Hoot's entire body was flushed full of exuberant emotion. He could not even think straight enough to understand what was going on, but he recognized that he loved every second of it. Just like he loved Forest Shadow. Wasn't that crazy? He still felt so young for all of this but really, his siblings have been out and about, and he had younger siblings who were already courting others. But man, was he lucky - Forest Shadow was an incredible wolf.
"I'd like that," he replied with a big grin. "Let's head back." Hoot began to paw forward, flicking her playfully with his tail as he went. Could this day get any better?
