Ever since the moment they agreed to going on an official date, Ella was curious for what Lyric was planning. It was on her mind pretty often, especially as she worked on a gift for him. It was difficult to find time for anything over break, since it was usually jam-packed with Grey family activities. She had, however, gotten to show off her new animagus abilities, earning the new nickname of 'Şoarece de Bibliotecă' from Radovan. How had she not known the Romanian term similar to 'bookworm'? It was adorable! Of course, she was also trying to learn more cooking (though not very well, of course), help finish Wedding prep, and all the normal Christmas activities. On top of that, Madam Antonov was continually trying to make up for missed parenting, which just made Ella upset. It was almost worse that Ivona and Linsey had become pretty close over the fall. Thankfully, everyone (other than Ivona) was pretty good at telling when Ella needed a break. But when she got a note from Lyric advising she should wear comfy shoes and dress warmly, she started preparing an outfit right away.

The morning of their date, Ella had asked Mum to help do up her hair, and after a short while, it was done in a fancy bun with a floral hair pin tucked in. Perfect! She put on a bit of shiny lipgloss, hoping it added just a bit of dazzle. As she prepared for the day, she wrapped a nice coat over her outfit, smiling at the golden embroidery she'd done. She was close to finishing a similar one for Linsey, but it was hard to find spare time. Pulling on some warm boots, Ella waited in the front room. And then Lyric appeared with a pot of fancy purple orchids! She happily took it, hurrying to place the vase on her bedside table. Upon running back out, he gave her a bracelet adorned with lilacs! How pretty! She pulled out the gift she'd made him, offering a bouquet of lace roses.

Ella was a bit nervous riding the Knight Bus, but at least Lyric seemed confident in it. And besides, it gave her a chance to cozy beside him. But when they walked off the bus, she was surprised when Lyric asked her to cover her eyes. She was a little hesitant, but she covered her eyes with her small hands. He led the way and she could hear all sorts of sounds, including some festive music. And finally, she was able to uncover her eyes and she gasped happily at the sight. Lyric said he'd gotten them an all-day pass that covered food and rides. There was even a light show to look forward to! "Oh, Lyric, that sounds like so much fun!" He seemed a bit worried, so she gave his hand a squeeze. "I can't wait to go see everything inside!" Honey eyes sparkled with excitement as the shorter brunette grinned up at him. What a wonderfully perfect idea for the day. She was also a little glad she'd packed some extra money along with her for a souvenir or two.

Ella was so happy to see Lyric, especially since he seemed to be super excited Also very cozy. Of course, she was always happy to see him, especially after they'd started dating (and kissing). They got to cuddle a bit on the Knight Bus, which was a wild experience for her. But finally they'd made it to the lovely festival. He got them admittance, and Ella looked around the entrance. Even in the daytime, the lights were bright and fun. She looked at Lyric when he asked if there was any specific order she wanted to do things. "Oooh, maybe rides first, then food, then games, followed by the light show? I worry if we eat a bunch then go on rides, we may not feel well." She blushed, but grinned anyway.

As she looked around, there were tons of things to do. A whole slew of games with fun prizes, rides of every sort, and lots of different types of food. "Oh, Lyric look! They've got a Ferris Wheel! I've always wanted to ride on one!" She looked up at him, a sparkle in her eyes. She'd seen one in Romania once, but of course, she couldn't even think about asking to ride it then. But now she had a chance to actually ride one, and with Lyric! It would be super duper fun, she was just sure of it!
