Seika had been spending a slow day at the hospital triage without much of anything come up and was using her time to familiarize herself with information about the current inpatients and their needs. Her concentration was abruptly disrupted to the point of startling her as she hadnโt expected the door to suddenly swing open, barely noticing the person use her name as she needed to the files she has started to drop. Grabbing the few called papers quickly she then brought her attention to a chuunin whoโd decided knocking was out of fashion and told her there was an emergency patient away to arrive and that she was to care for them, also noting that they were a foreign shinobi but not specifying from where from.
She gave a the other shinobi a look of understanding, getting to her feet and heading to meet up with the patient and their escort, awaiting them at the appropriate entrance with a wheelchair on hand and a concerned expression on her face when she saw the field medics and any other escorts bringing the weathered man. She trundled the wheelchair over to the Theodin as he introduced himself to and thanked the field medics for their help, explaining the position heโd been in for an apparent decade.. such information making her feel for the man and his village as a whole. Speaking up as Theo finished what he was saying, so as to politely gain their attention โHello Theodin, Iโm very sorry to hear of what has happened to you, Iโm glad you were able to reach here considering your condition.... you made the right choice and you are safe now, so please sit down and Iโll get you inside so we can begin looking you over! My names Seika and youโll be in my care for now, I promise to help you to the best of my ability.โ She said, giving a small bow as she started speaking before reaching out to, with the aid of one of the field medics, guide him gently into the wheelchair before she began wheeling him into the build whilst one of the field medics gave her a rundown of what clear and suspected injuries and other likely or clear concerns.
She brought him to a private room, under the impression there were likely to be people with questions here soon, thus she could not insist he rest or be brought in for heavy treatment in the immediate, despite the fact his body was an exhausted mess, healthy considering the abuse heโd clearly been through but he needed care. After bringing him up to the bed she would walk around to face him and extended a hand of assistance โNow Theodin-san, please allow me to help you up so I can look you over and find out exactly what youโre going to need, do you need something for any pain or discomfort?โ She said whilst helping him up and onto the bed, her words were soft and filled with a level of concern, although not in a way that showed she lacked confidence in caring for the Suna nin.

Theodin would let the new medic help him into the wheelchair and into the bed when they reached what would apparently be his room for the time being. When the medic asked if he needed anything for pain, Theo would shake his head slightly, โNo thanks... most of these injuries are pretty old.... I put up a bit more fight in the early days of my captivity before I decided my best bet for survival was to cooperate and bide my time until I could make a break.. lucky, I guess, that my captors didnโt actually want me dead... they healed the wounds from the torture sessions at the end of each one, though incompletely so Iโd still be in pain. Iโve just gotten used to it at this point...the biggest annoyance is that they also covered me in chakra seals, preventing me from using much of my chakra at once. If I could just break some more of them...โ Theo would force himself for a moment,feeling chakra surge through himself as most of the rest of the chakra seals finally broke. โthere... thatโs almost all of them...โ reaching up to rub his head, the burst of energy having given him somewhat of a headache,Theo would chuckle slightly and shake his head, โDamn... maybe that was a bit much given the circumstances, at least all at once.... Iโm sorry, what was your name? Donโt think I heard it earlier...โ heโd turn back to the young medic with a slightly apologetic smile.

"Man. A survivor, huh? We all kinda' trickled in during the first five years. Not all of us but the ones who went the way to Whirlpool. I didn't know they took prisoners. " The guard who was first to assist Theo at the gates introduced himself as Seiichi and he wasn't as young as he was as a genin in the Hidden Sand. But he still wore his brown hair in a carefree, feathered mess like he was still a boy under the desert sun. He had the luxury of trading his earthen tones for more a more vibrant uniform under a different banner but had to prove his worth all over again. The look on Seiichi's face was almost alike guilt after hearing what Theo went through. The guard pursed his lips as he listened while Seika worked. " It's like listening to a big ghost story." He grins painfully and nods his head as he voices an apology, "sorry, sorry. Ah. More importantly, it's good that you've made it here." Not entirely in one piece, it seems. "Thank you," Seiichi said to Seika. "We're just equipt with the essentials at the gate for the regular ranks. Field medics cover the rest. But help here seems to a make the difference. Now. Regarding your request," Seiichi said as he turns to Theodin. "I will personally see that your request is heard. Lahlil is occupied with something urgent but I image the matter should be taken care of. Is there anything else I can help you out with?
