He saw that she hadnt seemed happy that she was sleeping on the bed by herself but as he tried getting some sleep, he actually found that it was hard to get sleep on the hard couch. He was barely even asleep when he heard the whimpering, which a bit concerned he walked over and sat on the edge of the bed. He saw that she was having a nightmare and he gently held her hand, "Shh... its alright Caprice, im here, you're safe." He whispered, gently brushing her hair back to help calm her down.

Caprice calmed down after a couple moments of Cody brushing back her hair and holding her hand. She woke up and said "Scared....." as she looked at him sleepily, feeling safer with him around. Poor thing had been through so much, so it was only natural that she'd be scared of the dark. Especially, since they would cover up her cage at night so no light could get into it. Though Caprice knew she was safe, she was still worried that the ringmaster would steal her from him like he did to her wolf mama who lived in the wild.

Cody saw that she woke up and how she had been scared, he sighed as he laid down next to her, "Caprice, you are safe here, the door is locked in multiple ways, no ones getting in even if they had a key. And even if they did, they would have to go through me to get to you." He said sincely as he continued brushing the young girls hair, "Just think as well, when im finished here, Me and you are flying home, i live far from here which means their will be a lot of space between you and that place, he wont be able to find you anymore." He stated sincerely to the girl hoping she wouldnt be scared.

Caprice hugged her new papa as he calmed her down. She did go back to sleep after he finished talking to her and as he continued to brush her hair out of her face. As he did this, she snuggled up to Cody curling up in a ball like a wolf would do. Being that she was half werewolf, and half human, she did have some wolfish tendencies that caused her to be different than most people. She had no idea why her parents abandoned her. Her biological father really loved her but her biological mother never wanted her. her biological father died soon after she was born in a terrible accident. The only thing Caprice remembered about her real parents was that they yelled at each other a lot when she wasn't around, even though she could still hear them. It was her mother who ultimately abandoned her in the woods and left her with the wolves that had raised her until the ringmaster's 'talent scout' found her. The next morning, Caprice was feeling better and her fever had broken during the night. Currently she was waiting patiently in the room for Cody to return. She was sitting by the door like a dog would just staring at it and the clock. Cody had said what time he'd be back by and what it looked like so she was waiting patiently for that time to arrive. She'd perk her ears every time she'd hear footsteps outside the door, but they'd go back when she found out it wasn't him. She eventually went over to the bed, jumped up, and curled up with the blanket with the cartoons on the TV going. Not having seen a TV before, she was a little curious at first but since Cody had told her what it was for, she was laying on the bed as she watched the cartoons, giggling at the parts she found funny.

Cody found that she calmed down but now was curled up in such a way that he knew he couldnt get out of bed. He sighed softly but gently pet her head til he knew she was asleep. He had to get some rest himself so he got some sleep for the short early meeting he had the next morning. Which as he woke up, he got out of bed gently moving Caprice which woke the young girl. He took his suit into the bathroom and changed, but as he walked out, he turned on some morning child cartoons for her to watch, "Alright Caprice, ill be back soon." He said as he left but came back with a tray with a waffle, bacon and orange juice, "Alright, Caprice, ill be at work and i promise to be back as soon as I can." He said as he would leave. He was gone for a couple of hours but as he finished and came back, the electronic lock clicked as he walked in, but smiled, "Im back, sorry, how was your day?" He asked kindly to her as he walked in, hoping that she hadnt had any problems.

Caprice had eaten her food after he left. She perked her ears when she heard the click of the lock on the door. She then went over the door and sat seeing Cody coming into the room. When he asked how her day was going, she smiled and said "Me good! Dada?" as she smiled up at him with her tail wagging happily. She then hugged his leg happily as she was very happy that he was back with her now.

When she spoke, he had hesitated a bit because he wasnt sure about her calling him Dada, since he hadnt officially adopted her. He gently rubbed her head and sighed some as he would knell by her, "Caprice, you know im not... Im... im not sure how to take you shopping for better clothes. Im not sure what kind of clothes you want to wear." He stated softly as he couldnt bring himself to disappoint her but trchnically he wasnt her father. He jumped the gun in buying and helping her, not taking into account of how he wasnt sure if he could be her father or even raise a child.

HealingAssass1n ((Srry been a little melancholy as I usually get around this time of year. I always miss my mom at this time of year since she passed away and was a huge part of my life. So please be a little more patient than normal.)) Caprice's tail wagged as he rubbed her head and came down to her level. Though she could see he was hiding something from her. She decided to test it. "No want Caprice be family?" She asked hoping she was wrong, she could already feel her heart breaking into a million pieces as she anticipated that he didn't want to be her daddy. Then again, her own mama didn't want her, why would he? Caprice didn't show it but she wanted to cry her little eyes and run far away.

Icera The Wolf In my defense, i didnt know and im sorry about that. I hope you are doing well. He saw that she was a bit upset as he sat on the floor so he would be equal height to her, "Um, its not that i dont want to... im not sure i can." He said softly, "I bought you from the guy because I didnt want to leave knowing he would continue abusing you. I was angry with how he was treating you and was caught in the moment but i dont know if i could be your father. Im always working, i dont have the proper stuff at home... and i know that you are a very sweet girl who anyone would be proud to have as a daughter but i dont want you to be home alone, waiting for me to come home tired and unable to give you the attention you deserve." He said softly, "I just dont know if im ready to be a proper father, because if i fail, you will probably hate me." He said softly to her, he was worried about failing and not making her life better, making it just as bad as before, "Im worried you would be as miserable with me as much as you did there. Im sure I can find you a proper family who would give you all the time, love and attention you deserve, that im worried i wouldnt be able to give you." He said softly to her.

