"The senshi and knights. We aren't here to come out and change everything. We're just protecting Earth from foreign invasion and to preserve the best interest of the planet as the original rebels against the moon have done. There will be no massive annoucement when the day comes that the Negaverse wins across the world. The normal civilians will continue their days like any other just as they have always done." He explained.
The thing was, he didn't need to tell a questioning senshi what the long game plans of Metallia were. They could very well change things in order to secure their home or use all the surrendered senshi and knights to turn over their planets and wonders to expand the Negaverse reach. There was plenty that could be done after the fact but he wasn't Metallia and wasn't going to pretend to be as close or as important as the Queen. At least not yet.
"I'm sorry but there is no manual to magic. Everyones pulls from a different, foreign force and no one is about to reveal all their knowledge on it. And what is better for the people will always have a bit of bias to who you talk to. I can say I feel our side is best else I wouldn't risk my life all these years for it. But that wouldn't sound very convincing to a loyalist senshi who thinks their side is best. It's why we fight. No one can agree what's best for the planet and its people."
He shrugged and leaned against the railing, using the knuckle of his hand to rub at a eye. "Can we move a few steps in that direction. The spotlight is annoying me."
He got up and moved out of the bright halo into the darker edge of the street.
"Have you considered coming to our side? We could use a inquisitive senshi in our research team."

"So day to day life will remain...and this city won't be such a hell hole." He didn't ask, though he did seek some sort of confirmation. It was a good thing to hear, promising, but was that also what senshi wanted or would they wind up with some queen, or princess, to turn everything over to? Their moon princess was gone so what what they do if they won? He'd need to find someone to tell him that, or a few people, it did sound good to hear from the others mouth though.
"A manual to magic would be nice. I can't figure anyone would take the time to sit and write it though." Boring and useless, as he doubted most would read it. People were stupid, at least most were, and they didn't go the easier route sometimes even when they should. Sometimes harder was better but not always.
"At least you admit you're bias." Shrugging a bit as he spoke. "It's honest." Which some people weren't, even when it was obvious they weren't being honest. "I think the best side is the one which affects the people the least...the one which hurts, kills, and is the most disruptive of life is the side which is the worst. That's why I wanted to know which started the war in Destiny City...and what the goals are - what will happen if your side wins." He cared more about the people, about his own damn life after it all, and he would choose based on that. He was, to an extent, selfish and thought of himself.
"You move and I'll follow, pick where you're most comfortable." Motioning for the other to lead the way.
"I'm considering even as we speak - why do you think I'm asking you a lot. I'm not exactly a social butterfly. I'm only talking because I am considering. I'm not about to risk my life and then deal with s**t after it all when a side has won, especially not if I helped create a s**t life for myself and other people." A research team...what did the research exactly...?

"That's a good way to go about it. I couldn't count the number of officers and knights and senshi who run about in uniform because someone changed them and have no idea what their uniform means. They don't realize they could loose their life just wearing their uniform and that going out like that could get them killed. The gravity of the word war doesn't seem to hit home to then as much as it should, and there is a lack of that importance to press upon them to make them get it. Too many people die for a cause they didn't even know it care about."
"You are smart to try and figure your reason to fight on your own. I've spoken to senshi and I know the apparent lack of guidance and direction for anyone on that side. At least the Negaverse is accountable to who we corrupt by having them work on a team or under a senior officer to help train and teach them. So many members of order could benefit if someone stepped up and created a system to teach one another. As a result, so many of them die."
"Have they taught you things like the Negaverse, the Dark Mirror Court, and knights? Do your cats do anything to even help you? Do you have any materials to help guide you?"