Theo couldnโt help but chuckle when the young guard, apparently a former Suna shinobi himself said his story sounded like an old ghost story, even though the laugh made his ribs and head hurt a little more. โI donโt think they were out for prisoners for the most part... but the sons of bitches hunted me for a couple years before I swear they put a whole battalion of trackers, sealers,and soldiers against me and a friend.โ His eye would water at the memory of that battle and his first night in captivity. โAnd I wish it was an old ghost story, kid...I really do...โ when he mentioned passing his request on to Lahlil, Theogrunted slightly, โThat name sounds familiar... sounds like quite a few people ran here from Suna the past few years..โ Laying back, Theo caught the young guard asking if he needed anything else, โI donโt think so... except... once Iโm out of here, can I have leave to explore any shops here ? As you can see, my old armor isnโt much use anymore.โ He would finish that last line with a gesture to his tattered old flak jacket, the only bit of equipment from his past the SIF soldiers let him keep, even if they shredded it basically.

Accepting his answer with a nod Seika would move around inspecting Theo whilst he spoke, the man being familiar with medical technique would easily be able to tell she had started using the most basic of medical techniques, the Diagnosis Jutsu. She listened to his story and clearly payed attention to him, not bothering to look at a clipboard she began to write on with the hand not being used for the Jutsu that nspected him. Now she only had a standard amount of knowledge for someone who was only a child when the UHV ran rampant and terrorized many of the nations, Suna being one of the ones that was basically annihilated and a lot of it people killed or displaced. The information was chilling but she tried not to let it show, her expression remaining soft but her eyes hinting at her getting a little internally worked up over what she was hearing, feeling that Theo was talking about this almost too casually making it clear how strong the man she was attempting to care for was as a shinobi.
Upon mentioning the chakra restraining seals that he been burdened with by his captors and that they were a hassle, he decided it was appropriate to try and break some more of them in the state he was in with some success and expected side effects. Seika shot Seiichi a glance which indicated her disapproval whilst Theo cradled his head so as to indicate she wasnโt thrilled the man was trying to break the seals in his current condition. Choosing to stay quiet for the moment, at least that is until she was asked for her name โIt is ok Theodin-san, my name is Haruno Seika, but Seika is fine! Do try to take it easy, we can have another shinobi remove any remaining ones soon, youโve been through a lot, thereโs no need to push yourself anymore.โ She said give a small bow of her head as she re-introduce herself, looking upon him with warm, gently eyes and an equally warm smile, knowing that those words could be met with distrust after so long, but wanted to man to feel safe and not trapped, her mouth becoming more neutral when Seiichi began to speak.
After a few more seconds she ended the diagnosis technique, scribbling words on the clipboard quickly whilst Seiichi spoke, choosing to reapond to Seiichis thanks with an acknowledging nod and mouthed a polite response so as not to interrupt them, as sheโd likely have reassured the other shinobi that the field medics role was just as important as care in the hospital if the circumstance more casual. She then created a pair of shadow clones and handed on the clipboard before shooing them off to go take care of a couple of things related to the mans care, both quietly excusing themselves as they went out of the girls polite habit. Now it was time to work, the mans ribs having been hurt was labouring his breathing and affecting his bloods circulation as a whole, thus was the first injury she was going to deal with, beginning to create one handed signs with each hand separately at a casual pace which took enough time to show it was fairly advanced and she inhaled to focus her chakra and also so as to speak a quick warning.
โThis is going to hurt a bit at first.โ She stated softly enough so it wouldnโt interrupt the other two but be able to be heard and not be a surprise, extended each hands palm toward him, a cyan blue glow from one and more greenish from the other. With these techniques she would be healing the damage to his ribcage and chest area simultaneously, the initiation of such a healing process would likely start sharp and sudden, dulling out and becoming bearable after only a couple of seconds. Her face would show a good amount more concentration, maintaining two complex healing techniques simultaneously wasnโt exactly easy stuff but Seika was intent on fixing as much damage to the best of her ability, if Theo would look at her she would give a light smile out of habit. The effects of her techniques wouldnโt be instantly noticeable but by the point Theo would be requesting to later go to the marketplace when he was better, the pain from laughing or breathing in his chest would be getting noticeably faded and less impeding, although it would take a good bit longer before she would done there.

โAh, nice to meet you Seika,โ Theo would say quickly as the young medic worked, eventually hearing her warm him that the techniques she was about to use on him might hurt a bit, Theo would chuckle softly. โAfter living the better part of a decade with the injuries.... not to mention having my eye manually ripped out of its socket... some slight pain from your treatment is nothing to worry about.โ Theo would say cheerfully, not wanting to worry the girl. As he felt his ribs shift and reheal, Theo would start taking slower and deeper breaths as his full lung capacity was restored. Thinking for a moment, the big man would smirk slightly,โHmm, I wonder how much better my stamina is now... after all these years training with diminished capacity.โ When it clicked that she had mentioned bring in people to break the rest of the chakra seals on him, Theo would shake his head, โI donโt wanna be a bother to anymore people than I have to. I mean Iโm sure there was some other patient that coulda used your attention instead of busted up old me.โ Theo would lay back as his breathing got back to what he remembered as his old normal. โAh, thatโs much better...โ he would sigh as he scanned himself a bit and saw some of the cuts and scrapes he had, some of which were surprisingly still bleeding a bit. โHere, Iโll help speed this up a bit...โ heโd say calmly as a green light started to glow around his right hand.sliding it over his arms and across his stomach, Seika and Seiichi would see his cuts and scrapes all close up without much of a scar being present.

