[Rosewater x Azurea | 2-B : Graveyard]

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. After having landed and found herself intrigued by the new environment, Rosewater maintained her calm as she followed beside the sprite. It was so interesting; here we was, so similar in appearance, yet so different. "I am Rosewater by the way; you can call me Rose if you'd like to shorten it," she offered as casual conversation as they continued through the lighted path.

"So... About your tail..." she began when a branch to the path appeared.

Interesting...

Reaching forward to take her ditzy 'companion's' hand, she pulled her off the main path and towards the darkness. Should she have asked for some input? Maybe? Eh, too late for that.

FOR THOSE WHO CHOSE 1-A
You book it down the long path with whatever you have in your hands. At least for now things seem safe. Except...that pile of skeletons seems to be smiling at you. Still, his one arm seems to mark an opening between the columns leading north. Or you could keep going towards the flames? Do you...

1A-A: Go north and see what the fuss is about.
1A-B: Ignore the skeleton and proceed to get roasty toasty.

FOR THOSE WHO CHOSE 2-B:
You head forward into the graveside and notice that it seems to open up more than before. There is an option to immediately go west and one to go north that opens up into two different segments. One path to the North west seems calm yet littered with gravel. Suspiciously soft and sinky looking gravel. Straight north seems to hold sounds of cheerful fish which is odd given the fact that this is the maze of war. However, the path west seems straight forward and well lit thanks to torches that line the wall, flickering with bright blue flames. Do you...

2B-A: Go west and follow the blue torches
2B-B: Go straight north to the sounds of cheery fish
2B-C: Go north then west and test the gravel.

FOR THOSE WHO CHOSE 3-A
You head west into the sounds of madness and anger, only to be met with a dead end in front of youu and a path leading south into soft and suspicious looking gravel. Whatever is making the sad noies seems close but still out of your reach. Do you...

3A-A: Keep going south to try and find the source of the sad.
3A-B: Turn back and try east instead towards the madness.

FOR THOSE WHO CHOSE 3-B
You decide to follow the sounds of anger and are met with your own dead end in front of you and a path opening up to the south that seems to be littered with various bits and bobbles of old discarded weapons, armor, medals, trophies. The sound of madness and anger is close but still out of your reach. Do you...

3B-A: Continue south, picking along the battlefield like rubble for anything useful.
3B-B: Turn back and try going west towards the sound of sadness instead, its easier to process then angies.

Twog choose 1-b

Twog flinched when the bird lady found him. Damnit. He glared up at her in frustration. "If I knew that, I would be poking around the damn ground, trying to get weapons."

Snarling, he kept tugging on the spear only to be rewarded with the rumbles of the place. Great. He broke the ground. Turning toward the harpie, who of course was thoroughly occupied with the damn bird, AGAIN, he rolled his eyes and made to grab her hand.

"I know I'm not one to talk, but keep your pants on. It seems we have to run now." He warned before grabbing krayyven and taking off toward the wails. Surely the more people they found, the better right? Safety in numbers and whatnot.

Eleora chooses 1A-A
Eleora slowed down once she felt like she was far enough away from her columns, she glanced behind her shoulder to see if anything had changed. Behind her was shrouded in darkness, she had gotten too far away, perhaps that meant she was safe now... at least from that.

She paused at the skeleton pile, the skeleton with the creepy smile, this girl had enough creepy in her life. Eleora shivered. It seemed like it was pointing in between those columns... but skeletons... they were dead... they didn't point at things. More reasons to feel on edge. Then it occurred to Eleora that someone else might have set this up so that she would know which way to go. She had fallen behind from the others after all.

Coraciidae chooses 3A-A and keeps going, looking for the sad

The feathery angel walked on until the terrain changed from clear path to some kind of weird gravel. Pausing there on the dividing line, she pondered her choices, absently twiddling her braid. She'd come this far already and it was a decently long ways if her tender footsies were any indication. That gravel looked oddly soft, like it might give her feet a nice massage. Which did sound nice, especially after all that hard and flat...

Besides, somewhere along the way the continued sounds of sadness had rekindled some of her curiosity. Like, what was making those sounds? What did it look like? Why was it so very sad that it had to loudly and continuously cry about it? It seemed so close, but where exactly was it coming from? Deciding the answers to these questions were more pertinent to her interests, Coraciidae stepped forward.

Sedna is going 3B-A. Towards anger!

Sedna hissed to herself. She grew bored with all these twisty paths taking her no where. A dead end. What was Eris playing? A test to get her back in her good graces? She couldn't know for sure. Her fate was left up to the unknown. If offered would she even want to go back though? Sure she was lonely but the lack of heaviness in her mind was pleasing. She would have to think that one over.

Maybe this path wasn't so much a dead end. A path when south. The armors and weapons were a bore but the medals and trophies? Perhaps they just needed a little more shine to them. She did like trophies after all. She continued down the south path, looking for anything that may be of value to her to start a collection.

Dulce x Beatrice - 3a-a toward the sad noises
"Oh no! A dead end!" exclaimed Dulce. Hm...she could still hear the sad noises of...whatever it was. "There's got to be a way," she said, tapping her chin. At least nothing was chasing them or anything. All there was to it was to find the sad person, and figure out a way out of here.

She noticed a path south. "Aha!" she shouted in triumph, and took off down it without really noticing the change in terrain until she stepped onto it--her heels sunk down into it. Weird, but not really alarming. "C'mon!" she said encouragingly to Beatrice.

