He'd had to assume the tablet functions weren't too complicated. There were relatively young children expected to use it, after all. Teenagers weren't the smartest or most useful of individuals. Rakovanite tried not to grimace at the thought. "I am not one to be overwhelmed by information," He responded quietly. "So long as it is all useful and not superfluous." Though it would, admittedly, be hard to decipher what exactly was useful to him...
He followed Lopezite's instructions to land on the contact page and found that it was hardly different than using a cell phone. Perhaps even easier, considering how much more recent models were capable of. If he tested the search function with those he knew, he found that he could pull up Fettelite's information, and Lopezite's as well.
"Mm, good." He gave a clipped nod of appreciation. It was beneficial that he didn't have to know the person to be able to message them.
With another nod to himself, he flicked the device back into its pen shape and clipped it to the collar of his coat. "Thank you for your patience and concern," Rakovanite said with a dip of his head. "If I run into anything I need help with, I'll be sure to let you know."

"Please do," Lopezite insisted, and offered one more polite smile before he raised his hand. "It was good to meet you, Rakovanite. I hope the next time we meet it's under better circumstances."
He planted his hands on his hips and looked around town; for good measure--and fairness, at least, he turned to the lieutenant. "I'm going to teleport out of here, I think. A little closer to where I want to be. Would you like a ride to the park, or would you prefer to stay here?"

He tipped his head again at the captain's words. 'Better circumstances?' Rakovanite couldn't see anything wrong with the circumstances as they were. Perhaps it had been confusing and disorienting to be teleported without explanation, but it had brought them to share the same space. It had allowed for them to meet, and Rakovanite couldn't see anything wrong with having another contact within the Negaverse.
But it wasn't a point worth arguing over. So long as he saw benefit in the situation, it wasn't necessary that everyone else did, as well.
So he gave a noncommittal shrug in response. "I was wandering around in this form to begin with. It seems irrelevant to concern myself over whether or not I do so here or there." He glanced up to the tops of the buildings that surrounded the alleyway. "I think it would be more useful if I acquainted myself with around here, just in case." Who knew if he woudl wind up here again, if any of them would. "But I appreciate the offer, Captain."
With introductions over and feeling as if that was dismissal enough, Rakovanite slipped around the other man and began to move away. If there was something else lingering around that had pulled them here, perhaps he would be able to find it, if he only looked.