It was nice how pleasant the man was all things considered, Theo had suffered for a long time, treated as no human should and it would make sense it he wasnโt as reasonable or considerate as he was being. She smiled at his positivity over her treatment, she felt sorry for him due to what he had been through and wished he could have been helped a lot earlier, alas this was impossible and she had to resign herself to helping him now. "You will start to feel more like yourself after a few days, full rehabilitation will take longer, in fact taking those will be the first step, Vitamins!โ She responded to his comment factually with a little bit of enthusiasm to try and match his positivity and not have a poor bedside manner, nodding her head a clone arriving with a tray that had a large glass of flavoured water with a few vitamin tablets, placing on the table beside Theo before attempting to assist him take it.
She was pleased to see that her treatment was working even if unenthused on his refusal of having her get someone to help remove his seals, the idea that it might cause someone unneeded trouble was a bit of a wrong thinking process, especially the part about someone else coulda been getting tended to rather than him. The surprise that he knew medical jutsu when the man started to assist her treatment.... with a stronger and more efficient Jutsu than she was using was, she could learn from this! The fact she was impress was something not evident on her face, the girl more focused on what he had just said before that, a small frown crossing her face just before she spoke in a direct way, her tone carrying matter of fact tone to it โTheodin-san I appreciate that youโre trying to be considerate but I feel the need to point out that my job is to help the injured or sick, Iโm a medical ninja and not a single patient is a bother to me. From something serious to a simple cut or even a false alarm from my hypochondriac neighbour at 2 A.M., I would take the time because it would be a bother not helping, so please know you can lean on us until youโre all better, friends help each other, right?โ looking to Seiichi for confirmation to her words, suspecting he held the same sentiment as she did.
The pink haired girl ended the healing techniques sheโd been using on his torso, the mans Jutsu would easily finish the job she started so she to the leg he had been limping on. โI will work on your leg now, again this might ache a bit, after Iโm done treating you leg thereโll only be a few cuts and bumps left, so as long as you come back to rest and be observed in the evening, youโll be free to walk about. She informed him with the same soft and polite tone as before, her hands repeating the motions to begin the healing of his leg which would feel some discomfort again, followed by the relief. The clone would be busy scanning the mans face rather closely in an attempt to gauge his ocular injury until satisfied with whatever information they had gathered and released itself in a puff of smoke.
It took a minute but Seiichi had a managed a reply amidst Seika's work. "Hmm, yes. Let me see," a business to nab some armor. "Metal Matters is the name of a shop in the Bazaar. Pretty swagger guy runs the place. Workaholic. Makes an honest living slaving for an anvil for armor." The guard backed himself into the seat of a metal chair and rubbed his chin admist thought. "But, uhm, honestly if you're the type who's crafty with his hands there the forge built up by the Whirlpool smiths. Hum. I guess I oughta' get you a map." His stay wasn't long. Seiichi promptly stood with the thought to get a map. "I should go get your request processed too. I'll try not to be long." Seiichi snapped his fingers, fudged a gesture that was between a salute and a wave, and left. "I'll be back!"
Theodin would rest back after the bit of medical jutsu heโd used as he listened to the younger medical nin give him a hard time about not wanting to be a bother. โEh, I get where youโre coming from, Iโm just used to my old days as a front line combat medic before the Sand village fell... We were trained to take care of ourselves rather than each other, so that we could keep the others alive that didnโt have medical training...โ heโd say calmly before taking the water and vitamins from the clone. โThanks.โ Heโd say quickly before throwing the pills in his mouth and knocking back the cup of water in a gulp. โAh... havenโt had good clean water in a while... honestly Iโm pretty sure my old captors were giving me small doses of poison to keep me too weak to fight.. โ when Seika mention itโd probably be a couple days until he was back to full form, heโd nod slightly, โAlright... so lay off the training for a little while, Iโd guess?โ Heโd say with a slight chuckle
When she started working on his leg, Theo would feel a twinge of pain as the bones shifted to heal more correctly than the half crooked way they had been reset during his captivity. The pain didnโt bother him though and he showed no real reaction that could be noticed. After a couple minutes, the old ninja would lightly flex his knee and ankle to test the more fluid movement. When Seiichi mentioned a shop where he could get some new armor, or that he could use the public forge to make his own, Theo nodded to the younger man, โI ainโt much of a blacksmith... was always a lot better at blowing stuff up than creating.โ Heโd chuckle slightly at himself before continuing, โMetal Matters... alright, thanks, Iโll check it out.โ When the man gave his salute wave thing before leaving, Theodin would just return a curt nod. When the clone of Seikaโs started inspecting his empty eye socket, Theo would laugh a bit, โNot sure how much can be done for that,โ heโd gesture to the space where his green right eye used to be, โhead interrogator ripped it clean out and ate it m first night after I was captured.... after I spat in her face... cuz she was expecting me to betray the secrets of my home village... guess they werenโt smart enough to crack the security we put on stuff without getting me to tell them how.โ The old soldier would scoff at the thought, โAt this point, the blood supply is all scarred over, not to mention damage both from trauma and atrophy of the optic and oculomotor nerves...โ Theodin would shudder slightly remembering the pain of that first night, when his eye was ripped out.

