Roode, trying to quicken up the pace, gets up and picks up Kofi in the process backing him into a corner, and attempts to hit him with a knife Edge chop to the chest!

Kofi was hit with the knife edge chop and the crowd would react to the smack sound it would make. Kofi would remain against the turnbuckle rattled from the chop.

Kofi was hit with eight more viscous knife edge chops to his chest resulting him to stumble out of the corner holding his chest which he would feel like it was on fire right now!

Bobby would walk out to the ropes and once Kofi faced him he attempts a hard clothesline to take him down to the canvas!

Kofi was taken down with the hard clothesline and immediately upon instinct he would roll out of the ring, landing on the outside. He'd walk around shaking his head trying to regroup.

Bobby follows Kofi outside of the ring, grabbing him by the head and attempts to slam his head on the apron.

Kofi's head bounced off the apron and he'd stumble more towards a set of steel steps..

Bobby Roode was showcasing alot of agression here early on. He follows Kofi again, catching up to him and attempting now to land a right hand strike to his dome!

Kofi was hit with the right to his head, but quickly looked to fire back with a right hand of his own!

Roode was struck with a right hand in retaliation and staggers back a step giving Kofi an opening!

Kofi sees Roode off his balance and would quickly grab his hand, looking to irish whip him right into the steel steps!

Roode was sent into the steps, shoulder first and rolls over to the side favoring the area.

Kofi would then walk over to Roode and pick him up to his feet then rolling him into the ring. This was a singles match and countouts were legal but Kofi didn't want to win like that. He'd then roll in afterwards.