"Considering I've lived in this city my whole life I've seen enough of the s**t, I assume, this war has caused. You'd imagine they have also and they'd come into this with more of a clue...some people whoever aren't exactly the brightest." Like the one he'd had to deal with at work. The people who grew up here, who were involved in this war, should be wanting to know which side would make things better in the end, which would fix the damages done, rather than stick to whatever side they were brought into or had friends on. It didn't matter if that side ******** everyone over, including yourself and your friends, what would it matter then?
"Some of the reason is purely selfish, I don't like the idea of screwing myself over in the short term and long term when it's all over. The rest is not wanting to ******** everyone else over. You'd think they'd want the same. I suppose some are just helplessly stupid." Shrugging his shoulders. It didn't matter to him one way or the other really, not if they wound up on the opposite side as he did. Though he supposed he'd even be fighting for their future, whether they knew it or not, he would do what was best in the end.
"Dying for the right cause is a good, just, thing. But dying for the wrong cause...is just stupid and a waste. The fact they don't seem to train their own seems like their stabbing themselves in the foot." And setting themselves up for failure ...not something he fancied really. It seemed they weren't likely to win things...though that didn't mean his, at present, side was the wrong side when it came to their reason for fighting, but it certainly was a nail in their coffin.
"Cannon fodder...that's what it sounds like they are. A way to stall the war...just throw bodies at it and eventually it'll go away? Or they'll come up with something....or not. That's not how it works." At least it didn't seem like a way to win a war of any kind - not really.
"No. I was brought in...went home with the cat and told a few things. Not nearly enough. You're the bad guys...the Negaverse wants to take over. I think the cat was upset that I didn't seem...thrilled about this all. It just seems like some Japanese anime turned real life - not appealing really." Shrugging his shoulders a bit as he spoke. He didn't much care if he upset the cat, well he did...but he didn't, but he was being honest here.
"So tell me what you can about the sides -all of them. What are they like and, with as little bias as you can, which side has the best intrest of the city and it's people in mind. Which is the least likely to ******** me over or, if it wins, have the people in the streets with pitch forks and torches trying to burn me for whatever I did?"

He stared back as if this was a dumb question because it was.
"Isn't it obvious? Why would I fight for this many years on a side I didn't believe in. I believe in the Negaverse a d would Kay my life for that cause. It has the best interest for the people at heart. It cares about it's soilders and trains them to not die. We have already taken much of this planet and do you see anything in the news about places burning and people rioting in the street? No. Under our protection, nothing changes for the people there to continue their own personal goals of happiness."
"The knights are run by the code and it cares about the strength in it's parts. The knights tending to its many pieces like overgrown gardens needing fixing up."
"The Dark Mirror Court cares about it's own. It doesn't care for this planet at all. It just needs a foothold. An anchor. Like a tick getting fat to live."
"And you know your side." He opened his hands out as if showing all the cards in the table.
"The rest you just need to see for yourself, but if you want to have actual guidance and help, come to our side a d I'll train you. Otherwise, you are on your own with the senshi." He said as he used his hands and leaned back on the ledge.
"I don't have much info to give you."

"Perhaps and yet I'm sure some people fight because they are told to - not because they believe in it. Too caught up in the thrill of it...in the...magic of it. How many know much of what they are fighting for and fight anyway? Considering what you said about the side I'm presently on." He figured given everything already established it was a legit question, at least to him it was. Shaking his head Hisoka felt a smile tug at his lips.
"So...all the knights care about are pieces of something....but not here - the people...the here and now. Something from the past." Rolling his eyes a bit at this. "That's rather useless considering they live here and now. At least the dark mirror are in the currant time...just not the right place, from the sound of it." At least they had it half right, a bit better than the knights as far as he figured it.
"On my own with the senshi? You mean on my own as far as it seems. On my own...leave out the senshi part. Not that I mind being on my own...not much for social gatherings and other people. Though I'm not much into dying either or ******** myself, a bit hard to do that and all." Shifting his weight a bit he tilted his head to the side, the smile turning into something more resembling a smirk.
"I do believe I have a good amount of information now, thanks to you. I'll make a decision soon...once I'm a bit stronger. If your offer still stands then...I think we'll talk. Though I'll want to know what changing sides will include. I'm not going blind into things. Next time I'll want to know about that." He did have things to do tonight, information to go over in his head, he had to get to sleep eventually as well.

He smiled. "Then maybe till we meet again. I'll make it a point to pass by here regularly then if you make a decision and want to talk." He said to him with a smile. He could give him a burner phone number but having that ability was asking for a way to set up a trap for him and he was far too paranoid for that. Passing by made planning traps harder to do.
"I hope your quest for find answers and place your Chip in the winning side goes well. It was nice speaking with you. Till we meet again "
And with that, he turned and teleported away.