Had time actually passed? A knocking at upon the arch of the door and Seiichi revealed himself with a smile. He nods to Seika before stepping around to Theo. โThis," he revealed a shiny pamphlet from behind his back. "Is yours." Seiichi proudly presents the map and unfolds the colored paper to reveal its print. A map that was printed for touristsโ was the safest bet for someone out the blue. The map listing the quintessential: a point for the administration building, sight-seeing spots for Takijinsei falls, museums, the police station, the hospital, clinics within the village, shopping districts, and Seiichi took the liberty of lightly circling popular places to grab a bite to eat. The backside sported printed trivia about popular festivals in season and cultural attractions. The guard folded the map back up and placed it on a table in reach of their wounded guest. โAlso hammered out the details. Youโll be speaking with one of the advisors. s**t part is that they wouldnโt tell me which one. Anyway,โ Seiichi shrugged and dropped his hands to his side. He gave up fighting bureaucracy. โThe important part is theyโre expecting you and will escort you to the meeting place,โ Seiichi took a slip of paper on it that had the signature of the office worker, a date, and time. โLetโs call this the appointment card,โ the guard laughs and places it with the map. โThe advis-โ Someone hurrying into the doorway of the examination room promptly calls, โSeiichi. Weโre needed! Quickly!โ A fellow guard in uniform looking harried by the call.
โAh? I'm sorry. Duty calls. Good luck Sir.โ Seiichi said, snapping his fingers with another wave and hurried after the doorway. {Exit} ooc: You are free to your own devices so you can blend into the story as you see fit!

Seika decided the point he gave was valid on an efficient level when it came to his trainings view on the need for medical techniques and self sufficiency, Seika was generally self sufficient so that aspect never really occurred to her. She smiled at his non chaos time reference to training and gave a nod but added โNo training right away but if you want to Iโm sure we can work some into your recovery, if we can remove any toxins and lingering side effects from your body and feed you properly then it could be quite a quick recovery, even if you might not be at 100%.โ A confidence in her words that could be reassuring. Nearly done on his leg and her clone vanishing after its look over, the real Seika looking to him as he basically define the idea of healing it as hopeless, which it was, the additional details visibly causing her shock and contained anger, one of her hands finishing its Jutsu as she reached her hand over to her shoulder and get it a squeeze.
โYou were brave and went through so much but held on and stayed loyal, your village would have been proud Theo, Iโm sure others like Seiichi will be thrilled to hear about your ! If anything, try to think of that whenever reminded about your eye, itโll help with the memories.โ She told him in her sympathetic and caring tone, her soft voice only quavering at the beginning as again, the information made her a bit angry to say the least, Theo had been kept by savages. Seiichi would arrive just as she was finishing on the mans leg, the clone which went to buy the man some nice stew/soup arriving as Seiichi brandished the tourist pamphlet. The young medic close her hand a few seconds before the other shinobi finished speaking, putting the container of food on the table beside Theo before grabbing and writing some things down on the clipboard before tearing off the sheet as her superior left. โSo we got you some food in the bag here, itโs really delicious but you need to pace yourself just in case, then if you follow the little map here, you can go wash up before you go off anywhere, I suspect you might like the opportunity!โ
The girl pointed at a couple folded towels and hanging bathrobe in a small cupboard opposite the foot of the mans bed, so her knew where the supplies were. It was about then another young Medical shinobi stopped at the door and called Seika over, who joined her outside the room for a minute or so, Seika expressing she would be a few minutes before returning. โNow Iโm sorry to say that some things have come up and Iโm going to be needed for something else important, so id like to say Iโll be back later tonight to give you a check up, but I donโt know what Iโm needed for and canโt say if itโll allow me to.โ She gave him an uncertain look, before double smiling again and giving him a bow, โIt was a pleasure meeting you Theo and I promise youโll be better before you know it. When I have time and know whatโs going on, I might ask you for some of your time if you might have any.โ Seika finished her bow and held up a finger to indicate she would be a second, reaching into the pouch at her side, pulling out a sealed white wrapper than when opened would provide the man a medical eyepatch. With that she would grab her clipboard and jog of as she had somewhere to be.

