Pumpkin continued to try and redirect the kits while Smudge amiably kept up his impromptu lesson. But as things seemed to be escalating more in to kit chaos, she had to agree that maybe it was time to save the Arbor from a kit painting scandal. She laughed, hopping over and gently rounding up her little ones. Which really meant she snatched a wiggling Nightshade by his tail as he "attempted" to rescue his new friends.
"Thank you so very much for this lesson! It was very nice to meet you and I'm sure I'll be by again. Though maybe not with so many kits." She laughed again, giving someone a head pat (she wasn't sure who).
"Noooooo Mama, rescue frend!" Nightshade whined.
"Look, mama!" Freckled Apple said proudly hopping over and pointing at her painted dots.
"Mama, me too!" Silent Fog lightly patted at her and pointed.
"Great job, little ones! Let's go get cleaned up, hmm?" She tightened her hold on Nightshade, reaching a paw out to turn Freckles and Foggy in the right direction before grabbing Chill Mist's paw. "Tell Mr. Smudge thank you." She reminded her kits.
"TANK YOU."
And off they went to attempt a bath time.
