“Alright then! I’ll take you on!” Buzzi found it hard to keep being nervous like he was when a scrap was calling his name. He didn’t like fighting with people when it came to being mad. But this? Organized fighting with no malice between them/ That sounded like one hell of a good time!

He fell into his stance too, not nearly as ‘professional’ as Nix’s was, but atleast it didn’t look like he’d be knocked down.

“So.... Do I get something If I win?”

“Get something if you win?” Nix echoed, surprised. He hadn’t considered that sort of question before sparring before... “Uh, sure, that’s fine. Er...what would you like to get?” He rubbed his cheek. “I could show you some cool moves, or places to look at the city, or...” He looked off the side. “Whatever.”

His fighting stance wavered a little as he spoke, but it didn’t completely go away.

Nix shrugged. Saying, really, there’s no conceivable way I lose right now if I’m trying, and, I don’t need anything didn’t seem like great replies. So he went with, “Ah, I’ll figure it out when the time comes.”

“So,” he made a ‘c’mon’ gesture as he spoke, “Let’s see what you got! Come and get me!”

He always figured striking first in this sort of thing wasn’t great form for him—He wanted to gauge what his opponent did, not how he’d react to a sudden assault by a super senshi.

Of all the things he thought Buzzi might do, Nix could safely say this wasn't it. Direct powers like his were pretty rare, so he'd come to expect others to not have them, either. Like, maybe Buzzi would summon a swarm of angry flies or something.

But nope.

That was one big big head. He blinked in surprise and took a step back, before slipping to the side... ever so slightly too slow, giving Buzzi the opportunity to actually sink those bitey-things in Nix's costumed arm.

The ferocity of the assault was surprising. Definitely a unique power they were dealing with here...

Nix's uniform, while perhaps more durable than a less magical bodysuit, wasn't impervious, so the bite broke through, and broke skin, too.

The sudden feeling caused him to let out a small gasp of pain, and he wrenched his arm free and jumped back, even as he felt a wave of dizziness wash over him. "Ho boy, wow. That's some attack there..."

"Yeah, yeah," Nix replied, waving a hand a bit. "I'll be fine, don't worry about it. I asked for it, after all." He was wobbling around, as the dizziness hit pretty hard, but he seemed to mostly keep his balance.

"Heck of a power ya got there," he said, shaking his head. Not getting attacked meant he had time to recover his balance, and keep the dizziness at bay. Somewhat, anyway. "Some senshi gotta really, uh, think outside the box to figure out how to use their stuff in a fight, but that, whew. Pretty clear." He nodded, and grinned. "See? All better. But in that time, you could really kick some jerk's butt."

"Yeah," Nix replied, nodding. "I'm fine now...seemed like it didn't last long." he shook his arm. "Though that smarts." He gave a thumbs up. "But I'm good, don't worry. I've had worse."

"You saw my magic," he said. "But I have a big magic frog tongue that I can use to grab stuff, or like...ninja rope. Can also poison people with it."

”Oh... yeah, magic uh... Cool tongue, you know. I’m glad you didn’t poison me, it would have made that night a lot less cool.” Ramble ramble ramble, that’s all he managed to do. But he was happy with his arm around Nix’s waist and getting complimented.

And then Arthur reminded him that he was still around and that little bitty tint of red he had grew apple bright.

“I... Well, I can’t exactly control it! It just goes bite bite bite and... I just... Well, whatever, it’s cool magic, Nix already said so! And I don’t think I won, it wasn’t fair, I just bit him and he like, keeled over!”