When Seiichi returned with the map of the village and explained everything about him talking to an advisor to the Hokage, as well as how he had marked off good places for him to find food and everything on the map,Theo would nod to the younger man, โThanks, Seiichi, Iโll probably hit the bazaar and grab myself some new gear first then head over to meet with this advisor... wouldnโt look too good to show up in this tattered old flak jacket of mine.โ Heโd chuckle slightly until he noticed the guard get called away by another that looked kind of concerned. Making a mental note to ask what was going on when he met with the advisor, Theo would listen to Seikaโs speech, catching the quiver in her voice. Nodding to the girl, โThanks Seika, I just hope all the years of pain and the loss before that donโt wind up being in vain in the end.โ When she set the food tray next to him and indicated the shower and stuff, Theo would thank her again before noticing another medic calling her out, also seeming concerned about something. โGo handle what you need to, Iโm stable, and can probably finish my own healing myself, donโt worry bout me.โ
Once both medical nin were gone, Theo would grab the bath robe and a towel and step into the shower, hanging the clean stuff over the door. Heโd then strip off his shredded old flak jacket as well as his old clothes that while worn were still intact.in the shower, the big man would take time to wash the old dried blood out of his hair, even gritting through washing out his empty eye socket as well as cleaning off all the years of sand and dirt from his body.once he was done, heโd dry off quickly with the towel before putting the robe on and carrying his clothes back to the bed. Holding his shirt and pants, he would extend chakra through them and watch as all signs of contamination disappeared before he got dressed again.hed then quickly wolf down the food, letting out a small sigh of relief at having a comfortably full stomach for the first time in a while before inspecting the eyepatch Seika had given him.
Putting his boots back on, Theo would don the eyepatch and look at himself in the mirror. โOk, youโre all cleaned up, might need to make a better looking eyepatch eventually... lets go get some new armor and weapons... from the feel of things, Iโm gonna need it soon.โ With that he would check himself out of the hospital, map and appointment card in hand, and head for the bazaar. Exit

Mina watched with cold eyes as her iron sand enveloped the samurai, staring down at him in his final moments before his body was crushed. Blood burst out from the cocoon of sand the girl had created and sunk uselessly into the warzone. However, after a few moments, Minaโs hold over her composure broke. She stumbled forward, just a half step, as the weight of everything hit her all at once. Tears formed in her eyes as the visage of the manโs face in his last breath floated into her mind.
Sheโd just killed a man. It wouldnโt have been her first time, since in New Verales she had killed many men. But the redhead could at least attempt to justify it back then by saying it was an accident. But here, now, Mina had deliberately chosen to end the life of another. The reality of it all made her fall to the ground with shuddering, hollow breaths. Mina felt like she was going to be sick, and soon after she was. Her vomit spilled to the ground, mixing with the blood and dirt, the smell mixing with the burning ashes of war.
The next day, Mina sat in her room in the hospital. It was where sheโd been before the war, too, after her incident at New Verales. A bare room, just a bed and a nightstand with a lamp. Mina, too, had been stripped of her usual gear and her typical clothes, wearing just a set of uniform scrubs. Combined with some type of seal that made it impossible for her to mold chakra, Mina knew that this wasnโt just a hospital room. It was a prison.
The girl sat on her bed, her knees curled up to her chest and her arms wrapped around, her eyes blankly staring at the wall on the other side of the room as her thoughts were simultaneously rushing through her mind, yet producing nothing.
A knock on her door brought Mina back to reality. She hoped against all hopes that sheโd see the small frame of Kotori Hyuuga coming through the door. Not that Mina truly expected the girl to see her. Not after everything that happened. But if Mina could find the solace in the company of one person, it would be her, and that alone made her heart hurt immeasurably.
So when her adoptive mother, Zakaki Takatsuki walked into the room, the girl felt nothing but disappointment.
โGet out.โ Was all Mina said, her tone cold as she looked back to the wall
Zakaki made a noise not unlike a small sigh and shut the door behind her. โMina, please, I just wanted to make sure youโre okayโฆโ
โPeachy. Get out.โ Mina wasnโt giving the woman a lot to work with, and for good reason. Her usual familial banter with her mom was less than non-existent now.
โMina,โ Zakaki said, softly, in the way a mother would. โPlease, I know youโre hurting. So drop the act and lemme help ya, kiddo. Iโm worried about you.โ
โYou know?โ Mina snapped, whipping to look at Zakaki. Even without her chakra, Minaโs eyes were full of fire and anger. โSo you know what itโs like? To be lied to for your entire life?!โ The girl rose to her feet, the tile cold against her bare skin. โThanks to YOU, I donโt even know who I am anymore!โ
โMinashiba, you do NOT talk to your mom that way!โ
โGood thing you arenโt my mom!โ Mina yelled back. She clenched her fist as all of her emotions came pouring out all at once. Her anger of her past being hidden from her. Her sadness, from not knowing who to trust anymore. Her guilt at everything that had been done by her hand, directed at the one person beside herself she could blame. โYou never have been!! I donโt know what kind of sick pleasure you got from lying to your โdaughterโ for over a decade couldโve possibly been! But was it worth it?!โ Hot tears welled up in Minaโs green eyes as flashes of memory with Zakaki flashed before her, never knowing at this point which were real and which were fabricated as her defense mechanism. Mina took note of the look of stunned silence that Zakakiโs face had formed, and deep down Mina felt guilty about that too. But right now she was too hurt, too sad, to angry to give a damn.
