I'm starting to get tired of saying this. This is the first half of the list. I'm gonna put the second half of the list on another poll this weekend. So, machine will be on that list so will the others that aren't on there. So people can start complaining on that list instead of this one that so and so isn't on that list. Remember, there are 20 different types of monsters.

im goin with warrior monsters because they can support each other making dueling much eaiser for the duelist and making hell for the opponent, espically when they require little trap and few magic cards.

ive had a warrior deck for a year now and it has only lost 5 times, and it crushes spellcaster decks with ease

xD Crushes spellcaster decks with ease? I HIGHLY doubt that. Unlike Warriors, who need and I quote " Few magic cards " Spellcasters only need ONE. Magical Dimension would absolutely RUIN Any Swarm a Warrior deck would try. It would break the Marauding/Command Knight Lock. It would kill the Ben Kei Self Swarm. The only warriors it probably WOULDN'T kill are the Silent Swordsman series and Strike Ninja, just because he can dodge.

A swarm is much easier to pull off with a spellcaster deck, than a warrior deck. If you want to go in the matters of OTKS ( Which I hate, but they prove they have immense power ) Spellcasters have tons... Cybernetic Magicians.... DMOC, ... AGAIN, Magical Dimension.. There are just so many things to can think of, other than warriors, who have pretty much a straight forward plan. ( Swarm, Attack, Win. )

Not many traps are needed to back up spellcasters, since they pretty much protect themselves from that mess. Unlike warriors, which most of them dont have attack power over 2300, need anything and everything they can get their hands on.

I can harp all day, but when you say a Warrior deck can easily trounce a Spellcaster one, I have to put my foot down. ( Mind you, this is all opinionated. Don't take all of this to heart. )

I've had a warrior structure deck for about 4 months now, it has lost 2 times. I have beaten spellcaster decks, but that is because the people who used the spellcaster decks are complete duel idiots. They don't know how to use the cards to their fullest. Like Star Akamatsu said, spellcasters only need a very small amount of magic/spell cards. Now, I made my own spellcasters deck and dueled my warrior deck with it and have tied against them. My spellcaster deck is 50/50 and so is my warrior deck. I believe both need back up support from magic/spell and trap cards as possible because there are some type of monsters that can slaughter them is left unprotected.

Insects are being the PROWES of elite duelists around... watch out for the Chainsaw Insect!

xd Shadow of Infinity makes insects ROAR back! DOOM DOZER is the doom of insects... gonk
The first time i dueled him i luckily use Nobleman of Crossout on his first Parasite...
his Insect Barrier got a pain when he used the Parasite next round... xp

I've been looking for Parasite Parside ever since I've got Drill Worm. I quit looking for a few years because I got some pretty good cards then. Also, I like the insects some. I made an insect deck last month and it is made so that I can get "Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth" out.

o.o; Though, why would you need to waste time getting that thing out, when insects can obtain so much power... in much quicker methods than the moth?

I don't use my insect deck as much as my other decks. When I do use it, it is in a team duel so it is protected while my insects get their strength. Besides, I don't have that many insect cards that I can use in my deck. Most of them have less than 1500 ATK points and I don't have that many equip cards to give them. I had to combine my insects with Dragons and Pyros in the deck.

i'd say Warriors and Spellcaster. Warrior because they got me a 4/w 4/loss record at my first regional tournament in Nashville, Tn.(74th/231 in Feb. 2006)
Spellcaster because that's about all there is in my main deck now.

My main deck is now built as an all rounder.

It depends on what type of deck you are running...I run a Warrior deck so I favor warrior cards...if you run a dragon deck then you would more then likly favor dragons...each types have there ups and downs...

Warrior of course. They have the best spells, traps and monsters. Plus, aren't the Elemental Heroes Warrior?

But in every YuGiOh! video game I've played so far, except my first one, Machines ahve been my main thing. The X, Y, & Z monsters are great in addition to all of the other mechs that kick butt like Drillago (awsome with Limiter Removal), Cyber Dragon, Emes the Infinity, and more. twisted
