stairs and into the building. She felt a strange sense of being followed but there was five of them so maybe one of them was also heading for the stairs.
Mielikki quickly climbed the stairs up and up to a higher floor. The farther from the others the better. She could hear less of their hooves on the ground and less talking or other noises that nouls make. It wasn’t as dark up here as the higher floors were closer to the sunlight. It streamed in through broken windows and she worked her way through. Gotta be something interesting up here, yes?
Mielikki still couldn’t shake being followed though. She hear glass crunch under foot behind her and she froze. Slowly she turned around._______________________ The four nouls looked at her but didn’t seem to react, except for the closet buck who sneeze. Whoopsie...is that what pollinate do? Make others sneeze? I shall call it sneezy dust then. But Specterdust was a bit disappointed in the reaction from the others. She just stood there and watched them, she was also being included. So they’re playing a game? Scavenger hunt hmmmm? Her and her twin sister use to play something like that to pass the time. Of course it was back home in Homewood and there wasn’t anything nearly as interesting as what would be left behind by the Others in the ruins.
Specterdust quickly followed the others into the building. Everyone branch off pretty fast, but she managed to keep up with a dark colored doe with a bucket. So she followed her up the stairs, and kept going and going again. Were they going to pick a floor soon? Oh good we’re going to search here. This was when Specterdust stepped on some loose glass and realized that the doe she was following is not entirely aware that Specterdust had followed her. As she watched the doe turn around to face her.
“Well hi there!” Specterdust all but shouted at her in the small space of hallway.
“I’m not too familiar with the ruins and these strange places so I tagged along. I do know how to play scavenger hunt so I wont be a hinderance. I promise. Anyway, I’m Specterdust, although you already know that since I did announce myself out there. What’s your name? Do you have a gift too? Maybe solar so we can see? Although I guess it’s light enough up here.” _______________________ Mielikki’s eyes shot open as wide as possible. Sweet acorns, the pintsized pipsqueak followed her. How was she that freaking quiet?! Impressive since now the dang doe would not shut up. Mielikki raised her eyes towards the ceiling and just sighed. Deep breath, just breath, you can do this….
“Oh would you just shut up….” Mielikki finally said. “More looking, less talking if you’re going to be here following me around.” _______________________ Specterdust snapped her mouth shut and nodded. WC: 565 Total: 1,672

The game had begun and the others had spread out through the building. Oleander took to one of the higher floors. Perhaps not as high as some, but not at the lower ground floor. Glancing around the darkness of the hall he headed into one of the few rooms on that floor. There didn't seem to be anything in the first couple of rooms, nothing that special, but in the last one held something. Oleander felt it in his bones. "Come out come out where ever you are." he chimed looking around the room. Laying at the base of one of the many decaying furniture was something that sparkled in the sun's light. The piece was small, but the metal untarnished even after all these years. Nosing through the junk on the ground to free his find. It was a small oval pendant. How it was here or whom had left it behind. But this was a find and would be a nice addition to his collection. "Lets see what else we can find around here," Oleander grinned as he pressed on. Dryxel moved up the floors as he had had no luck on the ground floor at all. Not really sure where to stop he hears the leading buck call out in search of treasure. "Like it's going to jump out at you." Dryxel though with an eye roll. "How do you know if wont?" His muse said with a snarky expression that proved he liked the over enthusiastic buck more then he was willing to admit out loud. Focusing back on the task at hand, Dryxel move to a floor between the does and buck. The hall was dark and smelled of old dusk bunnies that had lost their hop. The sound of his hoof echoed of the wall and swirl the dirt and dust along the floor. "Thank the Great Tree I do not have allergies." He though and then remember the poor buck sneezing back of the super nouls pollen attempt. "The Buck has got to be having hay day." Dryxel move on to had tall box with clear walls all around it. Inside lay and a shiny square object in the shape of a very strange looking animal of some kind. "I think this might qualify as shiny and strange."He side as he looked for a way to get it out. Thankfully one of the walls had long since been broken out so he was able to reach in an pull it out. He would take it with him just in case it was the best he could find. wc:1021 + 252 = 1273

Ysalone was still staring in wonder when the light from her horn began to fade, and she was left only with the dim glow of the outside world leaking into the dusty interior of the building.
Wow, she thought. What a thing to find. It was hard to wrap her mind around the idea of it... something that projected back whatever it saw. If it did, in fact, see? Ysalone wasn't sure. But the image inside was so vivid and so real that she had a hard time believing that little piece of something wasn't alive somehow. Inainmate, but somehow conscious? The doe wished she understood.
Eventually, she broke from her reverie and noticed that the sun was getting higher. Since she couldn't bring this particular item back with her, she reluctantly pulled herself away in search of some more.
((gotta think about what she found this time xD Will describe in next post))

