Rainbow Dash looked at the little girl that had been placed in her arms, her whole body instantly became stiff and awkward. She didn't dare move in case her movement disturbed the kid. What if it cried? The baby could sense her unease though, and began squirming uncomfortably. "Oh no..." Rainbow Dash just knew the tears were coming. "Shh shhh shh. Oh please don't cry." Dash began bouncing her arms up and down, still as stiff as ever. The baby seemed to enjoy the bouncing though. Rainbow Dash would bounce her forever, as awkward and uncomfortable as the movement felt to her. She was so focused on the bouncing movement that she only heart 50% of what Aquos had to say about angels and faun. Rainbow Dash did wonder how they would go over in the tree. Rainbow Dash with kids was a curiosity all on its own. Just look at her. She was a mess with just one kid, Aquos had been holding both of them like it was no big deal. But where could they go. "There's a place..." Her speech was broken, it was difficult to put her thoughts together when she was trying to concentrate on keeping this kid from crying. " I think there's a place... this place... there would be faun there... Oh! and maybe pae like you too... but I don't know.... this place.... I'd have to ask around... I'd have to ask... it's called... heart something..." What exactly was she suggesting? She had no clue if she was offering to raise these kids together or to visit them or what this was.

Aquos couldn't help but chuckle a little. "It gets easier. I promise." He did feel bad for Rainbow Dash. This was so much to take in so fast. Was it sad he was used to it? He did have the cat lady bossing him at home and then she brought an egg home from the party which turned into another surprise. He clearly wasn't allowed to have breaks.
He did perk up at the mention of a place. Really? "You mean it? There's really a place?" It would be good for the two to learn everything about being a faun after all. "I mean I currently don't have anything really hold me down to my current location so moving somewhere, even temporary to raise these two..." He really didn't feel comfortable in asking Dash to move honestly. "Would it be a problem to ask you to co-parent in some way? I mean if you don't want anything to do with them after this I can find this Heart place and raise them myself, no judgment. Some just aren't the parent type." Even if they did co-parent together it would be different then most. They were just friends after all. Two very different pae personality wise. "It's your choice."
There was one other thing they needed to talk about. "These two also need names. I didn't feel comfortable even thinking of names without your input. I ummm...I'm not that great at names either." He was a bit sheepish to admit this. Maybe she was better at names then him?

"Well, yeah." Rainbow Dash responded, still uncertain of what she was offering. It did made sense to have somewhere that they were closer in proximity so that she could see her kids, teach them the ways of awesome, and have his assistance. Probably not living in the same home, because that would be awkward, but the same village would be close enough. "You saw the lengths you had to go to get to me today... it should be easier to get ahold of each other... if we are going to do this thing." She looked at the child she was awkwardly bouncing again and stifled a gulp. It had sounded like she had pretty much just agreed to the co-parenting thing. This was a lot of change to take it. Leaving the tree? She hadn't quite taken in the gravity of what she had suggested. Although, she really hadn't taken in the gravity of having kids yet either. "Names?" He hadn't named them yet? "Well... we fauny typically name our kids after their cutie marks..." Rainbow Dash stopped bouncing the baby long enough to look at her markings. "She has your mark." Rainbow Dash chuckled, that didn't really help with a name.

Aquos gave her a small nod. He could still see her nerves still showing through and knew this was going to be an adventure for the both of them. Seems she agreed...He thought? Still, even if she didn't stay it would be good for the kids to be close to the tree. Despite what happened he did feel they would be safer there. They just had to keep him a secret.
Boy, how does he keep getting to be everyone's dirty little secret all the time?
He snapped out of his pitty dirty secret thoughts at the mention of names. "Cutie mark?" Did she mean the pattern he had on his hip? Was that what they called it? He looked at his own hip. It didn't...Look like anything normal. More like some sorta gem? That didn't help. "Well my family names are all close together. Ummmm." He paused as he thought about it. His mom had a list of names that she would often talk about. Girl names, girl names. "It wouldn't be a name I came up with but my mother once scolded me for naming my daughter Cascade. She told me Rilian would have been a better name and it kinda always stuck with me as being a really pretty name for a little girl."
Thinking about his daughters...He was hoping Cascade would want to meet her siblings at least once. Her half sister Fiammetta would probably tag along to meet them and then there was Skyla...He knew Skyla was always around be he hadn't seen her in what felt like forever. She really did like to keep to herself and then there was the fact that Skyla HATED any other female that even looked his way. Being abandoned as a teen really did a number on poor Skyla...He'd have to find her and try to talk to her. No matter what he did he figured she wouldn't be too happy about any of this. He couldn't help be let out a huge sigh at all the explaining and problems this was going to cause.
Aquos put his mental dilemma aside for the moment to look for a 'cutie marking' on the little boy. What luck, seems he had gotten one more clearly defined like Rainbow had. "He has a sun and cloud covering part of it, like there's an overcast." He chuckled softly as the little boy let out a big yawn. "He's got my blue eyes as well." Oh this male was clearly already putty in these little tots hands. He was totally a huge sap and knew it too.