[Rosewater x Azurea | 2B-A : Blue Torches]

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. The environment seemed to change immediately once they took to the side path, with the air growing chillier, damper, her eyes slowly growing accustomed to the newfound darkness. Her fauny ears twitched about, straining to listen around them as they found themselves fully alone for the first time.

It didn't appear any others would be following after them.

Reaching up to twist her free forefinger in a lock of hair, she looked around their surroundings. The gravel looked soft enough to sink into - perhaps not an issue for Azurea, who could fly, but certainly a hindrance for her own heavier-set fauny physique. Yeah, that was gonna be a hard pass.

An ear flicked in the direction of the singing fish as her face formed a frown. Yeah, that was creepy even to her. No thanks.

With no obvious reason present to keep them in place, they continued towards the newly-lit path. "What do you suppose is creating this fire? It looks quite different from the earlier path..."

Carnelia, Kulamani, Feng Zhi, Ninat, Henry
This group watched as the others split up and headed down different paths. As pretty as the columns are, there isn’t a whole lot to do here. Should they move on now? There is a long path with billowing fire before them while another has the sounds of wails echoing from it.

A. Start down the long, west path towards the fire coming out of the walls
B. Take the west path that turns north suddenly right towards the wails

Twog, Krayyviin
The wails grow louder as the Pae head north. Soon they come to a fork in the road, one headed west and the other east. The sounds coming from the east path sound angry while the west sounds defeated.

A. Head west towards the defeated creature
B. Head east towards the angry creature

Eleora
You head forward into the graveside and notice that it seems to open up more than before. There is an option to immediately go west and one to go north. North seems to hold sounds of cheerful fish which is odd given the fact that this is the maze of war. However, the path west seems straight forward and well lit thanks to torches that line the wall, flickering with bright blue flames.

A. Head north to see why the fish are so happy
B. West following the blue torches

Rosewater & Asurea
As you follow the blue torches, an explosion echoes off the walls. You cover your head just in time and as the dust settles you notice a new path to the north. The only issue is, what was strong enough to destroy the wall? Do you really want to meet up with it?

A. Continue to follow the blue torches west
B. Head north and investigate!

Sedna
Whats this? The sound of cheerful fish begin to fill your ears as you turn the corner. It seems to be coming north of you. You can’t see much, not like south of you were blue torches light up a hallway. Hmmm what to do…

A. Fish sound delicious! Lets head north
B. Fish sounds suspicious, lets head south.

Dulce, Beatrice, Coraciidae
As you come to a dead end, you’re shocked to find the teen Spartan twins chained to the wall and gagged. They’re both grunting angrily against their magic infused chains and seem to be trying to motion to you…

A. Wave and tell them they’re pretty
B. Oh, looks like they’re trying to motion towards a ket that just HAPPENS to be at your feet. Maybe you should use it and rescue them?

Sedna picks A, what the hell is a cheerful fish?

Nothing. Too broken. Too dull. Too cracked. She was disappointed. At least nothing was trying to kill her yet. No Eris. No foofoo gods. Nothing. Just her, alone. Like she had been for the last few years. Maybe she was asleep. She would wake up and be in her hidden little alcove and this was all a huge warning in her mind not to follow through with this idiotic idea. Yup. That was it. That was what was happening. She pinched herself!

....

Nope still awake. She sighed as she stopped at another slip. Did that sound like...cheerful fish? How do you even hear cheerful fish? How did SHE know what cheerful fish sounded like?! Whatever. Well she was had nothing better to do so might as well figure out this strange, burning question of what the heck was cheerful fish. Off north she goes! Plus she was hungry. If they pissed her off then she could just eat them.

"Weapon definitely sounds like a good idea to me," Carnelian said as she went to grab a sword of her own. She jumped a bit when he yelled out someone else's name and frowned a bit before he explained.

"Oh, alright. I hope she's okay. Maybe she got dropped off somewhere that looks safer than this place." Which would be just about anywhere else, it seemed. The smoke was getting bad; they needed to choose which way to go, and soon.

Carnelian chewed her lip as she surveyed their choices. Fire or wails...? "I think the wailing might be safer, so let's go that way?" she offered.

B. Take the west path that turns north suddenly right towards the wails

Henry frowned he heard the wails and he wanted to figure out if someone was hurt, so off he went to see if he could help. He still had no idea what was going on and why they were being punished, tossed in a maze. Who was that masked pae? They must have been powerful otherwise how was this even possible? Unless it was built into the Hotel from the start and was like some sort of strange get out of the locked door mystery game place, but Henry had never been to one before but didn't you choose to play those? He certainly had not chosen this as what to do on his first vacation.

Twog and Krayyven choose a. Defeated creature.

Teog pulled to a halt at the fork in the road. Current company be damned, he simply closed his eyes and spun. He landed on the oath where things seemed to be less angry than the other one. Which worked for twog. Unable to grab weapons before the walls tumbled, he was weapon less and didnt really wanna fight anything. So off toward the defeated noises he went.

He wasnt really sure whether the purple bird wa Ted to go that way, but he figured she could take care of herself. I mean, she did have a left hook that would put most males to shame.

Krayyven huffed. She was getting farther and farther away from the handsome bird it felt like and tugged along more with Twog. "We need to find out how to get out of here...and quick. Before I lay scrambled eggs." she screeched, rubbing her forehead. When she heard the various sounds, she'd have chosen to go towards anger but a defeated meal did sound like an easier meal at least.