Mielikki walked on, disregarding if the tiny doe was following her or not. The whole point was to find something and meet back outside. But so far, between the chattering pipsqueak and the sounds from the others getting closer, Mielikki was having trouble concentrating on her hunt. It kept buzzing in her ears or making her jump. Eventually she trotted away from the small doe and made a few turns just to get some peace and quiet. The new space she found herself in didn’t seem to hold much and was a dud for finding anything. There didn’t seem to be any large stuff that didn’t already looked emptied of contents. Mielikki let out a quiet sigh and ambled off to another room.
This rooms seemed to hold things that didn’t really attract Mielikki’s gaze or attention. Probably something in here that Oleander buck would prefer. Setting down her bucket, she picked up a thin paper object and set it atop what was an old desk. She opened it carefully, it was full of strange symbols and pictures. She grew bored of it and finally and picked her bucket, then left the room, only to hear a squeal of delight back from where she had left tiny tot Speckerdust.
_______________________
Specterdust watched the darker doe trot off rather fast. She tilted her head wondering if it was something she had said. She shrugged her grey shoulders and looked to her right. There was an opening into another space and so she stepped through it. There was stuff scattered about and plant life was trying to take refuge here. Specterdust couldn’t quite comprehend that she was present in the living space of an Other in a past long since gone. She gazed around as she walked through the apartment, taking in all the details. Large soft objects that had begun to mold and break down sat facing a wall with a large thin black object that had fallen at some point. The front was cracked.
She moved on towards the back which had been a kitchen at some point. The windows here had all been broken and looked out onto the ruins. Specterdust couldn’t help but look out and see how high up she was.
“Wow,” she whispered.
Carefully, she moved back from the window and kept delving deeper into the Other home. In a smaller hallway, her hoof connected with something that cracked under pressure. She lifted her foot and saw that it was glass but contained inside a shiny frame.
“OH! It’s shiny!” she picked it up carefully and headed back towards the lighter area to look at it. She set it down and gazed at it. What Specterdust had found was in fact, a picture frame and it contained a fading picture of, “Others!” she squealed.
She head someone enter and looked up, it was the dark grey doe.
“Look what I found! It’s an image of the Others! I’m sure it is!”

Having dropped the pendant into his bag, Oleander stopped for a moment and glanced around. There wasn't too much left here, seems that the rest had been picked clean by other scavengers in years past. Shaking his head, he stopped when he heard something from the higher floors. Something or someone had squealed and this shot shivers through his bones. Trotting from the room he was in, Oleander took the stairs up to the floor that he thought he had heard the noise from. Looking around, he didn't see anything that could cause someone to let out such a noise. Ears flicking he turned off the stairs and down one of the halls, it was here that he noticed the shy doe was loo at the smaller one whom had apparently followed her. "Everyone alright?" he asked from the end of the hall. He hadn't walked too far to down the hall, just enough to see whom was there. WC: 159

The time was slipping by and hope of something more interesting was looking dim for Dryxel. As he entered yet another room, he still had yet to find anything more interesting then the shiny little animal he carried. "Well this sucks." he said as he came into a new room and was instantly underwhelmed. He was sure the other nouls had found something by now and if it was more interesting then his that would one be cool but two also not so cool. Leaving yet another room he continued down the hall entering all the rooms that had doors open hoping to stumble across something. wc:1273 + 106 = 1379

As Ysalone picked her way around the piles, her eye caught yet another thing that caught the dim light and reflected it, round and careful. She let out a little gasp and trotted over to it, eyes wide, curious. This was a round thing, with what looked like a handle - all metal. The doe nudged it gently with her nose and found that it was, surprisingly, rather heavy. It sat like a dead weight, unwilling to be moved despite her insistence. The Others would have called it a kettlebell, an odd shiny one that was perhaps... somewhat more for display than for actual use. To this noulicorn, it was fascinating.
Ysalone longed to take it and the flat, reflective thing she'd found earlier out to show the others, but lacking in strength and ingenuity, she let it be. There would likely be other treasures, and she could come back for them in the future.
The dappled doe sighed and continued on her search.

