As he thought before, he grew tired of her prattling. Her do-gooder nature and the ignorance she held. It was draining to keep listening too, especially since there was no getting through to her.
"We? What is this we? Do you have a team? An organization? A leader? Some sort of council that sits and decides on what you do next? Or are you by yourself, roaming night after night hoping you'll find someone who will teach you the next step in your so-called goals? Or a meager life worth saving so you can pat yourself on the back to say 'I saved one, even though atleast a dozen more have perished tonight'?" 'Mali dropped his doll, leaving it on the ground before her, not quite setting it off just yet. And he put his arms behind his back, moving to pace about her. Looking her up and down, sizing up this naive creature.
She was pitiful. Blind, so much so that it was both baffling and endearing.
She would not last, and it was all Mali could do to warn her about it.
"I've said my peace, I have not the energy to argue more." With the snap of his fingers, his attack went off and the doll he set down before began to move.
Epine de Rose Sailor Scout Attack: Zube's Game
Mali Summons a Small Automaton named Zube and winds him up and places it on the ground. The Automaton is not activated until an opponent sees it, and can be picked up and placed elsewhere by Mali or another of his allies. Once someone looks at the doll, they are forced to approach it and follow Zube's Pre-installed Movements which goes as follows
"Three steps to the Left, Three steps to the right, Spin in Place, Raise right hand, left hand behind back, and Bow"
This action preoccupies the user for 5 seconds, and at the end of the 'performance', Zube explodes. The explosion is is minor, and is only strong enough send the opponent back a few feet, but no other damage is sustained

She was certain that somewhere out there a council of some description existed, there were senshi out there who had a plan and she simply hadn't found them yet or they weren't yet ready to make their move. She had no prove of this of course, there was no guarantee she ever would, but there was balance in all things and this level of darkness and despair couldn't exist without redemption...somewhere out there existed hope and she was going to find it.
This was perhaps why she seemed unaffected by his declarations and his distaste... He may not like what she had to say but she would keep striving for it. Eventually he would see reason, eventually he would see that there was another way, she just had to take the steps necessary to prove it. She'd get stronger and she'd soon rival those he seemed so concerned by.
...And then she would fell them.
Somehow.
"Just because you can't see them doesn't mean they aren't there," she replied coolly, pausing as he snapped his fingers. It was then that she heard the noise, his little automaton flickering in to life. At first her gaze hadn't been on it, but with her attention firmly drawn to it his powers to affect and unsurprisingly she followed the little being's dance routine to the letter.
What came next was sudden and gave no time for an expletive - Zube unloaded and she was unceremoniously held into the bushes with a muffled thump.

As expected, his attack went off without a hitch, and the senshi was launched into a bush.
"If they are there, then I hope you find one. Otherwise you'll be dead, or worse, corrupted like me." Satisfied with the result, Mali turned on his heel, taking a few steps, before jumping out of her reach, back into the darkness that he had come from not too long ago.
He knew better than to think too much about what she said. After all, no matter how good intentions can be, there would always be someone out there, ready to crush them. He could only hope that the girl would figure out some better way to approach people before her starseed was taken by someone even less friendly than he was.

He was gone by the time she managed to disentangle herself from the bush. She had to admit she was impressed by the complex structure of said foliage even if she hadn't enjoyed the struggle to get out, but the moment she had managed to haul herself from its centre, it was abundantly clear that he was long gone.
Suffice to say she had been summarily dismissed and with his duties already performed he hadn't needed to remain here. Her nose wrinkled in disappointment, she hadn't been getting anywhere with him yet but she could have kept at it and he'd eventually have seen her point. Maybe another time? Who knew...
For now she would be slightly more constructive with her time and check on those he had harmed; a few singed hairs on her head were fine, he'd done far more to those still lying prone nearby.
