Randy Orton would miss!! Being forced around and hammered, Orton slumped down in the corner, a bit dazed.

After Orton slumped down, Joe walks to the other corner ready for him to stand back up in the corner he was in.

Randy Orton began picking himself up using the turnbuckle for leverage. He remained leaning on it though, recovering from the blows he had taken the moment before.

Samoa Joe landed his running high knee forcing Orton to drop on all fours, favoring his lower face. Joe seemed to be taking control of the match.

Joe walks away from Randy Orton, after delivering the athletic move. Seeing that Randy dropped to all fours, Joe picks him up, and attempts to irish whip him to the opposite corner this time!

Randy Orton would be forced back onto his feet and thrown back into the corner, this time on the opposite side of the ring.

Desperate for an opening, once Samoa Joe had come close running, Orton would attempt to use his momentum against him and send him packing to the corner, ultimately making him connect shoulder first with the outside post!!

Joe was sent through the top and middle ropes and hits his shoulder on the ring post! He stays there where he hit but was damaged.

Randy Orton took a moment for a breather after escaping trouble. He still was favoring his jaw from the earlier move.

Joe backs up and falls to his knees in the corner with an arm hanging on the rope holding himself up but he was also favoring his shoulder that connected with the ring post.

Randy Orton seemed to have a light bulb turn on in his head as he dragged Joe up onto his feet to the middle of the ring near the ropes, in order to throw him to the outside apron and eventually, drag him in between the ropes using his opponent's head.

Orton stood holding Samoa Joe in a DDT position, dangling him from the middle rope. He glossed around the sold out arena with his eyes, looking at fans shouting a variety of things in support of one of the superstars, before he attempted to drive Joe's skull to the mat with one of his signature moves, a Spike DDT !!