Mielikki just glowered at Spectedust. Of course she found something. Mielikki was having a hard time and was thinking it was time to change floors. Although by the looks of the sun, she didn’t have much time left in the game to find something here.
“I thought something was wrong,” Mielikki finally said to the pint sized doe. “Don’t squeal like that in here.”
She heard someone in the hall back towards the stairs and looked just as the golden buck appeared asking if all was well.
“We’re fine. Pipsqueak found something….” _______________________
Specterdust was heading back towards the hall when she heard another voice. She ran out the door, practically plowing into Mielikki. Gazing down the hall she saw Oleander standing there looking a bit worried. She trotted over to him gleefully with prize in mouth.
“Wook whut I fund!” she said muffled around the picture frame. She bounced in place and then trotted off to find more stuff.
_______________________
“I’m so done with this,” Mielikki muttered over her shoulder and also approached Oleander but brushed past him and proceeded up the stairs to the next floor. She wandered down the hall to the first doorway without a door and shuffled in. Seemed this one wasn’t yet touched. Even the Others didn’t really grab much from the first room she walked into. Mielikki moved further into the space and happened upon the old kitchen. Old utensils laid scattered, drawers askew and she decided to rummage through them. She found what was an old whisk, definitely could use this for her art. She placed it in her bucket and continued her search.
_______________________
Specterdust was oblivious to the fact Mielikki had left the floor completely or what anyone else was up to. She moved to the opposite end of the floor she was on and found another apartment to explore. Specterdust moved through the rooms, curious to find anything else the looked like the Others. She was in luck as she went into an old bedroom with toys scattered about. Several toys where Other shaped, some broken, some not. She picked up one with long hair flowing from it’s head, just like her’s. It was hard to manage both items in her mouth but she did and left the room. She didn’t have anything to carry her stuff in so she wasn’t sure how’d she manage.

Oleander nodded as one Doe brushed past him to head higher into the building while the other the smaller of two stopped before him. Ears twitching he ganced down at the item that was presented to him as her find. "Oooo. That's a good one, you don't find many with images that clear. Wonderful find!" Oleander said eyes lighting up. "I've found a couple myself in the past, but the weather had gotten to them and ruined the images inside. Something to hang onto."He watched at the smaller doe went off into another part of the floor, he himself advanced up the stair. He looked around for the other doe, his ears heard rustling in one of the rooms. He took a peek around, seeing her find something of her own, he said not a thing, but backed out of sight of the door and headed to the last floor of the building. The last reachable floor that is. the rest had collapsed and even this one threatened to fall in on itself. Here the walls creaked under the weight of the rest of the building above. "Lets see what there is here to be found." He hadn't much said what was on his mind as something shifted in the distance. Turning his head to where the wall creaked and a spider web of cracks raced down its surface. Where the cracks were widest, he peered through the cracks to find something off. While it might not be as large as what he might have imaged, but there seemed to be a few. Reaching through the cracks Oleander pulled out a bar of gold. Dropping the heavy bar to the ground, this was something he's never seen before. Ears flicking he went back for another, while he knew he couldn't take them both, he could barely lift one... One was enough. Crouching he lifted the one bar the best he could and placed it in his satchel... And now it dragged against the floor, straining against the seams as he started walking. Perhaps this hadn't been the best of ideas, but he might find something to help carry the thing back home and wouldn't feel like he was trying to break his own neck... WC: 375

Dryxel counties making his way down the long hall. He can hear the other nouls walking but it is a far off sound so he knows he is alone on this floor. Still carrying the shiny animal Dryxel hopes to find something even more strange or shiny though it is hard to believe anything could be more shiny then the animal he currently carried. Entering through an open door way, Dryxel comes into a room with a desk, a couch, and a few other things that Dryxel has know idea what the Others used for. On the far wall across the room is a shelve where more animals are stacked in neat rows. They are all unmoving and there eyes stair blankly at Dryxel. "Strange little things." He says after setting his first finding down to get a better look at the shelf. As Dryxel approaches the shelf, he can see a few furry big eared large eyed animal that he had never seen before. "You do not look like any familiar I have eve seen." Form out of no where one of the animals comes to life and make a noise while blinking and wiggling its ears "U-nye-boh-doo" Dryxel jumps back with shock and surprise. "What the Heck?!?" Adrenaline races through his blood as his heart hammers through his chest. The animal is still again and slowly with more caution then before, Dryxel returns to inspect the animal. This time when the animal move Dryxel is less spooked "Wee-tah-kah-wee-loo" Dryxel had no clue what it was saying but it was clearly not alive. "Yep your strange I'm taking you too." He pick up the two animals as best he could and heads back out the door. The Sun was getting low and Dryxel could not carry anything more anyways so he decides to head back out the meeting point. Hopeful he had accomplished finding some unique items. wc:1379 + 318 = 1697

Ysalone kept walking, occasionally nudging things out of the way to unearth more potential treasures hidden under the piles. She picked her way around old, dusty things until she came to a pause before a dark, crumpled up item that was partially tucked under a pile of less interesting objects. The doe gripped the edge of the dark object with her team and yanked it out, causing a loud clang as other bits of junk tumbled to the ground. The doe shook her head with her eyes closed, sending up a cloud of dust. When it settled, she reopened her eyes and set the item down. A bag, it seemed, with a singular strap that she could drape over her neck. In it, she might be able to carry some small things, light things. "Lovely!" she said, bouncing on her toes as she stuck her head underneath the strap. What a day of discoveries! wc: 200 + 217 + 193 + 145 + 221 + 142 + 163 + 154 = 1435
