Short Blurb on Character personality: Nothing brings Daidalos more joy than creating. The stallion lives for his yarn, needles, and looms. When not helping take care of little ones, the timid stallion is often found alone with his knitting in claws or with a loom braced before him. The only true friends he feels that he has are the familiars that like to watch him work under their trees.
Though he is a born son of the Flock, he is his mother's darling and his father's joy in spite of the usual bias toward females. As he is so well-loved by his parents and his fiercely protective older sister, this shy boy has never felt the need to roam. His sister was the first to encourage his love of the arts. She brought him back his first loom from one of her trips outside. Far as Daidalos is concerned life is perfect. He had his family and his art. Short Blurb on Character personality: Izmir came to The Flock when still in a basket. The basket was found along one of the trade routes, and brought into The Flock without hesitation. Loyalty came naturally for him, since he doesn't like confrontation, and this is where he was raised. He's extremely cautious with the influx of members. He has taken up a position as a Harem Guard, in attempt to make sure all the males know how to maintain themselves. To protect both themselves, and the mares around them. Izmir gets really uncomfortable if a newcomer male gets out of line, and will stress with them how important it is to keep their cool. If he needs to use force, he will. When doing so though, he doesn't get mad. Instead he gets more serious with stressing how important it is for them to behave, while hurting them as little as possible. He is very quick to squash any ill thoughts though. Don't let his calm and collected demeanor fool you into thinking he's weak! Izmir knows how to use his body and hands against others. He could of made it as a gladiator, but didn't have the temper for it. He'd rather have peace, than a fight.
Izmir has a deep fascination with animal husbandry! He grew up fascinated with animals, and learned much before becoming a guard. In his off time, he breeds birds with exotic feathers. Izmir is very selective when picking out a male and female bird. The outcome of mixing colors or patterns together, is a rewarding experience for him. It's a way for him to de-stress. This in no way, conflicts with his dedication as a harem guard. In fact, he is often seen carrying a bird of choice around with him.

Short Blurb on Character personality: Xipil born inside the flock to a line of proud strikeclaws. Xipil's role is that of helping the mares prepare themselves for outward ventures. The small hands Xipil had made him useful when holding weapons both in combat sparing with the mares or teaching the other stallions how to properly prepare a mare for her expeditions. Xipil takes pleasure and pride in seeing flock mares becoming stronger. Xipil is quite bold, and fierce in combat and also elusive when being chased during training despite his fiery feathers. His hawk companion helps him keep an eye on those giving chase. He's smart in certain aspects. Xipil himself is also quite an actor as when he's not sparing he'll be practicing his footwork as gladiatorial stallion for his ceremonial role. He loves preening during ceremonial combat for the added pleasure of his heardmates.
This stallion favorite pastime however is flower arranging or arranging nests. Xipil is a natural disaster when it comes to design and aesthetically pleasing work. Despite this he takes ridiculously great pride in his work, it's somewhat of an unspoken rule not openly mention the unruliness and lack of taste he presents when it comes to crafting. Short Blurb on Character personality: Ever since he was young, Sorrel felt connected to the land. He was happy to dig around in the dirt, exploring the texture and attempting to understand the differences the soil had from one area of the flock to another. He often found himself watching the farmers and gardeners of the flock, curious about their work. As he grew older and matured, his fixation of their work didn't lesson. Rather it grew so strong that he decided that his abilities would be best suited to farming and gardening. He currently assists with planting, tending to, and collecting herbs for the flock.
Working hard in the field and giving back to his community makes Sorrel feel especially proud. It can also be quiet at times in the fields which Sorrel finds comfort in. He struggles in social situations, often finding it difficult to think of the right words to say. It is easier for Sorrel to stick to predetermined rules and routines than it is to be spontaneous.
Despite his challenges in speaking with other flock members, Sorrel does well with connecting to other animals - especially birds. He trained his owl to make deliveries, usually small herbs, to flock members when requested. Arthur (the name he gave his owl) is Sorrel's dearest friend and he is quite grateful to have made a lifelong connection to him.