โWas this what you wanted to happen?!โ Mina started to sob angrily as she gestured wildly around. โIf you hadnโt lied to me then maybe she wouldnโt haveโฆ then no-oneโฆโ Mina was struggling to remain coherent through her emotions. It wasnโt that she couldnโt find the words, quite the contrary. Mina had too many words, and they all wanted to spill out all at once now that sheโd unbottled them. Mina shook her head and took in a deep breath. She closed her eyes and seemed to calm down, but her body was still visibly shaking with fury. โGet out.โ She repeated, her tone harder than steel and twice as cold. โGet out, before I kill you too.โ Mina wasnโt sure if she meant it as a threat, or as a warning for being in too close proximity to her. But whatever the case, the sentiment stood. Zakaki, who had been brought to speechlessness, quietly complied after making a series of noise that indicated she was trying to find the right thing to say.
The one person whoโd ever raised Mina like a mother shut the door behind her with a click, leaving the redhead alone in her room again. She returned to her bed and, after a few silent moments, began to cry.
Battlefield Presence โ The user's powerful presence on the battlefield strikes terror into their foes. Opponents are able to sense the user's terrifying fighting spirit five feet from the user per body rank of the user through chakra sense. Those within range can have this radiating fearful aura become the trigger for genjutsu, allowing genjutsu to be cast by acknowledging the user. In addition, should an opponent be targeted by a melee technique that is greater in rank than the target's body rank that target has tier two paralysis applied to their legs, requiring it to be broken by Kai equal to the user's body rank, costing the target no action for that specific instance of kai.
Lasting Hypnosis โ The user's genjutsu prowess has achieved a heightened level of potency and lingers for longer. The primary sense of any genjutsu that was released using Kai lingers for [1] additional post. This residual effect is minor because the manipulation of the target with the technique has ended. For example, a complete darkness sight genjutsu that was dispelled may leave the lingering feeling that the world is still a bit darker than it is in reality. If a genjutsu used a mental status effect then it will linger for [1] post longer at one level below what it was before at a minimum of level one. Originally level one mental status effects are too weak to linger. The base duration of your genjutsu are increased by [1] post at E-C, [2] at B-A, and [3] at S and above. Instance genjutsu are not affected by an increase of duration but instead cannot be dispelled by kai and only by pain. Genjutsu upkeep lessens by [5] Chakra per body rank and non-Instant are applied with overwhelming, requiring lingering genjutsu to use [1.5x] the resource to Kai.
Erudite Academic โ You compromise on excelling at one to be proficient in both sealing and sensory. The Academic's body is considered a scroll so seals can be used and stored on your direct body. Your body may be treated as three scrolls equal to their body rank. If you are double class and have a second discipline from this class then you may add the five slots to your mirrored amount of ninjutsu, using these techniques for ninjutsu, sealing and sensory. Fuuinjutsu and sensory skills do not require handseals and are one rank less in chakra cost (Following the one rank max reduction rules) All three of your actions can be used on fuuinjutsu and/or sensory for one post every three posts in combat. In addition, the duration of all sealing techniques and all sensory techniques are increased by two posts. Finally, Erudite Academic Ninja have the ability to Korabo their fuuinjutsu and sensory for 1 action with varying cooldowns depending on the rank of the techniques. E-D - None C-B - 1 A-S - 2 S+ - 3
โฑโฐโฑ Flames of Salvation | The user's effected fire based techniques effected by the active flame are reduced by 5 chakra for every other rank of the technique. ( D, B and S Rank ). In addition, fire based techniques are considered one rank lower against the user.
โฑโฐโฑ Inferno Mastery | The user gains four additional ninjutsu slots to be used specifically for katon techniques per body rank. Additionally, hand signs may be executed with one hand. The user's fire techniques all cause an additional post of burning while adding an additional tier of burning/burns to fire based techniques.
โฑโฐโฑ Fanning Flames | The user's fire based techniques may be doubled in size for no additional cost. This does not effect the strength of the user's fire based techniques. In addition, should the user's fire ninjutsu or clan techniques interact with another fire based technique, the user's technique steals one rank of chakra from the opposing technique. If this overpowers the opponents technique, this technique continues on it's path normally.
โฑโฐโฑ Martial Magnetism | After establishing direct physical contact and using the Magnetizing Technique on an enemy, the magnetic attraction between the Jiton user and the enemy becomes so strong that the enemy's agility is reduced by [1] point per body rank of the user for a maximum reduction of [6] points at S+ rank. Physical contact can include using a melee weapon.
