"I'm sure we could find somebody," Toby replied coolly with eyebrows raised...and a small, amused quirk to the edge of his lips. He finally remembered his drink, then, and took a sip. "No, I'm not afraid," he replied, shaking his head. "That was...a bit of an overreaction on my part, I'm sorry. I mean--it's a real concern, but those guys can't exactly go around murdering everybody you talk to. So...I'm probably fine." "And besides," he added, gesturing to one of Arthur's ears, "All ya gotta do is make cat ears the hip thing around town, and then you'll completely blend in!" He laughed, then had more of his drink.

"Or just order a bunch and give them away. Make some kind of gimmick with them. People love that." He said, and had to wonder how easily humans readily took something for free and how the Negaverse could capitalize on it. Maybe he should start considering how exploiting the populace for the benefit of their safety and the senshi could be done.
"But ai think it's a valid concern. I'll hide my ears for now on. I'm working on modifying some hats to allow me to hear still with them on. Indoors, well, I'll just have to be considered eccentric."
"Oh, I ordered the supplies you needed." He turned the tablet over to him to show the delivery list. "There is a old warehouse they store supplies for some Mauvians a available for pickup. I can send a request for Senshi and Mauvians to help us do one large delivery. It's too much for just us to take on our own, but with enough volunteers, it should be easy enough."

“Oh, yeah, that could work too,” Toby agreed with a nod. “People do like free stuff a lot.” He rubbed his cheek. “Magic is weird, though, I know who you are, so I recognize it. But if someone doesn’t, would they notice anything off about you? Might be like that whole glamor thing, right? That’d make everything way easier.” Upon being told about the supplies, he grinned. “Oh, great! Thanks. I’m sure we can get it sorted out and handled without too much trouble.” He nodded again, and had some more of his drink. “So, uh...done anything cool with your new-found freedom?”

"Shopping. Saw a few movies. Public transport to get used to using it though I do feel a bit nauseous at times using it. Aside from that, well, I haven't been able to do much else. I signed up for a few classes within my daily limit but otherwise, I'm still a Mauvian. I can't full be me or show too much of myself."
He signed as he took his coffee. "Makes dating very difficult. Wish finding someone was easier."

Toby nodded. “I guess motion sickness would get pretty bad if you weren’t used to using buses and stuff,” he said. “It’ll probably get better, though. If not, there’s always dramma...something you can take.” He shrugged at the mention of dating. “I’m sure you’ll find someone eventually,” he said evenly. “Just takes time. And a little luck.” And someone willing to give a mauvian a try. In another time, Toby might have been willing...but he had his eyes on someone else, it would seem.

"I have to be careful with medications of any kind. I'm not human or a cat. The Mauvians keep a documented list if what to use though so I'll cross reference and see what they can prescribe me. I was kind of hoping to take driving lessons at some point. In emergencies, it would be nice to just drove people places or well - just transport larger equipment without that much of a fuss. Taking the bus is nice for now, but imagine being able to drive places." He smiled at the thought.
"Do you drive? I know someone who drives a motorcycle and that was pretty thrilling."
He was deliberate in distancing themselves from the past mood.

"Er, well," he replied with a little shrug. "I took driver's ed, so I know how to drive...mostly...but I don't have a car or anything, so, er," he waved a hand vaguely. "Not really." "I've never been on a motorcycle. What was that like?" That they were very obviously drifting away from their disagreement from before didn't bother him...Toby didn't exactly like being angry, or having arguments. He sort of avoided it as much as he possibly could, in fact.
