Aletheia froze as Chambersite laughed. Many emotions flowed through her. First it was terror at the realization that killing people solely by draining them wasn't the standard, then near-overwhelming embarrassment, both of which slid down to a final, decisive, miffed while he carried his victim behind the tree. Oh, he wanted to make fun of her, huh? She folded her arms, her brows furrowed and her nose wrinkled, and just as she was about to shout something in her defense-
- Her target let out a pathetic groan.
"YEEK!" She screeched, jumping two feet back and clutching her chest. He'd looked so pale and dead before, but maybe the darkness had played tricks on her? She grumbled and started dragging his body toward the bushes.
She wasted no time basically tossing him into the leaves and marched herself right back to Chambersite.
"Listen buster," She grumbled, placing her hands on her hips. "Until tonight, I thought that you basically murdered people that you drained. I had no idea they could live through it. This was a learning experience and, while I guess it is pretty funny..."
She paused. Honestly, could she even ask him to keep this between them? She was the senshi of rumors for crying out loud. It seemed hypocritical of her to tell someone else not to spread a story around. She made a face at herself.
"Just... Don't let a higher up know that I'm that much of a doofus, okay?" She continued, sheepishly. SSBrosB Don't let her live this down, Chambersite. 8V

Chambersite had to hide his smile behind his hand, or else he was going to bust out laughing, again. And his sides were still hurting from the first time. He gave her a wave with his other hand, as though telling her it was all right. When he felt like he could actually speak to her without laughing, he removed his mouth-covering-hand and let out a breath before responding. "Y-yeah." Shoot he almost laughed there! ""I won't tell anyone. Unless they show you or tell you what happens, then you don't know right? I'm sorry, I thought you knew how draining energy worked." He felt a little annoyed at the situation. He wasn't annoyed at her but from what he could tell, she hadn't been trained at all, which wasn't something you could do to an agent. Even in the military there was training before deployment. When he would become a General, he wouldn't let those that he recruited to be left in the dark. He did give her an encouraging smile though. ""You did well tonight though. If you have any other questions and no one is willing to give you answers, you can ask me and I can see if I know the answer, all right? No judgement. No one can get around in life without asking questions, and to be left in the dark about all of this stuff, it's not fair."He took a look at the locations where the unconscious men were, and then turned back to the corrupt. ""I think we can call it a night. I can walk you back to your place if you want. Though if you're willing, we can go to a cafe or something and get ourselves a treat for a job well done." He said, giving her a wink. ""Of course, you don't have to take either of those options, and we can say goodbye until perhaps the next time we meet." He didn't want her to think of him as some creepy weirdo. ""You can do what you want. I may just go and get a coffee and baked good or something before heading back to my place."

Oh thank goodness. Aletheia let the wave of relief wash over her like breath of fresh air and nodded along to what Chambersite was saying. Thank God she'd met this guy tonight. Though he'd laughed at her moments ago, she was alright with letting that go because of how understanding he was. She'd been thrown into this life without even a tiny bit of a training and had no experience with all of this energy stuff. Now that she knew what she was doing, she would be able to handle it in future.
"Thank you, just... Thank you." She said, exasperated. "You've really made all of this seem less crazy than I thought it was going to be and, though I'm still embarrassed, I'm grateful that you understand."
She looked up to the skyline at the suggestion of going to a cafe. Where was her apartment from here? She'd probably have to take a bus or something to get back. However, getting a bite to eat sounded like heaven right now. She smiled.
"Yeah, a coffee and a slice of cake sound really good right about now." She laughed, moving to stand next to Chambersite. "Hopefully there's a place still open nearby... Though, it is a nice night for a walk. I wouldn't mind either way."SSBrosB Do you think it's good to end here or maybe in your next post? I would love for them to meet up again sometime! They make a good team! o wo

Chambersite grinned at her. "You're welcome. I knew it took some time for myself to learn, well, what I know now. Just make sure to pass the knowledge on you know? And maybe once we're at a higher rank, we can make a beginner's guide or something." He said, chuckling a bit. He looked East. "There's a cafe there that we can go to that I like. Then we can head our separate ways. Still, I'd like to see you again. Maybe we can go and drain some more people together." He started moving in the direction of the cafe, taking a look at her to make sure that she was following him. They could power down before they got there, and he could make sure that she started in the right direction of her home. At least he would have his phone with him so they could gps it. Bouquet of Diamonds Last post from me! Thank you for the rp!

Her? Make a beginners guide? That seemed like a pipe dream where she was right now. Still, Aletheia appreciated the amount of confidence Chambersite seemed to have in her ability to learn. Perhaps in future she could pass knowledge along, but that wouldn't be likely for quite a long time. She stretched her arms out and yawned.
"You know, on second thought," She began, leaning her stretch out to the side. "I think I'd better head in for the night. I can always make a cup of coffee at home. No need to spend money tonight, you know? Gotta show a bit of restraint."
Really, though, she had no business spending frivolously. Rent was expensive and so were crafting supplies. Chambersite didn't need to hear her tale of woe, though, he'd already helped her a great deal tonight. She took a few steps away and turned back, offering Chambersite a smile.
"See you around, Chambersite." She said, raising her hand to give him a quick finger gun motion with a wink before continuing to walk away. "Thanks again."SSBrosB Hey! I know this rp was sitting a while but I realized I left it super open ended on what they decided to do. Since we're planning on a civ meeting then reveal I decided it would be best to leave this rp with her deciding it would be best just for her to head home. Sorry it took so long, though. At least it can be properly "FIN'd" on my end now.
