Toby was admittedly a bit surprised at how efficiently Izzy worked when it came down to it...although having gone to the cafe a few times, he supposed it made some sense. No matter how much he complained, Izzy always seemed to do the best job he could.

Therefore, he wasn't at all bothered by mostly just fetching things and getting flour and sugar scattered around...and on his face.

"Very proud," he agreed with a nod. "I'm sure she'd be happy to know someone as deft at cooking as you to bring back her creations!" He swayed from side to side. "And look how perfectly you do those frosting lines! I can't wait to try one...But you can have the first one, since you did most of the hard work!"

Toby grinned when Izzy rubbed a bit of frosting off his face, and blushed a bit again. He laughed at the suggestion of love in cookies, but nodded along and assented. "Oh, if you insist," he said, and opened his mouth then leaned forward and chomped the cookie in half.

It was...quite good. Maybe a bit on the sweet side, but that's what teenagers are all about. Or something. Whatever the case, his face lit up. "Oh, ish' good!" he said, and then swallowed it.

“Well, uh,” Toby replied, face still red, of course. “It’s because of you!” He smiled. “I mean, you’re just so, uhh...” he waved a hand around, gesturing vaguely at Izzy. “I dunno how to put it. But it’s a good thing, believe me.”

It was, perhaps, stroking the ego a bit, but he didn’t care...not at all.

“Yeah, you can sell some, as long as I get free ones!” He said with a grin. “Dunno what to call it, though... Maybe something flowery? Like, uh...Carolinas’ Finest Festive Fabulous Cookies!”

Toby was grinning and nodding along, clearly pleased by Izzy’s reaction. His cookie name was mostly a joke, so alternates were fine.

That said, the one Izzy arrived at made his face turn beet red. “Th-that would be pretty great, yeah.” He stammered out, and nodded. “How would your mom feel about that, though...?” He smirked, though the color of his face didn’t fade.

Izzy's mom did seem the sort to approve of a name like that, Toby realized on reflection, though probably only so far as Izzy suggesting it...

"Oh, that'd be good too," Toby agreed, nodding. "But you should definitely take a copy of the recipe, in case you wanna make it in your fancy cafe kitchen, too!" He picked up one of the cookies. "For now, though, gotta eat another one, I think!" he declared, and bit down on it, then held up another for Izzy.

"That's okay!" Toby replied with a grin and a laugh, tilting the cookie up so that its crescent made a smile. "We've got plenty of pillows and blankets, after all!"

Though, come to think of it, he should probably get some more out of the closet. No real hurry, though.

"My mom also made some tomato soup and grilled cheese earlier too, if you want something other than sugar," he added.

"Heh, yeah, you could," Toby agreed, nodding. It had happened before, and would probably happen again, so he was prepared for the possibility of getting slept on.

"For Christmas? Oh, uh..." He scratched his cheek. "I dunno. Find me a cool picture to put on my wall!"