Rainbow Dash's eyes grew wide. "Your mom scolded you? Over a name?" That was pretty intense, maybe they should have his mom name both of the kids... "Rilian is pretty though..." Rainbow looked at the little girl again, she really wasn't getting anything else from the cutie mark, but it was Aquos' cutie mark so it made sense that she had a family name. "Yeah this one can be Rilian." This one? Rainbow felt like she had just named a pet, she really wasn't feeling cut out for this parenting stuff. Her eyes went back up to Aquos as she heard his loud sigh, she paused thoughtfully but chose not to say anything about it just yet. "Overcast..." she said toying with it. "He's going to be fast like me." She said confidently. "Well, they both are." She laughed, they were in over their heads for sure. "Overcast Fast... gross. Overcast.... Rush? No. Overcast Surge... Overcast Surge!" She shouted so loudly that the newly named Rilian startled. "Uh oh... shhh shhh shhh its ok, I was just excited is all." Rainbow Dash bounced the baby some more until she settled. Once Rilian settled, Rainbow Dash's eyes popped right back up to Aquos. "Hey... are you going to be ok?..."

"It was a playful scold. Don't worry too much about my mom. If you put a grandchild in front of her she melts into typical grandma mode and will willingly spoil the heck out of if I let her. My dad might seem a bit on the tough side but he's so far wrapped around my mom's finger that if she told him to move the island for her he'd be pushing the sand on the beaches as hard as he could to move it for her. He might just try to move the island for her just because he loves her so much. They are good people through and through." He gave a little chuckle as Rainbow shouted out. "Overcast Surge. I like that. Rilian and Overcast Surge." He had a bit of a glow of pride about him as he looked to his youngest son.
That glow faded fast as Rainbow asked if he was going to be ok. His gaze fell to the grains of sand on the beach and he had a look of sadness to him. "Ya I'll be fine it''s just..." He trailed off a bit. How much should he say? "I've mentioned my other daughter and son, but I haven't mentioned my adopted daughter...She's...Different. At the party you might have seen one of those bird things? She's one of those. I had a...Well I thought it was a decoration but it turns out it was an egg. It hatched and suddenly I found myself taking care of her. She's my oldest but she's more wild if anything." His eyes looked to Rainbow Dash. "I wouldn't worry about her honestly. I doubt she'll want anything to do with you or these two but I was just thinking about her. I haven't spoken to her in a while. Despite being really different and still holding onto a lot of hate for something that happened in our past, she's still one of mine. I was just thinking about the difficult conversation I'll have to have with her, that's all." He sat up straight. "Sorry I didn't mean to pile my problems on to you Rainbow Dash. My family life has always been a bit complicated. I guess I'm just used to it by now."
"Well that's really all I think I needed to talk to about and plus some." He gently placed Overcast Surge back in the basket he was first in. "I'm umm...Sorry you probably have a lot to think about now. This is umm...Quiet the curve ball after all." He let out a small nervous laugh. "I'll take these two and find where this village you spoke of is while you take some time to process everything. I can survive with these two for how ever long you need. I'm ummm..Sorry for wrapping you up in all this but I just know if I had kids out there I'd like to know about them, you know?" Seems this was his way of saying 'please don't hate me'.

Rainbow Dash was thoughtfully quiet as Aquos spoke of his family and oldest child. She wondered if the bird pae still lived with him, but then it sounded like she didn't. "I've never really had family..." she said thoughtfully when he was done. "Except my friends, they're like family. Still, its different than all that. Its just you now, you're not leaving your family to do this, right?" She asked, thinking about what he might be giving up. This was a lot to think about, but now they were talking about parting ways and Rainbow Dash was reluctantly setting Rilian back in her basket... it was amazing how quickly she had become attached to the small pae. She reached into Overcast Surge's basket and stroked his cheek. "Just for a little bit guys, okay? We'll be back together soon." She sadly coo'd. "Uh...You think you can have your sister pass me a letter once you're made arrangements?" It was her awkward way of letting him know that she wanted to be a part of this. She was thankful that he had found her.

"No I live alone so it's fine. I just see my family a lot." He was going to leave out the crazy b***h cat living at his house. She didn't need to know about her. No one needed to know about the crazy b***h cat.
He was equally quiet while Rainbow spoke of her lack of family. "If you see your friends as family then why can't they be family? They are just more bonds for these two to make as they grow. I'll just go on long walks the days they show up, that's all." He chuckled softly.
Aquos couldn't help but smile widely as he saw Rainbow seem regretful as she had to leave. "I'll find the village as soon as I can and see if they have housing for us. Umm...Four rooms of course." He nodded and held his hand out to shake with her own. "The second I get the ok I'll send my sister to find you. And ummm Rainbow Dash? You're already showing signs you're going to be a great mother, even if you don't think you will. I umm...Look forward to co-parenting with you." He made a slight face, seemingly wondering if that sounded creepy or over some sorta line. He really wasn't good with these sorta situations after all.Wolfs Heart First rule of Aquos' house is we do not talk about the crazy cat b***h.

"Hmm, maybe." Rainbow Dash responded thoughtfully to his suggestion that her friends be family for the kids. It was still a much different dynamic then what Aquos' family sounded like though. "Thanks Aquos," she responded to his encouragement. Dash was used to being the best at almost everything, but this was just one thing that she had zero confidence in. "I'm glad you know what you're doing." She gave one last glance at the babies. "Well, until next time." Normally she would have dashed off as fast as she could when making an exit, but right now there was a heaviness about leaving them that made it harder to go, so she simply walked away. Twitchapher the 3rd Time jump here or new thread?
