He laughed, "Now we have to find others to join us." he smiled and gave her an attentive rub. "We'll be one great pride someday. Lionesses sun bathing and eating the juciest meat anyone has ever tasted, cubs running around like crazy. I cant wait." his eyes beamed, joyfully at what he had accomplished.

"Yeah, we will!" Knarnia said, nudging him with her head, "Like one big family!" She turned her eyes to the savannah the extended around them. "Where will our den be?"

"There is one just North of here, when I arrived a pride must have lived here before I arrived. It's large and spacious, I think it will do us nicely. Come. I'll show you." He trotted away to leader to it, the summer wind blowing through his mane. Soon an entrance to an empty cave arrived. "There are two entrances, one we can use if the other is blocked."

Mei Xing wandered around, mewling loudly "pwease help! I weally n-need some f-f-food And w-water!", she said mewling hoping someone could help her out. She didn't know that she was wandering closer and closer to Adrasto's Pride.

Adrastos ears swivled hearing the cry of another, he got up and walked towards the noise finding himself in the prescence of a small cub. Pity seemed to fill him up, without haste he picked the cub up by the scruff of the neck and carried her to the river which was somewhat neared. He went as fast as he could without to hurt the fragile cub.

Mei Xing dropped from the males mouth and lapped gratefully at the river. After a generous drink she raised her head happily licking her lips free of the remaining water. She then looked up at the male "thank you for wetting me dwink mister" she said staring up at him happily twitching her tail.

"Are you hungry?" he asked the cub looked awfully starved. Without her reply he waded in the river in which silvery fish darted in between his paws withing a few moments his paw landed on one, bubbles escaped from the fish soon through the mud the fish felt limp and he let his paw go and watched the fish float to teh top. He then gave the fish to the cub to eat, watching her while sitting on his haunches.

"Yes! Thanks mister!" she said eating the fish thankfully. once she was done she cleaned herself quickly before looking up at the kind male "Thanks!" she said "My name is Mei Xing!" she added hopping up full of energy now that she had been fed

"Hello, Mai Xing." he smiled. "I am Adrastos. Tis a pleasure to meet you, the King bowed slightly to the cub yet noticably. Welcome to my Pride." The King of Cerulean Waves gave her a gentle look, "May I ask what you may be doing by yourself?"

Mei xing dipped her head copying the kings movements "well......I was kittennapped!!" she said her eyes growing huge

"Excuse me?" he asked. "Someone took you? From where?" he asked as he laid down to see eye to eye with the cub then peering down at her which could be determined as intemidating, when she copied him it seemed to make him laugh a bit on the inside.

She looked down as her paws shuffled in the dirt "i'm not sure...All i know was that another lion kittennaped me...he took me from my mother while she was sleeping.." she said her tail and ears drooping as she looked sadly at her paws. "I was awone out there for 2 days by mysewf.." her eyes watered as she thought of her mother

He nuzzled her in a comferting way, "Do not worry Mai. You may stay here if you wish, you are welcomed here and you will be as family if you decided to stay here. I would also be delighted to see you living here happily.

Mei Xing looked up at him her tears fading slowly "weally?" *sniff* "thank you!" she jumped up purring loudly and rubbing against his front leg for comfort "is thewr any other ones like me?"she asked