โฑโฐโฑ Wil-O'-Wisp: Mina's Katon and fire based ninjutsu can be used as a trigger for her Genjutsu.

โข The user is able to add their active flame type to their fire based techniques. Doing so requires five additional chakra per rank of the technique affected. This chakra spent counts towards a techniques strength during clashes.
โข Flames of Strength | This flame burns hotter than other traditional flames. The user's flames have the ability to create concussive blasts that either throw targets five feet per rank of the technique or can propel the user five feet per rank of the technique. โข Flames of Entropy | This flame has the ability to deteriorate certain objects and materials it interacts with, causing them to crumble away while not actually burning targets. Ninjutsu lesser in rank and chakra composition than the user's effected technique are disintegrated and allow for the flames to continue by paying an additional difference between techniques to retain strength. Objects which include weapons and armor not containing chakra may be disintegrated by flames equal to that weapon's rank. โข Flames of Conductivity | The user's flame techniques gain the ability to 'conduct' through one successfully stricken target and strike at another target for no extra cost by lowering the technique's strength by one rank. Alternatively, the flame can be enhanced with an activation and paying the difference in ranks for the technique to remain the same strength.
โข The user's fire based techniques are highly pressurized, doubling in size and range while adding a knock back effect of five feet per rank of the parent technique. If the parent technique already produces a knock back effect the user's fire technique gives a knock back of ten feet per rank.
โข Genjutsu Class Ninja can add a single sense to the illusory images produced by this style, treating them as instance genjutsu.
โข Practitioners are able to use basic combat physical strikes with knife hands, changing their blunt damage causing attacks to inflict damage akin to bladed weapons.
โข When in combat with a foe using Taijutsu or Bukijutsu, the user can use [Concentration] without consuming an activation to do so. โข Those that are practitioners of this style may have their [Concentration] apply to the users [Strength] and [Endurance]

โฐ Spectral Movement [ Yลซrei Idล ] | Rank A | Training After countless hours of practicing skills that utilize chakra pathways, the user is capable of leaving phantasms of their own body at the end of every phantom slayer technique they perform for no additional cost. These are considered E rank phantasms, effecting only sight.
โฐ Manipulating Line | Rank B | Training After casting Retrieval, the user is able to tack on the additional chakra to the same activation of Retrieval. Instead of calling these weapons back to the user, they are able to be manipulated by the chakra threads they are attached to in a similar manner to puppet strings.The chakra threads attached to the weapons remain active for three posts and techniques can be executed from the Manipulating Line technique as though thrown by the user if desired.
โฐ Shuriken Hunter | Rank S | Training The user's scavenging skills ensure that they are always able to find new shuriken lying about and retrieve their used weapons. This ensures they never carry less than 200 small projectile weapons.
โฐ Undertow | Rank D | Training This training focuses on using movement when you attack, carrying that much more force. After this skill is trained, any attack that follows a dodge or evasive technique is treated as a counterattack, and the user's total bonus to agility can be attributed to the strength of the next attack. When this ability is performed it cannot be used the following post.
โฐ Repeating Wave | Rank B | Training The user's training has focused on their agility ability to strike while avoiding harm. Once every three posts, the user may utilize an offensive technique that targets a specific part of the target's body that would disrupt their attack. This offensive attack deals damage regularly but allows the user to use their remaining activations as offensive as well.
โฐ Kyotoryuu Conditioning: Sunflower | Rank S | Training As a result of intensive training geared toward defensive and evasive maneuvers, the Kyotouryuu practitioner can now effectively react to an opponent by converting their speed into an agility boost for two posts with a three post cooldown. This requires no activation or resource cost.
โฐ Double Fissure | Rank C | Training The user is able to perform a very fast 2-hit combination with any physical strikes from this style without consuming an additional activation. The second technique must be executed at or below the rank of the first.
โฐ Moving Fissure | Rank A | Training By using a quick twist of the hips, the user can change the momentum of a kick that has been executed in order to change it's direction completely. Doing so requires half the cost of the technique be paid and the newly directed attack gains an additional [1] point increase to speed per rank of the technique. This ability may only be used once every three posts.
โฐ Heavy Punch | Rank E | Training The basis of the style, punch hard, punch first. The user is able to spend stamina in order to increase the strength of their punches for no activation. For each rank applied, a [1] point increase to strength is conferred.
โฐ Cicada Shell | Rank B | Training After learning the Shadow Clone Technique from the maruton list, the user may cast the Shadow Clone technique in conjunction with techniques from this style to replace mirror images with the clones. Casting Shadow Clones in this manner does not consume an activation.
โฐ Multi-Mirror Image Training | Rank A | Training The user has learned to control their chakra in a fine manner which allows them to create an additional mirror image per rank of the technique it is executed with. These additional images do not increase the strength of the parent technique.