Short Blurb on Character personality: Obedient to a fault, Hrothmaer takes his position in the flock very seriously. Stepping a hoof out of line is simply unacceptable, and he makes sure everyone around him is aware. There are rules & traditions set forth for a reason, and they've existed long before he and anyone else was born into the flock. The stories of the days of old are his favorite, as they lead to one conclusion: The flock is successful because of it's history, and it's history must remain intact. He has taken a guardianship role that he's given himself, when not asked to do something else; he stalks the surrounding lands for anything unusual, until asked to come back and take care of other business.
Those who run the flock are Hrothmaer's idols, and although he may never get a chance to speak to them face to face, everything he does is in hopes of one day seeming good in their eyes. He lives to please them, and only them, by way of pleasing the flock. If he ever did meet those in charge, oh goodness knows what would happen, he would probably pass out from excitement. And then spend the rest of the night berating himself for making a fool of himself. If that day ever were to come, Hrothmaer knows it's all he's ever been training for.
Beyond this, Hrothmaer doesn't really allow himself the simple pleasures in life. Perhaps a friend or two, which he finds difficult to keep, will help change that....

Short Blurb on Character personality: Ehecatl, like his name suggests, is always up in the air. Maybe not physically, but this little (or rather quite large) Soquili is a total space cadet. He isn't the brightest, but he is earnest - always trying his best, which often doesn't pay off but hey, at least he's persistent. Clumsy and oafish, his face only has two emotions: pure joy and worry. The worry feels constant, as his motor skills - and his social skills - are rather poor, so he often gets himself into messes. These messes take many forms, whether it be tripping over nothing into a muddy river or "accidentally" (unclear whether or not this is purposeful) butting his nose into relationships he has no business in. Ehecatl is a hopeless romantic, but as he has trouble forming coherent sentences around those he is attracted to, he isn't banking on finding the loves of his life (polycule, anyone?!) any time soon.

Using colored glass traded in from the outside he even works on colored lanterns from time to time though mostly he uses the glass to create more delicate and decorative baubles and jewelry. He trades his wares among the herd along side other artisans, though his social awkwardness some times makes it difficult and his owl companion winds up doing more of the wheeling and dealing. He wants for little more than he has now and only wishes to be of some service no mater how small to the denizens of the flock.

She loves animals and treats them with respect. Over time she may attract a group of permanent non-familiar/unbonded furry friends.
She loves books and libraries. To her, "Books are precious witness to history and culture." Over time she has traveled alone as a recordskeeper of all the cultures she has encountered. She prefers not to participate, only to watch and record. As part of the flock, I thought she could make good historian, librarian, scribe, storyteller, or Teacher of history.
Poetry is going to be her signature talent. Secretly she makes poetry of the best of what she records. As a profession, she may make a good lyricist for music, performances, storytelling, etc. provided someone finds the book "accidentally." She's rather guileless so it would be easy enough to do.
She is pretty young, barely an adult. She discovered the flock by reputation in her search for knowledge. Despite the danger and terrifying tales, she was impressed with their rich history. She thought they may accept her despite her gender situation. She seems antisocial but is actually not sure how she fits in with the flock yet. And she is awed by flock members' power and presence, as opposed to her more frumpy, awkward self.
Possible first encounter: captured as a stallion, clipped wings(?), then later treated as female/sister in spirit when the truth surfaced. How much later I would want to discuss. NPC(?) captor reminisces about one of their Teachers and suggests she inquire about the position.