Caprice's heart shattered, she felt like no one wanted her now, as he said that. She was silent on the plane as she looked out the window, not knowing what to do as she sat in her seat. She curled her tail around her feet as she looked outside, hoping that against all odds that something would change Cody's mind. She trusted him, and only him. As soon as they got to her foster family, she hid behind Cody, refusing to leave his side. Her foster family was wealthy enough to give her the care she needed until she could find her own family. While her foster father was showing her around, she became more werewolf like, as her pupil's thinned out like a wolf's eyes when they were in danger. She bit the man showing her around before jumping out the window, into the tree, as the man was bleeding a little. She ran towards the park, crying. As she hid in some bushes, she curled around herself not wanting anyone to find her. She hoped that cody wouldn't find her either. If her own mother didn't want her, why would anyone else? All her life she was called a freak, and had been told that no one wanted her.

Cody looked at her when she sat on the plane, he had gotten her a change of clothes and had to ask one of the hotel staff, a female worker to help bath her since he figured she would need to be cleaned. That was a thing and a half but she was cleaned and he helped her dress in the new clothes he had picked up for her. He was sitting in first class, looking at her and felt bad, he knew how to read people and knew she was sad. He had found a foster family who had seemed really great and would help find the perfect family for her. He actually felt bad leaving her there, mostly because he knew she had imprinted on him and he worried about her safety. He had to go to work after that, since he dropped her off the morning after they landed. He was in his office speaking with someone about the deal he had just gotten back from sealing. He had heard his phone ringing and excused himself, answering, "Hello, Mr. Wulfe, Caprice is gone, she bit my husbands hand badly and jumped out the window, climbing down the tree. She ran off and we dont know where she is." the foster mother had stated as Cody excused himself from the office, having to leave early due to a family emergency, which threw his co-workers off a lot. He drove out to the area, the police had already been called and a couple of officers had been out looking around the neighborhood. Cody looked at the map on his phone, "Where would you go Caprice..." he said as he looked, he leaned back in the drivers seat, thinking about her, he was really worried. Thinking about her mannerisms, he realized as a wolf, he had an idea, be looked on the map and drove to the park. Getting out of the car, he walked around, "Caprice!" He called out her name, his tone was worried and a bit panicy.

HealingAssass1n ((Yeah srry about that. I type how I'm feeling in my character's posts and at the moment of that post, that's how I was feeling.)) Caprice could hear Cody but had given up all hope of ever being wanted by anyone. As far as she knew, she was a freak and nothing more that no one would ever want. She stayed quiet, before Cody would come a little too close and she began to growl at him. Backing away as her werewolf side started to show itself. Tears were rolling down her face as she was looking at him with angry but sad eyes. She felt betrayed by Cody, so she no longer trusted him. She backed up behind a tree on two feet. While she preferred walking on all fours, she had been walking on two legs since they had landed here. She held onto the tree as she growled at him, not wanting to get close to him again.

Icera The Wolf Its all good, i hope you are doing okay today. Cody looked around, calling her name out til he heard growling and saw her come out of her hiding spot. He smiled softly, a smile of reassurance as he was glad to see she wasnt hurt but he saw that she was scared. He looked at her, "Its alright Caprice..." he reassured as she backed up to a tree, which she hid behind and he knew she could bite him to keep him away but he gently walked to her. He came around the tree but before she could run away from him, he grabbed her arm to keep her from fleeing and pulled her to him. He had fallen to his knees, not caring about the dirt on his suit pants as he pulled her into a hug, "Im sorry Caprice, look, i know you dont like me, but i wasnt getting rid of you. I was trying to give you a better life, but i worried about you when i heard you ran off. Im so sorry, forgive me, i just didnt think you would like staying with me because i live in an apartment. I dont have a yard or much room for you to play in, not to mention i work a lot so you would be home alone." He said softly, gently moving where he stopped hugging but his hands were on her arms as reassurance, "Would you have been happy? Would you have liked me having to work all day leaving you alone?" He asked softly to her.

Caprice was a little taken back by the hug but gripped his shirt crying silently as she was hugged. "No care......Just want dada........" She said sadly before she hugged him again crying out loud this time before she buried her face in his neck. She didn't want to leave Cody's side. She continued to cry until she couldn't any longer.

Cody felt her grip his suit jacket as she cried into his shirt and burried her head into his neck. He could feel she was tired as he picked her up, "Alright little one, lets get you home, to my home." He said softly as he carried her, holding her with one arm as he called the foster family, "No, shes good, shes coming home with me... yes i know, but its better for her to stay with me." He informed as he talked but getting her into the back of his car, he buckled her in and drove to his apartment. He picked her up out of the car and took her up to the apartment, taking her to the bedroom room to rest, "Take a nap, ill be right outside, i have to call work, let them know why i left, ill be right back, i promise." He said gently as he would go out into the hallway, calling into work to speak with them about why he had left. His room was clean and modern, similar to the hotel but a little more personal.