โฐ Elemental Doubling | Rank C | Training The user does a single post of training where they practice combining their techniques with more than a single element. Once completed, all techniques are able to carry two elemental properties. This does not allow for Elemental Bloodlines to be used in this manner.
โฐ Combining Elemental Training | Rank A | Training The user does a single post of training where they practice combining their techniques with their elemental bloodline affinity, allowing them to combine the techniques of this style with their bloodline properties, including statuses inflicted by said bloodlines.
โฐ Live Fire Exercise | Rank B | Training All striking techniques executed by the user double the decreases inflicted upon targets when impacted.
โฐ Gunslinger | Rank S | Training The user has always sacrificed range for power, all up until now. By making their physical punching techniques complex, the user can send dense chakra orbs from their fists to extend their impacting range as well as allowing them to now "punch" ninjutsu. The strikes are now counted as spiritual when interacting with other techniques and carry the user's full stat increases of simple techniques. These chakra orbs range ten feet per rank of the parent technique.
โฐ Four Limb Training | Rank B | Training Allows the practitioner to substitute feet for hands in any Taijutsu technique when learned, and vice-versa. Techniques function the same, regardless of how useful the result may be. Training is typically completed either through meditation or repetition of physical training. โฐ Perfecting Balance | Rank C | Training Due to their various training requiring parkour style actions, the user is more stable. This training allows the user to withstand off balancing effects or knock back effects as though they were one rank lower in strength. โฐ Parkour Mastery | Rank A | Training The user becomes one with their momentum, learning how to harness their body as an almost perfect machine. After completing this training, the userโs agility gain any and all bonuses afforded to their speed.

Inohachi had been busy ever since the samurai forces had attack the Fire Nation Land of Fire. She liked it here better than out in the field. After New Verals, Inohachi barely stepped out of the hospital anymore. The times she does was basically to go home, get some food and the bare necessities. She died once and since then she let the fear consumed her. Sure, she was a better medic in the hospital but to what extent? Roku, came in with injuries. Her heart almost jumped out of her chest as overwhelming guilt was consuming her. Guilt for not being brave enough to step out of the hospital. If she did, would he be okay? Would he never been attacked? Course, she didn't know why he was hurt or what happened, but she was already blaming herself that her allies had gotten her. "Hi Roku-san..." Inohachi said rather meekly. Did some handsigns as warmth of her chakra underneath her hands as she started to heal up Roku. "Roku-san, I-" She stopped as she can hear emotional shouting. Worry plastered on her face as she recognized that voice. Roku was healed up by now. "M-Mina?..." Timdily, Inohachi fully opened the door and stuck her head out a bit. She could hear the last few words clearly as she watched the poor woman walk away. Inohachi was confused, angry, and wrenched with guilt. Inohachi had lost her family, they went missing, only their headbands and massive pool of blood that belonged to her parents. They lost the trail even with their best trackers. So Inohachi ended up moving to Konohagakure without them and lived with Chosuke and his family who welcomed her with opened arms.
There was something about Zakai's sadness that upset her. Now determined, she puffed her cheeks, stood upright and tall, shoulders back, chest forward, Inohachi suddenly looked like she was going to give Mina a piece of her mind! AND SHE WILL.
Her hand rested on the doorknob as she opened with such fire and ferociousness behind it, it was obvious that she wasn't going to back down!
Until she heard sobbing. Just like that, the mini fire that Inohachi had going on for her was gone. Awkwardly, removing her hand from the doorknob, she made her way over to the bed. Figured that she would barely fit, Inohachi got into bed with Mina and wrapped her arms around her. The big Yamanaka would smell like flowers, dirt, chips, and cookies. One wrong move, she would find herself on the floor, that's how close on the edge she was.

Roku limped into the busy hospital. It seemed a lot of people had been injured during the invasion based on the amount of people milling around while the doctors rushed around trying to get everyone fixed up. The teen aimlessly wandered around for a moment, trying to find a free medic. That was until a familiar face popped out in the crowd. "I'm sure Inohachi can help me out." Roku muttered to himself before making his way over to the girl. There was various injuries all over Roku's body from the events that transpired after the invasion. Simple cuts all the way to third degree burns. Regardless of his injuries, Roku seemed out of it, almost like the injuries didn't bother him at all. "Yes Inohachi? What is it?" The teen asked the girl as she healed him. The girl seemed nervous, even seemed to have feelings of guilt. It seemed that that would have to wait for now as a familiar voice rang out in a room nearby. Inohachi was the first to make her way towards the door. When opened it revealed Mina to be sitting in the hospital bed. 'Huh wonder why she's in here.' Roku thought to himself as he followed behind Inohachi, opting to stand against one of the walls of the room as opposed to getting close to Mina. Roku wasn't necessarily the touchy feely type when it came to other people's emotions. Especially given the death of his mother happening only moments before he made his way into the hospital.