Short Blurb on Character personality: Áed was born into the flock, never having known any difference. But he's happy to be in a protected place where he can be free to create with worry. He found his place among the crafters with ease. With his hands he could make delicate designs as they came to him and his size and strength allowed him to work with material that the more dexterous of the familiars couldn’t manage. He learned to smith early. It was difficult to keep his feathers from being singed so he often worked with buckets of water near him and kept himself drenched. This, however, wasn’t a great option in the winter as it would freeze his feathers to his skin. So he tried finding other crafts for the coldest months. When he saw all the baskets arriving to Avalyn and Lalita he also noticed a mare who’d been barren for a while looking sadly at their abundance. He found himself wishing he could do something to ease her pain. An idea came to him, perhaps if she gave a token to the spirits, she could have a basket of her own. So he thought on what type of token she might give. It took some time to draw the wire, find a way to color it, and get the weaving right. And doing it in secret just made it that much harder. But soon he was able to leave a tiny jeweled basket for the mare and the light in her eyes when she found it was worth his effort. Others, however, figured out where the basket had come from and started making requests . . . well, he’s very busy now with lots of tiny wire and no need to worry about how to spend the coldest months of the year.

Short Blurb on Character personality: Achak has always wanted a place where he mattered, a place that needed him as much as he needed them. Achak has a soft quiet way about him. He has a strong mysterious ora that most mares find very attractive. Achak is a giver and not much of taker and because of this his family has always abused the love he had for them. The Flock must have seen that need in him coupled with his clearly good genetics. He was taken one cool fall morning as he wondered through the woods. The woods was the only place he could think and he had wondered much farther then normal. It was fate.
It was hard to start out as an outsider but Achak was determined to learn. He worked really hard, for-going sleep and food sometimes, just so he could learn all the traditions, roles of both female and male, and where he might fit in. When it came time for him to pick a profession he chose the one thing he had been good at in his old life: Shelter building. He has a true talent of crafting and wood working and enjoys it very much.
Before Achak was in The Flock he was unsure of himself and quiet. Since The Flock he has truly found himself. He is passionate, loyal, and hardworking. Short Blurb on Character personality: +: Articulate, Talkative, Inquisitive, Curious -: Gullible, Moody, Finicky, Silly, Fussy A sucker for a good story, Xiemenes loves to talk to the newly captured males to learn all they can about the world outside of the Flock. Although they're not timid, they know better than to try to venture away from the Flock so this is the best way to gather new information to craft new stories to tell to the foals and colts that they nannies. They are often found working by a dim light, sketching depictions of scenes from the tales that they braid together, so that they can weave tapestries showing their version of the events. Sometimes the imagery is beautiful and colorful, and sometimes it’s dark and harrowing. It takes them months to weave a single tapestry, which they will work their fingers to the bone to get done before the Maker’s Markets open. Xiemenes absolutely loves spending time with the colts, spending most of their time with them (they seem to tolerate their incessant rants better than the adults). They hope that one day they can join a mare on a mission so that they can gather more imagery of the outside world for new tapestries, but for now, collecting stories and information from others is more than enough.

Short Blurb on Character personality: Ahm is a Whistler and an Artisan in The Flock and he takes pride in both roles. He is skilled in craft and he would outside the flock be seen as quite the playboy otherwise. Ahm would have grown up in the flock and knows nothing else and he loves his family and would die for any one flock member, be them blood related to him or otherwise. They are all family, even the newest member male or female, young or old.
He isnt the best dancer as much as he likes to try he just bumps into everyone and steps on hooves, claws, paws, and tails! Because of his 4 left feet he will stick to dancing by himself or in small groups with the young ones since they are just learning and he can pass off his clumsy feet as being silly instead! He isnt the best story teller either but if asked he will try his best, the only time he is a smooth talker is when there is someone that has caught his eye. He is a big flirt and knows how to appreciate beauty in all it’s forms and won’t hesitate to tell others this either. He doesn’t mean any harm, but it can get him into trouble at times. He can really talk too much sometimes.
Ahm also can become a little more eloquent in his words when it comes to bartering and trading for things, especially crafts made by others! He is an Artisan and takes great pride in his own work. But on the flip side he is drawn to the work of others and will search for new pieces for his collection especially on the chances those items may come from sources outside of the flock. He loves things that are different and that could inspire him to try something different or use a different method in making his items. He also will flip out over finding rare materials to use in his crafting as well. Sometimes he will geek out so much he will forget he is supposed to make things for The Flock too and not just for himself. He can have a little bit of a ‘dragon complex’ when it comes to this.
